the autel shows a lot of good diagnostic info. like the jump in timing curve when the system anticipation of load from the ac pump which suggests the communication is in tackt. with the addition of the load test capability, really impressive. looking forward to the conclusion of the investigation.
Pull the three green fuses on top of the battery. Clean the connections and put the fuse back in. Or just replace the fuse box on top of the battery. Common failure on these cars. Great video and detective work. You Da Man!
Thank you very much Sir. for sharing your video a Volkswagen beetle because my Volkswagen beetle the fun start not working and the temperature light start on.
Nice job Tim, I found that working on my Jetta, its really hard to find fuse diagrams online, seems VW likes to hide that information so people bring it in to the dealer, they will charge you 100 dollars diagnostics, plus 50 to replace the fuse.
OK I have a 2001 tdi jetta . The ac has Always worked good until it did not lol . I not a experienced hand on vw electrical systems . So I did some u tube searching and I have a spare parts car so after finding the ac fan module I testes it to see if it has power. I also used a tester on the 3 fuses by battery . They were good . So I started pulling them one at a time and sure enough the green crusty on the blade of the fuse . I been told before test circuit under a load lol . Fixed my ac by cleaning the blades and the area it mates up to . Added a bit of oil to the blades to kill the corrosion.
Man do I love seeing your electrical diagnostic skills in use!! Best there is! Great teacher you are also. My Professor!!
You're the best Bob, THANK YOU!

Great work Tim as all ways
Appreciate that Benny!
Great video and camera work 👌
Aw dang it! Something is corroded or loose up top in that fuse box area. That's my guess.
Your guess is right, but I'm not going to tell you what, LOL!!!
