@@lj8440 I actually don't have insurance so I'm paying everything out of pocket atm. For me it's affordable, and I think it depends on where you get it. I use to get my testosterone at Walgreens and that was expensive. I now get mine at the Walmart pharmacy and it's super cheap. My doctor can also find cheaper options too.
Thank you, and I'm glad this video was something different for you! I did add a lot of personal things because I wanted to show people that no matter what you're going through or what you've been through, you don't have to give up. ❤
Dude, what an inspiration! I'm just past 2 months and in a very frustrating time... changes, but not really? Coming out at work but they're not really getting it... Moody and pimply... annoyed at myself having known this all my life and waiting till 54 to start... oy! A 54 year old going thru puberty! If I can just get thru the first year, I think my outlook will be much better... Thanks for a great video!
I felt that way when I was 2 to 5 months on T! I thought there wasn't any changes happening, but when I went back and looked at photos and listened through voice timelines, I noticed a lot of changes! If you haven't done this already, I really think documenting your transition is very important because it helps you know what has changed! Also, I know everyone's transition won't be the same for everyone, but when I thought changes weren't happening, after 5 months in, that's when everything just hit me and I was changing fast! You're still early with your transition. Give it some time and you'll see some amazing changes for sure. 😁 When I came out to my work, I had a few people who didn't understand it, and yes of course mostly everyone misgendered me. As much as it sucks, when you give it time, and they see how much you've changed, they will learn and grow with you. One last thing, I believe testosterone has no time limit! I think it's amazing that you started regardless of your age. You've found yourself, and now you're taking that step for your own happiness and there's no shame in that at all! Happiness has no time limit, and you deserve to be happy. ❤ Thank you for your comment, and I wish you luck with your journey! 😊❤
This has really helped me. 22years forced fem and I am finally comfortable admitting that I'm ftm trans and the whole process seems so achievable now. You look great, man, and congrats on becoming who you were meant to be. I hope I'm able to get there one day, too.
This honestly makes me really happy. What makes me happy the most is that you've found yourself, and that you're willing to make a huge step in your life in order for you to be happy and to be your most authentic self. I believe anything is achievable, and the only thing that would ever hold you back is yourself. You're going to get there one day. It's inevitable. Just stay strong and keep pushing forward. ✊ Thank you so much for watching my video. I'm very thankful for that. ❤ Best of luck, and take care my friend. 😊
"Thank you" is by far the understatement of the year. Just don´t know what else to say. You told my story in a way I never could have done myself. So. Thank you!
So happy for you, never be ashamed of yourself. You've gone through so much and you have come so far! I'm honestly in shock because transitioning takes A LOT A LOT of courage. If it makes you feel like yourself at the end of the day, there's nothing to be ashamed of. Stay strong soldier, you can do it ❤️
I’m still in the military I’m waiting till I’m out so I can finally be there. I’m counting down the days and it’s flustering but inspiring knowing that I am not alone on this. All my friends are supportive, but I’m just so tired of waiting. I was to be Cyrus. I felt the connection too when I get called sir and I thought my wife didn’t understand my situation until she wrote a letter saying she saw how a light was switch when I get called sir. I be so delighted and I never get mad in fact it made me feel alive. Congratulations on your journey and I hope I can be there some day soon enough. 2022
You'll get there! I completely understand how you feel about waiting and it definitely sucks. It also may be difficult at times where you may think there's no point anymore because you've been waiting a majority of your life, but just know that you're already one step closer to where you were before just by deciding to transition for your own happiness. Continue to be strong, patient, and never give up! 💪Good things take time. 🙂 I believe in you. ❤
I think it was all based on genetics, but l use a derma roller twice a week and I take biotin supplements. Other people use a derma roller and minoxidil as well if any of those would be an option for you? Otherwise some people grow faster than others, and things take time as unfortunate as that sounds. But I have hopes for you that you can achieve it! 👊
I say this in a good way: You seem like you aged 5 years in just 1! You look your age and it looks great on you. It's half T, half confidence. Best of luck on the rest of your journey--there's so much more goodness to come ♥️
Thank you so much! 🥰❤ It definitely does make me feel better that I don't look like I'm 12 anymore 😂 I really appreciate your kind words. Best of luck to you as well! 😊
@@nickturcan4545 So sorry for the late reply! I didn't see this notification. I started testosterone when I was 22. My height didn't change I don't think, and my hands didn't change either other than them being super hairy now. 😂 I think my feet got bigger though 🤔 But I know testosterone won't change your skeletal structure unfortunately. I will always be short D;
I can't imagine what you've gone through but I am lucky to have been witness to what you have become in the short time I've known you. I've seen your grow, I've seen you change and I've seen you expand outward. You don't seem as folded into yourself as you were when you first started at work with me. I am proud of you pushing for what you believe in and what you are. I also remember you telling when you got the approval for the Testosterone shots and you were so ecstatic .
