Hold the phone. 0:42 You sharpen your box-cutter blades? I'm gonna write a letter to Olfa in Japan and urge them to sponsor you with new blades. In reality what you are doing is helping the environment by adding life to those blades. Personally I think the practice is rare yet wonderful. Watching you work is like watching a legend in his own time.
Hi Steve, The effort you put into the vintage LV makes the wait worth it. The craftsmanship once your done is better than original. Thank you for all you do. Respectfully.
For what's it worth, I really enjoyed this format, even seeing the full stitching and winding a bobbin. I realize that's mostly mundane stuff to you but it's still interesting to me. Thanks for sharing!
11:45 I'm like "man.. this guy is a BOSS." attending to business on the phone, repairing a $1,500 bag, and filming for an audience of 140,000 people-- at the same damn time 😂 I want to be like this guy. This guy inspires me. So fascinating to watch you repair these, Steve. Would never imagine I'd sit for 45 mins and actually watch something like this but it's cool! You're passing the knowledge on 🔥 protecting the future of the trade.
U have mastered the art of restoring Louis vuttion bags. Maybe u should take license from company to officially restore them. Nice job. Keep on continuing #letscontinue
Absolute genius I'm surprised LV haven't snapped you up ,you take so much care and attention I have vintage Louis Vuittons they do last but not not forever love how you give them a new life 👌👌😌
I just love your video's and your humor. I'm an artist, an OCD one also, and every time we get to the end of the video I'm impressed. Great stuff, dude!
I can’t believe you did that sewing, without the guide, and on the phone. I am so jealous. I can’t sew a straight line for all the tea in china and I’ve been trying years.
You make it look so easy, but that’s because you are a master. This kind of stuff would drive me batty. I much prefer the shoe work, but I feel like your bag/non-shoe work shows more of your mastery of the whole industry. But I still prefer show stuff… I do feel like you don’t have as much funny banter with the bags as you do the shoes.
Hi Steve, absolutely love watching your phenomenal skills and wisdom, If you ever want to do a video a few hours long I'm sure we would all watch!! My favourites are the designer bags and jackets 🥰
They are nothing special, just a name makes them expensive, material wise it's mostly crap. We need to rethink what is really valueable in life. The shoe brand or bag brand doesn't make me who I am.
Steve, remarkable work good sir. Not only do you repair such hyper expensive bags, you improve them better than what the factory did! Thank you so much for sharing. Happy Holidays to you and your family! Cheers from Texas.
Hi Leather Brother. OLD LEATHER SMITH here. Nice jobs. Where you machine I hand stitch and vice versa, in stead of removing the lining I usually go 2 the bottom of the lining and open the stitches at the bottom and pull it out. I also reinforce all handles with a similar product, on tack, and belts. Just some ideas I have used in the past. GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
“Good things come to those that wait”. How much time do you figure you put into working on these items? Beautiful work, and I thought sewing on material was challenging at times!
Love your work always a pleasure to watch I've been watching your videos since you first started using a mobile phone to video your work all I can say is your videoing has become very very professional its great to watch you work I know you've been asked this before but doesn't this mean that they are no longer purely Louis Vitton bags anymore considering you have improved them Although if you didn't do this they would be bags you just had for show and would never be used and to be honest who's to say your work is not better than Louis Vitton themselves I mean just to have you work on an item increases the value a hundred fold your work is exceptional if I owned these bags I think that I would be proud to say they are original Louis Vitton bags fixed by Steve at Bedo's Leatherworks your work increases their value that is the greatness of your work and the way your company is world renowned for your exceptional abilities Good to watch your work great UA-cam channel love your sense of humour always a pleasure to see you work
Personally I don’t have a problem with the smart upgrades he adds, but he should custom stamp those items on the inside of each and date with his initials somewhere more noticeable.
Thank you Steve for helping to clear out the Louis Vuitton addicts buy enabling them to overdose before Xmas. Once again you have made repairing bags interesting 🙂 just have to be careful I don't mention it to any women within earshot.
@@BedosLeatherworksLLC Yes it's sad to see the fact that they don't reinforce things and they charge people an arm and a leg for vinylized canvas and leather.
They produce these bags really very cheaply, then charge thousands of dollars for them. They only give a shit about their bottom line. $$$ is their god.
Beautiful work, Steve. @Bedo's how do you get the date code in there and how do you get the Lv stamp on the tab? Is it a hot stamp custom made for you?
i got leather bags after a loong time (i didn't own any at that time) and after watching your videos i got scared that my bags would dry like that so i took care of them (they're second hand)
I don’t think ripstop would make much difference, since it’s designed with a heavy thread every so often in case of a small hole, to keep it local, and small holes aren’t dangers that the insides of the bag handles face.

