Watching you use that jointer, so casually, reminded me of a job interview 50 years ago, for the position of a wood machinist. The MD welcomed me, sat me down and asked me to put my hands on the table! Having complied with this simple request he stated that you've got the job. Start Monday 😅! As I was leaving, having only performed this ritual, I tried to him quizzically and with temerity asked! "Hands on the table! No questions"! How does that work. His reply was brilliant 🤣 "Simple", he replied, if you've got all your fingers, you're no wood machinist and if you've lost more than one, you're unemployable. 6 months later I joined the board as a director and used the same ploy! Memories are funny aren't they! Love watching your Heath Robinson approach and all that you achieve Marty! 👍👌

Since the centrifuge that filters the donated fish oil is run on free turbine power, all you're paying for is the small amount of fuel thinner plus the diesel consumed starting up the beast each time. It's genius, sir! You've built yourself a self-deploying emergency power station that runs for next to nothing. 👍🏼

I also managed a 4000mile road trip while using only 15 litres of diesel, having left home with all my fuel for the trip!. It was one of 5 vehicles I've run on veg over the years. It had a 120 litre aux tank heated by the engines coolant, a heat exchanger and heated filter system. Automated thermostatic switch over valves. Only thing you had to do was press a button 1km before the end of your journey to run the purge cycle. Unfortunatley due to French bueracracy, Brexit, modern fuell injection systems (possible on veg but a PITA) and one too many questions form Customs officiers I no longer run Veg in any vehicles :(

***I cannot believe there is ANY negative comments at all!*** I think this is genius and I also think people are just jealous of what you do and are too lazy or ignorant to get up and do something on their own. This is the type of stuff that's so many others should be doing to instead of just running their mouth.

@@flat-earther I think it would be great of course but finding a place where you could do that is another matter! I would check homesteading in Alaska if you think you could handle the weather. Good luck!

Marty T - you are an amazing fellow. 1) The world needs more people like you. 2) For those who aspire to learn your skills, your videos are a tremendous gift. Bless you Marty T. You are a gem. This creation should be just the ticket for your high power needs in your workshop. On a routine day in - day out basis your hydro seems to provide for your household needs. Now that you have adequate power for a full workshop, I'm anxiously looking forward to what you get up to next! The veg oil preheater wrap around the exhaust pipe is brilliant. If you are satisfied with the performance of the new rig, I imagine when you go to hard plumb the veg oil supply, a few more wraps would the exhaust pipe would be beneficial. 😊
