Hey everyone, this is the 4th and final part of the 2019 grass court season drama series. However, stay tuned for more from the 2019 US open hard court series seasons. 🎞️🤬🎾
Thank you everyone for watching this series 🙏
Tennis Advocate oh noooo they were so good!!
The last clip was from a previous part, but this series is REALLY amazing!!
@@maddoxbeattie1568 Do you mean the Alize Cornet clip? I haven't put that clip in any of the other parts.
@@dordor3262 Sorry about that 🙏. But I'm sure there will be entertaining moments in the US Open hard court series that's just started. Stay tuned 🎞️
Tennis Advocate it’s fine
Judge: You are accused of murder.
Defendant: That can't be. I have never murdered anyone in my life. I have tried many times. I couldn't have now.
Brilliant! 😂
That ump with medvedev and goffin had to have been high lmfao. Not only was the overrule off by miles but medvedev lost the game and the ump said "Game Medvedev" hahahaha
I had to re-watch that part of the video two twice in order to understand wtf was happening.
Agreed
Wozniacki: I'v never done a foot fault in my life. ever.
Our detectives: she has previously had a foot fault in this same tournament back in 2013. 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
Great detective work. If that was here only one since 2013 I probably would've forgotten too.
And she made the same comments about being able to go over, but not touching the line! 🤣
@@jeffreyw928 And she complained about the opponent making footfaults in her first national championship final for youth back in Denmark. I umpired and told her the rules - sorry.
@@WonderWhatHappened that match after her first foot faul was only one and half month later dude
@@nautaYT oh i thought it was in 2019. Oops.
Medvedev to supervisors: “Why are you sitting here? Never in the history of tennis do you overrule something. What are you doing here?”
Ain't that the damn truth?!
Hilarious comment that was. And like the best comedy, more than a hint of truth to it!
you know what. I love the subtitles of these videos. thank you so much.
Paire and Wozniacki should play mixed doubles together. That would be something fun to watch
That would be fun hahaha
against Kyrgios and Serena Williams...
lmao that's just pure evil
@@camembertdalembert6323 against just Kyrgios, he is a diva for two
& they can face ostapenko & krygios
"why do i always get idiots??!!" most famous line in tennis.
"MRSH"
Reminds me of Jafar's comment, "I'm surrounded by idiots"
@@john-boy4283 Pretty sure it was Scar that said that.
Thanks, I had my villains mixed up
well, if you feel surrounded by idiots maybe you are the idiot, unless you are an expert in your field.
I dislike Zverev but that "What planet is it advantage Vesely" was pretty entertaining.
Woz: “I’ve never had a foot fault in my career”
Commentators: “THE FIRST FOOT FAULT OF HER CAREER” 😂😭
😂😂
Tennis commentators are bizarrely ignorant, almost all them, I mean they could at least hire someone that watched tennis more than a couple of time in life. Man in 2021 Olympics was ridiculous, the ESPN commentator didn't know the difference between unreturned service and an ace he thought when the player returns but the ball goes out or into the net means ace hahaha I laughed
@@alancosta4760 What you described is unforced error. A serve which is returned, but goes out in any way (long or wide) or hits net is unforced error for your opponent. An unreturned serve is an ace unless it goes out or hits the net.
@@einarsd4 he knows lmfao, hes saying the espn commentator didnt
"What planet is it 'advantage Vesely'?"
i like how the ump just pleads the 5th there, too.
i have no recollection of the events in question -.-
i think it was the correct call tho. zverev had already made up his mind towards the ball being out and not taking a proper swing at it. so it actually was advantage vesely right here on planet earth ;P
@@erbgorre yeah definitely the right call. Even Zverev asks to challenge it because he thinks the ball was called in.
@@erbgorre it was called out during Zverev hit the ball - big distraction
@@thebigmonstaandy6644 watch it again. by the time the call happens zverev had already swung at the ball and raised his hand signaling that he wants to challenge. the call didnt affect him at all
@@erbgorre i saw it 2 times.no.he raised his hand after Vesely asked.they callen out little bit later, after hitting the bal,but during swing off,and this is distraction
The first Medvedev point the umpire’s head has completely gone for a moment. Makes the terrible overrule then announces “Game Medvedev” after Goffin wins the point and game
Angry Medvedev is the funniest thing in tennis
Med appears in all these videos, he is hardcore
The dude has anger management issues. He doesn't know how to release his anger without getting violent or abusing someone.
Been waiting for another one of these 😃
Medvedev going ham on that backboard was strangely satisfying.
the umpire was really messing with danil's rhythm
Indeed.
