Amazing restoration of beautiful shoes that will last the owner for likely more than 15 years, and matters even more since the manufacturer is no longer in business. You are in a class by yourself with your workmanship. And you will never be "a jerk with a needle!"

When you said “I usually say ‘not a jerk with a needle’”, I’d just said it. There is an incredible comfort that comes with your videos and part of it is those moments because they feel like inside jokes. It’s the same when you say “Hammer time” and I hear “cover your ears, children.” I’ve been watching since before that donkey complained about the noise. Thanks for keeping on, Steve!

He and mom are interred at Arlington National Cemetery…How I miss my mom and dad! Take care sir and stay well, be safe, and bless u and ur loved ones. Love watching ur demos/videos!

OLD LEATHER SMITH here, nice job Steve. When I make Moccasins 4 a client I always tell them 2 NEVER USE POLISH!!! Always use a product 2 soften this way U almost never get cracks, with polish the sweat builds up in the leather and U get rot and cracks. Same goes when I repair shoes. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃

Great work as always Steve!! The leather filler for those cracks is very interesting. If it can keep the cracks from getting worse it is certainly worth it. Would be interested to see how the uppers look at the cracked areas after a few months of wear. It is obviously much different than professional crack repair for old leather car seats where there is not as much flexing.

    OK, last comment
    - The inclusion of the minor details was top notch with this video. You were on fire!
    - hey man! You skipped hammer time!
    - of course, it goes without saying that the end result was amazing.
    - I truly feel that this was one of your finest videos both in the work you did/end results, but with the quality of the explanations.