You know, when I first started working at our job, I was super scared because I didn't think anyone would accept me. I knew that some of the people had little to no knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community and I knew that some didn't understand it. I thought that maybe this isn't a place that's going to make me feel comfortable. Throughout the year of working with you guys, I realized that I was wrong. Not only have you guys watched me transition, but I've watched everyone's as well. To see you and others hearts and minds open up, and watching you guys grow to have a willingness to learn more, is honestly the greatest thing I've seen. That's exactly what I want to see in this world, and that's exactly what I'd continue to live for. Thank you Levi!
Everything, everything you said resonated with me. I feel so proud of you because I understand, I find your honesty and courage inspiring. I come from a chaoic childhood, and while I don't rule out its influences on my life, I have always felt the way I do. I personally start T in 3 days and I feel like I'm able to breath without drowning for the first time in a very long time. Thank you so very much for sharing this, it means the world to me and likely many others.
Wow, thank you so much for your comment!! ❤ It makes me really happy to know I'm able to inspire others, and that's exactly what I hope to continue to do. Life is really hard for us, and I want people to know through the message in my video, that no matter what you're going through or what you've been through, you don't have to give up! You have every right to keep moving forward, and you should definitely do it for your own happiness. Don't let society define who you are. Congratulations for starting hormones!! That makes me incredibly happy for you, especially knowing that you took this step for your own happiness. I hope life brings you wonderful things with your journey because you're an amazing human being. ❤🌈 Thank you again!
That was truly one of the most motivational videos I've had the pleasure of seeing. I've watched more transition videos than I can count, and yet they never get old. I feel horrible that you went through so much as a kid. I'm so sorry for the losses of your parents. I'm certain they would be so happy to see you living your truth. Your story has made my life feel like a walk in the park. You are so incredibly strong and I hope this isn't weird to say because I don't know you, but I'm so proud that you've made it so far. I'm familiar with feeling drowned in hopelessness and losing the will to live. It isn't easy, but you have proven that anything is possible. I'm just about 8 months on T and my life has already changed so drastically. I might make a video about my story so I can hopefully make a difference in even a single person's life and help reinforce that there's always light at the end of the tunnel when you look hard enough. It's so important that we continue supporting people in the LGBTQ+ community and reinforce that they're never alone. Thanks again for sharing your story :)
I really appreciate your kind words Jaimie!!! It means a lot to me. ❤ It's incredible that my video help inspire you and hopefully many others. I watched so many transition videos as well, and the 1st one I ever watched actually helped me discover who I am. Making transition videos or documenting your progression in my opinion is super helpful to not only see your changes, but to see others perspective of us change as well for the better. I think it's a great thing to do, and I definitely think you should make a video as well!! I'll watch it for sure! Keep me posted. 😁 Times have been really rough for sure, and there were many times I wanted to give up. No matter what you're going through or what you've been through, I believe that you can make a tremendous impact on the world if you keep going and to never give up. I say that to myself all the time, and in those moments when I thought I could just end my life, those few words not only helped me keep moving forward, but it helped others as well. I believe everyone can help inspire/motivate others regardless of how tragic someone's story is. Everyone's life is different and I don't want to compare my life to someone else's because different events or situations affect people in different ways. I'm glad to know you got the message in my video about not giving up, and I am super happy that you want to motivate others! Also, I think you're already making a difference just by your comment. 😉 Thank you again, and I am super excited for you!! 😃😁😊❤🌈
Thank you so much! 😁 I remember being in your position and having those same exact feelings. It definitely sucks for sure...But you just have to keep going! There were plenty of times I could of given up, but I just kept going and in the end, the wait was so worth it! It might seem like a slow process now, but quitting won't speed it up. You will definitely get there! Good things take time. I believe in you. I wish you the best in your journey! 😊❤
Wonderful! Your video is a masterpiece, I think! It's so touching, soulful and beautiful! My heart was aching and my eyes were crying during this short documentary... I have recently realized that I feel the same after analyzing my oddities, problems and depression. So, I was afraid of the truth about me and I didn't know what to do, but you helped me by instilling hope in me and showing by your example that nothing is impossible! Thank you! You are sun!
