I think that Tywin (Jamie, Cersie and Tyrion's father), knows that Aria is a girl but he does not know that she is a Stark. Hope that helps to clear that up for you?
Tywin and Arya's relationship I always thought was kimd of awesome and cute in a way.
If he knew he would never have left her to walk around freely. She is really valuable as a hostage becasue he is at war with her brother. He could exchange her for Jamie.
I always liked Tywin, Charles Dance did an amazing job portraying that character. A very pragmatic and realist character whose only goal is to further the Lannister dynasty. I can respect that.
And yes their relationship was really funny and imho very important becasue it showed what kind of man he really is. And he very much liked how smart Arya was. He would've likely be a very good father if they werent the prominent Lannister family carrying the burden of the entire lineage.

He literally says “this one’s a girl” and they have a conversation about it.
First thing he's saying is " sh'es a girl" and she answer : "Safer to travel"
Arya was not looking ahead by picking the Tickler, but the Tickler was more of an immediate threat than Joffrey in King's Landing. If this explanation is not enough, Arya was presented with this power from an unexpected drop from a cloud and acted on impulse due to former reason.
She also likely didn't know if the guy was for real so she would test him out with the most immediate threat

I honestly think she had grown to kind of like and respect Tywin. Especially after he kind of saved them from being tortured. And she's just a girl, probably wasn't thinking of the bigger implications

You should do a couple two episode videos per season :) rather than hold yourself back when you start getting engaged throughout the episode, they often fly by

I think the first kill Arya chooses the Tickler bc he close by and she is testing to see if what The Man is telling her is true. And the Tickler is a POS so that doesnt help his case lol
I always kind of felt that Tywin knew as well. But, Tywin is way too cold and calculating to let an opportunity like Arya pass him by. They start off the scene talking about how they're losing the war. He would've done anything at this point to turn the tides.
Arya is 9 years old and lives in a concentration camp, it is normal that she wants to eliminate torturers and does not think beyond where she is, it is not selfishness, it is survival, my Sweet Summer Child

Don't worry, you'll be glued to your seat for the next two seasons yet, after that you'll still be unable to stop watching, but that's when the cracks begin to form. slight at first and then they get bigger, and bigger, and bigger.
Nope. It's a tremendous watch THROUGH THE END. Don't listen to his comment Stef! Game of Thrones is GREAT FOR ITS WHOLE, not for its individual seasons.

Sure there is a season that is worse than the rest, but it's still a TREMENDOUS watch. One of the great shows of all time 👍
