Thank you for making this video! I wanted to understand what the inside of my HS8s may looks like but I was apprehensive to take them apart and look inside.
Apart from the amazing NS1000Ms, I have a pair of HS7 with HS8S subs and they all sound incredible, Yamaha is the only company who make musical instruments and the equipment to recreate those instruments.
Don't know what's wrong with one of my hs50m....it makes a loud noise and then goes off...after some time , it works fine and then the cycle starts all over ...
they are only good for mids and highs, they are not good for bass...they have very high mechanical distortions in bass due to the chassis without ventilation holes

@@Techscrews do they magnetic shielded from orginal manufactur or it must be added manually?
hs50m has magnetic shielding, this was removed in hs5 for improved bass response@@bolulembut1132
The whole new HS series is Super-Unshielded. You can hear interferece from wifi bluetooth mouth and everything. Still good monitors though

@jimmio3727 what the f..k the reference?! On the yamaha HS, it's a cheap chinese speaker for 2 dollars :))