Thank you so much for this message! ❤ This makes me smile so much and it's truly amazing that I'm able to help inspire/encourage others. What's even more amazing is that you've found yourself. I'm glad you got the message in my video because I believe anything is possible. You're the only one who's going to hold yourself back, so be strong and never give up! You deserve to be happy. 😊 💕
I’ve been on t for 4 and a half months and before I started t , I came out to my family and I told them I was going to start taking t they tried to talk me out of it that’s when I had to just cut them out of my life because I was so sick of how they treated me and disrespected me and my choices my entire life
Sometimes people aren't meant to be in your life and that's okay. You'll know who truly cares about you and who are always there supporting you. Transitioning for me felt like burning every bridge, but I now know who's really meant to be in my life. I'm glad you found whats best for you by cutting out those who are toxic. Transitioning is challenging for some and you definitely don't need society trying to define who you are. You know your worth. Continue to be strong, and do what's best for you and only you! Keep pushing forward 💪💕
Wow. Thank you so much for sharing your journey of transition and encouragement. I'm still in the closet/questioning my gender (FTM) and I am in the beginning stages of figuring everything out. I so relate to a lot of your points about feeling different when I was young, middle school sucked, always felt off or never fit in, etc. Felt the euphoria of cutting my hair short and starting to have masculine gender expression. I love it and would not go back to "being a girl" but society stills sees me as female (pre-everything) and I don't want to be presenting that way. Thank you for making this video. Thank you for having the courage to be happy and do what you need to do to change and be your authentic self. Much love and here's to a great year of 2021.
Well thank you for watching it and thank you so much for your kind words. 🥰 It definitely sucks for sure in the beginning stages as you mentioned and you start to question things about who you are or what you should do. It puts you in a tailspin you know? I was like that for a while. But eventually you'll start to learn more things about yourself like what makes you happy and what makes you uncomfortable. During these stages you may find that there are going to be many things that make you uncomfortable, but it's those things that help us figure out who we are. But to even be where you are right now, and to have those thoughts/questions, I think you've already come a long way. I don't think a lot of people realize how much strength it takes to pull your own self out of a dark place mentally. It takes courage to do that, and I believe you're already exceeding that tremendously. You've come so far! You have a lot to be proud of and every reason to keep moving forward. 💪 Much love to you as well, and thank you again. 💕
I commented earlier on, and I'm still jealous of your facial hair! I'm just over 6 months and my hair is coming in mostly fluffy and snow white lol... considering I'm 55 and graying like hell, I guess it's to be expected! I will say, some strong terminal hairs are coming now, but none in the sideburns and that sucks! It's still fluffy white, invisible to the naked eye... Your vid is still inspiring and I wish you the best!
You'll get there! That's how mine started! There was so much baby hairs at first, but all those will turn terminal eventually. 🤙Congrats on being a little over 6 months on T!
I don't talk about it much but being trans for me in high school got so bad I had to be hospitalized/put into solitary confinement for trying to kill myself on more than one occasion. I dropped out without having completed my junior year. But I was able to get the help I needed, started T a bit over a year ago and getting top surgery 6 months ago really saved me. I'm going back to school soon and have many goals at 20 years old. ✌️
Congrats dude. I'm hoping to get on T soon all I have to do is make an appointment. I also have to have time to do that because I'm still in school but still congrats man. You've made it so far and you deserve it
It's kinda concerning how I have more hair on my legs, arms and overall body even without testosterone. But damn mate that beard is fine af and such classiness (my inspiration), wish you all the best from now on!
