Nice to see the ram made the news again. I've notice the sheep seem to be standing about 75 feet directly in front of every new machine that you bring in trying to figure out if they're willing to let it come in. I can't remember if you've done it or not, but I'd love to see a video about where you picked up all of you experience. I'm absolutely amazed at your abilities. As usual, thanks for the video!

Hi Marty, that cab was very creative, and very sensible. My Dad had stories of men hit by snapped wire ropes. For those who don't know a chain will just drop where it is if it breaks, but it gives no warning. A wire rope thrashes about all over the place as the pent up stretch caused by the tension is released but it does make ominous noises before it fails - can't hear them over a noisy engine though....
Bob UK, it's a bit of a myth that chains don't recoil - George Saunders caught one on film a couple of days back: ua-cam.com/video/A9LpdqW_Gmw/v-deo.html

Hi Marty . Sometimes daily life gets a bit overwhelming. I'm not a fabricator by any means, but I like to do things like this for therapy . You did a great job , and well worth the effort. It just might save your life one day !
Genuinely always impressed with your safety gear. Thank you for continuing to set a good example for all of us! Chem filter respirator, full face shield, cut gloves, the works. Good on you.
Agree I was also impressed with the use of the 3M respirator when using the angle grinder. The dust when using those is awful to breath in. Tip: put 1 sheet of toilet paper over the first stage of both filters to capture the course dust. When you remove it you’ll see what you’d have been breathing in.
Yes, another man, on finding that bully in the coarse, would have said, "broken track, not worth the trouble." Not Marty. Where others see defeat, Mart sees possibilities.
Smoke rings are cool. You are quite the metal fabricator. Want to say how impressed I am with your attention to safety. I see so many people not being safe. And they have families. Thanks for the video.
One place I worked we did a static winch test of the towing hitches at a military test center. One of the solders showed me the 19mm deep grooves cut in a tanks armor by a flailing winch cable when it snapped during a test. His comment was the trooper who complained about having to be inside with the hatches shut rather than sitting out in the sunshine was somewhat pale when he came out.

You probably already check, but every once in a while check the end of the rams horns for curl back into the skull. Easily cut off. I was shephard in Oregon for years and we had this one ornery ram. Found out by chance his problem was his curled back horn and inch into his big head. He remained ornery after it was trimmed and healed though. We called him Badnews, at 350 pounds.
Marty, nice to see that you keep the safety guards on your grinders. I was in the power tool business for 40 years and saw so many people injured because they took the safety guards off their tools [grinders]. When I was given tools [grinders] for repair, the tool after repair was given back to the customer with a safety guard on them. Next time I picked up tools for repair the guards were missing. Stupid way to use a grinder with no safety guard.... So after repair the tools went back with guards on them again. Maybe the customers were just trying to give me extra business by selling guards. I wasn't selling guards so to speak, I was selling safety. Quincy, Massachusetts U. S. A. 12 miles [19km] south of Boston, Massachusetts
Not to mention the mask, have seen guys using grinders all day in an enclosed space. The amount of fine metal and disk particles in the air is full on , and they are just breathing it in.
Mr Marty, I know we have said it before but it’s amazing how you can repair everything you touch. In addition you have a wonderful family and live in a beautiful country, God bless all of you from Tennessee in the US.