These videos are amazing. Hope you keep up with these for hard courts!
8:00 every karen wants to speak with the manager
I had to laugh when I saw that, too, first it sounded like an insult when he called him Karen 😂
I wan to see Paire and Kyrgios play each other. What an interesting match that would be.
It would take weeks, never ever end because of all the tantrums and arguing.
I can’t stand Kyrgios
They already played each other in Melbourne in 2014
Actually they did, at AO 2014 and Tokyo 2015, Paire won both times but the situation was quite different
@@guillerpuebla Kyrgios was not in his prime that epoch and not too much famous as today now would be amazing gahahaha a real show if you like drama not tennis
lol, that goffin/medvedev umpire was high on something
the medvedev goffin match was actually an insanely good match, the 5th set was crazy high standard
I'd gladly cut Goffin's team though, they are the ones screaming "bouuuuh" everytime Medvedev argues with the ump, even when he leaves the court
I really appreciate your work Tennis Advocate. These are good. Can't wait for more. Most important are subtitles 👍
"This is bullseye! This is bullseye! I don't swear, right?" is genuinely quite clever...
Could say bull poop and it would sound better and makes it sound more like bullshit.
7:27 He says Game Medvedev🤣🤣
so weird, i thought i was hearing things, everyone just ignores it....
Yeah it was so bizarre, I think the Umpire was just shaken
Me: Doesn't watch or play Tennis.
Also Me: That ball was clearly out these Umpires are obviously visually impaired.
the umpires usually do not tell if the ball is in or out on their own every time. There are line judges who stand facing the line so they can see if it was in or out and use hand signals to send the message to umpire. The umpire can then go or change the call. I think that’s how it works.
Medvedev really bounced back from that loss very well, didn't he?
Man I love these videos I subscribed :) Thanks for the good work
"Karen, Karen... Linda, honey, listen to me."
Thanks for the subtitles!
Man seeing those little Medvedev's highlights in 2021, when he's without any doubt the second in the world, is so strange, he was so erratic then.
Accident or not, Osta makes such horrible serve it should open up for adjust the rules in doubles for receive serve, to only apply to player(s) standing in the valid side of receive court.
Look at scores, that cheap point couldn't come more handy...
Also, the two clearly had a chuckle about that situation. Cows.
@@nbvw3 you two are idiots. Ostapenko serves like that often in her singles matches.. I mean her second serves are usually land there.. so it was not meant to be like that in that situation.. I feel for Cornet, but the rule is a rule. That happens so rarely, that everyone would chucke
@@kgztime I agree it's the rule so no one can complain. And there is a good reason for that rule as well. However, it doesn't matter if her serve usually land there or the moon, it's her reaction that shows her bad manners. The least you should do is raise your hand to apologize, but no, laughing for winning dirty is her priority.
This is "bulls-eye"! Love it.
i love your drama tennis videos
ostapenko accidentally hitting cornet the ball and still winning the point was hilarious
2:44 Strange to see Troicki in one of these videos not kicking off
2:46 I knew it was too good to be true....
What? Troicki isn't in this video?
@@theanonymouscommenter3035 Yeah im confused af too
It's amazing how every time a foot fault is called it triggers them. Even when their serve is not really good.
You'd not be amuzed if that happened to you.
Because is a primary miss you learn not to do it when you was a kid, maybe the first "technicality" you learn like in football don't touch the ball with the hand if you're a line player
I would be fuming if someone's serve was so shit they earned a point off it
The worst part is that Ostapenko didn’t even apologize for it...
We love these videosssss yesssss
Kachanov was completely right. He always has a good behaviour on court and that time he didn't deserve a code violation.
Medvedev has valid points here. First what is the actual purpose of a supervisor. They never do anything. And the ball thing should have been a first serve. He clearly saw it while medvedev was in motion.
The supervisor probably has a rich daddy who wants his special son to feel important.
@Dencod Raikkonen He "clearly" saw it? Really? You were not only up in his chair with the same view, but you could see through his eyes? You have some amazing skills. I would contact the CIA or MI5 *IMMEDIATELY* for employment if I were you!
@@bookemdanno5596 What a stupid comment. Calm down.
10:38,the laughing sounded like they were proud of that serve~
黃信樺 of course they were, it’s Ostapenko, she’ll do anything including cheating to win

Quality vids. Subbed
he great footage uploader, also nice you found the 2013 footage... amazing....
that first footage in turkey, was that in the 40 degree heat?
It was very hot that day, I'm not 100% how many degrees it was though. Turkish summer is sweltering ☀️.