Wow, you are also a kind of historian on the items you work on, nice.
The wallet with the handle was BEAUTIFUL
"No help",says it all.Better get things done alone.Great job repairing all those LV's.
The close ups of your machine... my word the accuracy of your stitch pitch blows my mind! Perfect alignment and spacing. A true master!

nice touch on preserving the tag. My education in detemining LV authenticity has grown watching this channel.
Wonderful transformed collection Steve! Your work is amazing!
Dang Steve! That’s a lot of work sir. You are a hard working and talented artist and craftsman. 👍🏻 let’s continue…

Seeing a real man that can sew. Yum. Great job 😃

It worth the wait. Amazing job again Steve! So satisfying when you turn it on the right side out, that make me smile every time. Nice week-end!

I wish you were local to get my chipawa boot reworked. You do nice job
Another fantastic job Steve i could watch you work all day wish i had some of your talent
Another great video!! I continue to learn from each one. Keep the handbag videos coming. “Let’s continue”. 👍🏽

Wednesday morning 6.30am watching you repair these LV bags is setting me up for the day of work ahead of me super stunning work again Steve thanks 👍
Another top notch video with so much knowledge being passed on.
Love watching your bag restoration ❤ ❤❤it turned out beautifully 😍

You just continue to amaze me. Especially the curved end pieces. Unbelievable workmanship! You are a true craftsmen. Your dad would be so proud.
As would his brother. Both of them would be proud of him.
good job of repairing these bags.

I was thinking he was going to do that instead. Maybe because the lining is too thick or some other reason?
beautiful job. you really have to find someone to help you out
Ever consider adding a nylon reinforcement to the Keepall leather strap where they notoriously fold and crack when the bag isn’t properly stored?
“Good things come to those that wait”. How much time do you figure you put into working on these items? Beautiful work, and I thought sewing on material was challenging at times!
A few days at least
Hello Steve 🙋🏽. I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving ‼️😊. You've really got your hands full today ‼️😃.
You look very tired. Maybe a good couple of days off would be nice 🙂

No help. I hear that. That would be a great trade to learn, but nobody wants to work. I'm in the same boat ⛵
I know, I thank everyday for my cobbler but he's starting to cut back.
9:58 and how can we distinguish painted leather from plain old natural ones
Great craftsmanship Steve 🥰👏👏👏👏👍🔨🔨🔨🔨🍺☕️☕️
What do you think the bill was to rebuild those bags? Great work doesn't come cheep.

You're amazing Steveroo...! Love this...! GG...IN
Which takes longer, the actual work or the editing of the video?
The work
Great stuff El Stevo! Looking at a lot of this LV stuff make you think the quality isn't all it could be!!
You have to remember that most are vintage bags, everything wears out
Do you have a video of an LV Neverfull side cinch straps being fixed you could link me?
I could watch a whole hour of you sewing * hint hint * 🙄 😉

Can you recommend a US made leather wallet or card holder/ money clip ?
Beautiful work, Steve. @Bedo's how do you get the date code in there and how do you get the Lv stamp on the tab? Is it a hot stamp custom made for you?
Yes and yes
Can I know the mixing ratio of Louis Vuitton's leather color?

how is this monogram canvas so durable, Holds so much better than leather.
seems like every other pu leather is very weak.
What is your sewing machine ?
Hi Steve. What type of nylon are you using as reinforcement? Is it a ripstop nylon?
It’s like a nylon ribbon but a heavier material
I don’t think ripstop would make much difference, since it’s designed with a heavy thread every so often in case of a small hole, to keep it local, and small holes aren’t dangers that the insides of the bag handles face.
With the movie House of Gucci out I wonder if you have any vids of you working on any of their bags or loafers?
Stay tuned

What size yellow thread are you using?
Artist 🎨
Damn, Steve. When your sewing machine has a rubber belt, yeah, that's heavy duty, Bruh!
How do I get a quote. Your work is excellent!
Your Adler is a big block of sewing machines!
I noticed that you didn't backstitch much. How did you lock the ends of the stiches?
I believe he ties knots with the end of the threads