I was the same way when I wasn't on hormones! Especially my arms/wrists for sure. And my back 😬 But it was all peach fuzz lol Thank you for watching my video and thanks your kind words! It means a lot. 🥰💕
Great presentation. You speak so well, and so naturally; it's a pleasure to listen to your story. Cheers from the coastal forests of Northern California. Wishing you all the best. ~ jmdm

You're absolutely welcome, and thank you for watching it. 🙂💕 That's great news! You know yourself better than anyone, so be your most authentic self and focus on your own happiness. Best of luck my friend! 😊❤
Hello Cult! Nice video! So proud of you!! I have a few questions if you don’t mind me asking. Who did you talk to and where did you go/start to start your T? Did you have to see a therapist and if so how long does that take for you to get started? I wanna get started, but don’t know where to start or how to start..
Hey! Thank you so much and great questions! Where I live I go to a clinic that also provides hormone replacement therapy. It might be named differently for other clinics, but one of my clinics programs is called, Adult Gender and Sexual Health Program. From there I had set up an appointment and met with one of the Endocrinologists who works with a lot of transgender patients. My 1st appointment with her was the same day I got prescribed testosterone and took my 1st shot, so I didn't actually go to therapy. She did ask me all kinds of questions about myself like being transgender, gender dysphoria, and things like that. It might be different for every state/country or which clinic you go to. However, my clinic does provide therapy for transgender patients if they want it. They also provide therapists who also give you a referral to go ahead and get top surgery. For how long it takes to get prescribed I think that might also depend on where you live or which place you go to, or how long the waiting list is, and things like that. I know a lot of transgender people get started with Planned Parenthood if that helps. Or you can look up a clinic around you and call/ask if they have someone who specializes in gender care, or HRT. I hope that helps a little...
It is difficult for sure at times, but I just tell myself to keep pushing through and to never give. 💪 Thank you so much for your comment and for watching my video! 🥰💕
Videos like this make me glad I called my auntie out on her transphobic bullshit. Keep living your life and fuck anyone who says how you feel is wrong ❤
Omg you're so cute, i hope you dont take that in a demasculising way. Its not that at all your moustache just jumps around on top of your smile and its really whimsicle and cute. You seem like a really nice guy, loving the seneca crane type facial hair man. Keep going strong

Hello! Your story is absolutely amazing, as well as your transition, I am so proud! I was thinking about going in low dose testosterone, and I have a question for you! What is bottom growth like, what what happens during it? I hope you can respond because I am truly curious!
Hey thank you for your kind words!! ❤ 😊 Bottom growth for me was probably the 1st change I noticed the next day right after my 1st shot. It might differ for others though, but it's quite common that it'll be your 1st change and it'll continue growing up until around 6 years maybe? But the sizes aren't huge btw. It ranges from 1-2 inches I believe. Does it hurt? Not really. Right after my 1st shot, I started noticing this tingling weird sensation. It does become uncomfortable at times, especially if you wear tight boxer briefs or if you sit down it can feel strange, but it's not horrible. You actually get used to it and you won't even feel it growing. One day you'll look down and be like, "Oh shit, that's definitely bigger😂" You do need to wash it very well though lol. But be careful because it's super super sensitive. Also if someone decides to stop taking testosterone, it won't revert back to how it was before. It's one of the permanent changes of testosterone. I can't remember anything else on the top of my head, but thank you for your question! I know it may seem scary for some, and I know this because I was kind of freaked out by it, but it really isn't all that bad and it's nothing to worry about. 🙂
OMG, you're like a month younger than I am and tbh, pre-T you look so much like I (still) look rn (still pre-T but I have my first appointment for hormone therapy next march....
That's amazing!! I'm super excited for you. 🤗😁 It's crazy how much your appearance changes within a few months/year. And for me it was exciting to watch and see those changes happening. Even though I'm way past a year, I still see changes happening. I'm really happy for you! Sending positive vibes your way!! 😄😊🥰
I've been on T lil over a year and I haven't even grown a single facial hair yet😔 though my voice was already deep pre T it did get deeper and my body has changed along with downstairs growth and leg/thigh hair.
Can I encourage you to cut yourself a break. You're handsome, you have a good brain, you're creative, you have sisters who love you and you have a girlfriend who has been through alot with you. I say this because I was a very serious young person. You are much more together than I was at your age. I'm sure your parents are very proud of you. I hope you continue to share your insights, art and life with us. God bless you. I love you, don't mean to sound weird, but I do. I love you.💜😇🤠🐨
So inspiring! I am also on testosterone injections now and it has been 5 months. Do you mind sharing your protocol (dosage and frequency) thank you and congratulations!