@@TennisAdvocate thank you by the way providing all this footage... I am accually an umpire myself on a low level though but I want to keep improving and some of these situations are good to practise and see what professionals do. mostly the replay or point given after a faulty call
You're welcome. Oh cool, I'm glad these situations are helping you with your umpiring job. I'm sure you're looking forward to umpiring a Nick Kyrgios match 😄
@@TennisAdvocate haha, maybe yes.
but I would not have a lot of patience as dumusois had at wimbledon.... I would've given him more warnings (officially)
These are lit! Keep it up!!!
This is bulls “eye”, bulls “eye”. lmao he wants to swear sooo bad
I mean, can't they just look at cameras to see if it was a foot fault or not?
That call when ostapenko hit the ball AT cornet and the umpire said “it’s a way to win a point” is totally wrong. Also I understand why sharapova was upset at parmentier. When your opponent retires, it is uncalled for to do a victory dance
Technically is always not a moment for victory dance it's embarrassing for the fans 😂
It is more uncalled for to retire because you can't hack losing.
Tomljanovic has no argument.. call clearly comes after she hits the ball.
It wouldn't be a video without Woz, Paire, and Med.
The way Cornet claps at Ostapenko 😂
Ostapenko is always finding ways to make this a contact sport 😂
"Is a way to win the point" can you imagine if she took that very serious, you wouldn't want to say that to Kyrgios if he was playing doubles that's for sure 😂
“I think she just wants to be important” ...
bwuahahhahahaha! Oh my lord
the last one playing tennis your whole life not knowing its a point if the doubles partner touches the ball on the serve...clearly they didnt grow up playing public court tennis like some of us, where that was an occasional strategy (on "accident")
Maria was right - normally players NEVER celebrate in any way the win if opponent retired even if that's 5-0 score. Especially in such goofy awkward manner
Wrong. Maria denied her opponent a real victory that she earned by quitting down 5-0. Her opponent earned that victory. Many players celebrate a little after a win.
How on earth can you play on grass in Turkey in summer ?!!!!
Especially In Antalya. I've been there in August it was super hot.
I come to see if Troicki appears
6:55 When you retire at 6-7; 0-5 you deserve a little bit of taunting. She could have either retired way earlier or just finished the last game. 10:28 And Cornet doesn't know the rules, wow...
Well Corner took it well, she complimented the opponent and didn’t get angry at the Ump after he explained
Can someone explain what happened with the overrule when Medvedev was playing? I don't understand
Conceding at the last moment before losing is such a scumbag move. Trying to put an asterisk next to the match rather than just losing fair and square.
10:29 , that was very mean; very mean way to get a point.
I don’t think that was meant to hit her...
@@miguelteirlinck6942 Well, then she should have apologized, which she did not.
@@amitavakala1757 why say sorry if you didn't mean to. Not her fault the chick was in the way of the ball. Plus it's a tennis ball big deal. Get pegged with a baseball at 100 mph and they you can complain about something
@@YoungCorruption If you think the ball would have fallen in the service box if it had not hit Cornet, then I have absolutely no argument with you.
YoungCorruption more so the fact that they are both laughing as if it’s funny. That was a cheap shot whether she meant to or not. An apology was the least she could’ve done, but no Ostapenko and her partner would rather laugh. 🙄
Where is the part of Paire cut his sleeves? That one is classic too haha.
Apparently Sharapova didn't want to lost a match with a bagel lol.
Wozniacki is complaining every single time if the call was against her.
Yeah, the tennis court staff cut his sleeves for him while he was laying on the grass 😂
Nice videos with subtitles. Perfect.
About last ball (serving directly in the oponent body)I always wonder what would happen if this is happening and this is the first time I see it. ATP/WTA must give a rule for this and the empire can overrule the body shot calling it out. There are several cases when you can hit a masive shot directly in the other player's body while the other player is clearly outside the tennis court. Avoiding a rapid ball comming at you from oponnent have nothing to do with tennis skills.
"Karen, Karen, listen..." 😆
That Turkish open not having a spectators? 😂😂😂
howdyday they are all busy pacifying the Kurds in Syria
Singles or doubles, grass or clay or hard surface, Ostapenko is a permanent fixture in drama videos.
- Ive never slapped my wife in my whole life
- But you just beat her ?
- Yes but I never slapped her in my whole life
(Wosniacki logic)
No the logic is that its unlikely to be a footfault if she’s never dome one in her whole career. Your “joke”would mean she recognised it was a footfault.
10:28 how is it servers point aren't they supposed to serve cross court???? (correct me if im wrong)
11:14 ‘Game Medvedev’, it’s actually Goffan’s game!
Umpire had a bad minute there
whats with the double audio in these vids?
What’s with all of the racket throwing in this tournament?
give urself the code violation 😂😂😂
Benoit Paire : the guy is a walking child, still thinking that straightening the collar on a shirt looks cool. Walking joke!
The umpire in the Khachanov match is awful!
The groundstaff woman’s face at 10:20😫😄
“Remember the Kygrios match in Miami?”
What kind of excuse is that?
Lol ya Zverev acting like his matches are so well known..prick
he said as if it was a game like the AO2012 final between nadal-djoker.
0:16 Well now you have a new life experience. Treasure it.
When the umpire overrules and he is that wrong he needs to be thrown out.
"I've never done a foot fault in my life. Ever."
I'm not sure how this sort of observation, even if true, makes her foot fault any less a foot fault. Yet I hear this sort of "I am beyond mistakes" argument very often from various tennis pros.
It's important to understand that Caroline Wozniacki was perfect and never made a mistake in her entire life.
This is basically all the top players in a nutshell hahahaha ATP/WTA top 50 is the worst place in the world to find a no arrogant person
@@BobCakez for sure she didn't
5:33 "That call affected my shot". Nooo it didn't.
I would say it did.
@@henryschmidt5025 I would say with almost certainty that it didn't. The almost is only there for the case the visual and the sound in this video are slightly out of sync.
@@yianpap6093 you are right!
That's the one rule I've never understand. How does the umpire get to decide whether a shot was a hindrance or not? The point should just be replayed if the Umpire overrules a bad call.
Replay even after a winner or an ace? Makes no sense. Of course the umpire gets to decide this. Someone has got to do the job.
I like this channel 👍
LMAO HOW MANY RACQUETS DID PAIRE ALREADY BREAK IN 2019 SMH
Why does the audio sound so bad?
Someone explain the last one to me. The server served it into the wrong service box. I get that (stupid rule, but it is one) if you hit the opponent you win the point...BUT...she served it into the wrong box. Is that seriously still a point won?
Yes. If your opponent is serving, you must allow it to bounce, no matter how far out it appears to be going. If any part of you touches the ball before it bounces, you automatically concede the point. Frustrating for Cornet, but it's the rules
That last one was pretty ridiculous lol. The player was using the racket to protect themselves, as one would instinctly, hence lost the point.
These are the rules and every player learns that since being a child...
Putting raquet infront of yourself was just a very stupid move that only woman could pull off
It's 1:48 midnight and here i am again to spend another 15 minutes
15 minutes of crybaby moments (Well, except for the last one, which is just ridiculous)
I thought the ball has to go into the serve box diagonally from the server when serving?! Is that different during doubles? Because at 10:27 the server is on the right side of the court from our point of view and therefore should have placed the ball into the far left serve box, but she served straight across from her! What’s going on?
Apparently, if it hits opponent's racket, it is ok.
@@ayandas874 ok, strange because there was no way she could have known beforehand whether her opponent would touch the ball with her racket instead of going out of the way.
@@pacovl46 it's a stupid rule but this was the right
@@alancosta4760 it absolutely is a stupid rule.
New meta in doubles. Serve on your opponent for easy points 🤔
I know.. that should not be a thing.. to me that is a clear violation, but I guess not..
You wouldn't want to start doing that deliberately, given that you'll be at the net in the next game with a pissed off server...
@@BobCakez reflexes friends, it's all about reflexes
Ok Im sorry but why do you take the risk of going over the line and touching. Does 5mm make a huge difference in your serve???

Press play & immediately 2 ads & my heart sinks & I just skip. Why not have a few mins play then ads. It is really messing me up & they lose out. Do it my way & people wouldn't skip.
Parmentier was winning 5/0 in the final set, and Sharapova just gave up before the loss, and she claims something ?? Well done Pauline !!
Are you suggesting she should keep playing with an injured wrist? Considering this is the first time she retired from a grand slam.
Nah, that's just typical Frenchie "conviviale" behaviour.
Parmentier made a fool of herself after the match
Giggling after a clever point. lol.
Give yourself a code violation hahaha
OMG, Paire cut his shirt's shoulder sleeves :D :D :D
Keep doing 'em
Why is the audio like this on all of your videos, I thought it would just be one. Tried different devices and it's still awful
This is series of videos is such a weird mix of ones I fully support the players on and ones I don't.
For 2:30ish I definitely think Tomljanovic was in the wrong on that.
So my strategy is to aim the racquet of the net player. Pretty smart right?! ;) You’re welcome.
Also where's Bernard Tomic?