Thats some big changes, I kinda skipped through the video cus I need to sleep but ima assume you had a high dose which can cause a lot of problems that can screw you over (not from experience but research cus I have at least another year or two till im legally allowed to start t) Although if you didn't do a large dose im baffled by how that happened
I'm amazed myself by how quickly I've changed! I've actually been on a low dose of 0.2ML weekly. My doctor regulates my levels every couple months and my levels have been consistent at a safe range for quite a while. Testosterone is amazing stuff, and it's unique in a way because not everyone will get the same results because everyones body is different and will react differently to this hormone. We should also keep in mind that our body's changes in response to hormones is more dependent on genetics and the age at which you start. Once you've achieved the male-range testosterone levels, taking higher doses won't result in faster or more dramatic changes, and there are some risks to it, but one of the main problems is taking too much testosterone will result in it converting back to estrogen.

She is super accepting of it! I think mine is still growing, but it's about an inch and half. It is different for every person, but I believe the average sizes are 1-3 inches.
I hope that parents who had/have parents of their own or parents of their partner have or had parents who molested/raped or abused in any way, DO NOT ALLOW THESE GRANDPARENTS ACCESS TO THEIR OWN CHILDREN. Visit them, but don't leave your children unaccompanied, even for a moment with your precious babies. YOU KNOW HOW DAMAGING incest and child molestation and child abuse in all its forms, is to the psyche and the personality of a child. It's effects can last a lifetime. DON'T TRUST YOUR CHILDREN TO YOUR PARENTS or partner's PARENTS who have molested/raped and abused before. EXPOSURE IS THEIR GREATEST FEAR. "You touch or hurt my child in any way, I will report you. Why did you commit to physically changing your physical appearance rather than looking into changing your views or feelings of your physical self and perhaps learning to embrace and appreciate what you had?
No, they're not. After my mom's funeral they just went to Flordia for a vacation, and then after that they never connected with my sister's and I. I haven't seen them a little over 5 years. I'm kind of scared to see them lol.

What a beautiful inspiring story of strength through self love, bro. You deserve all the happiness you've been fighting for!
Please reveal how you got so much facial hair im almost 2 years on t and mine refuses to grow.
Bro, literally, your 1 year on T transition is just amazing, like I'm just amazed, keep on and keep strong
I appreciate that, thank you! 🥰
@@successful_loser973 By the way, at what age did you started T and how did it influenced your height and hands wight?
@@nickturcan4545 So sorry for the late reply! I didn't see this notification. I started testosterone when I was 22. My height didn't change I don't think, and my hands didn't change either other than them being super hairy now. 😂 I think my feet got bigger though 🤔 But I know testosterone won't change your skeletal structure unfortunately. I will always be short D;
Bro, you have a nice beard. Your face changed so much too. Goals. :c I cant wait to transition, I seriously wish I looked more masculine.
@@successful_loser973 thank you so much! That really means a lot to me. :)

Best transition video I’ve ever seen because it covers everything
Thank you! ❤ I tried to cover most of it. More videos are yet to come! 😊
I started on T back in Feb and I absolutely loved watching this. I'm also ftm & watching this was so inspirational. Thank you for sharing.
congrats on 3 months! im hitting 2 in a couple days
Okay but why does he remind me of Zac Efron a little bit 😂 congrats dude!
Haha! I Love zac! Thank you ❤🥰
@@successful_loser973 Wow, thank you so much for the reply and encouragement. I appreciate that so much!!

Hello Cult!
@@successful_loser973 Helped a lot actually 😌👍🏼 thank you so much! Take care and God bless 👋!

5:46 owh. That hurts. My dad is 93 im afraid that happens to me too but you were so young :( im sorry mate
Thats some big changes, I kinda skipped through the video cus I need to sleep but ima assume you had a high dose which can cause a lot of problems that can screw you over (not from experience but research cus I have at least another year or two till im legally allowed to start t)
Although if you didn't do a large dose im baffled by how that happened

Did u use minoxidil for beard growth?
Nope! I did however wash my face and used a derma roller. I used the derma roller twice a week.
@@successful_loser973 can I ask what's a derma roller? And do I need one?
@@crickus5249 It's a little roller that has sterile micro needles on it. It's mainly used for skin care to help get rid of acne, I believe scars, and to basically help even out your skin. But it also helps stimulate the growth of facial hair. I got mine off Amazon.
