Impressive content, RHS - Royal Horticultural Society. Looking forward to your next upload from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the fantastic work! The insights on choosing the right tree for specific soil types were particularly enlightening. How do you see urban tree selection evolving with the increasing focus on climate resilience and biodiversity in city planning?

Really good choice of trees I hadn't thought of, thank you! I have a Prunus domestica 'Victoria', Sorbus aucuparia, Cordyline australis, Salix caprea and a mini willow standard tree in my relatively small garden and they are fantastic for taking up excess water and making the garden look bigger. The birds love the Sorbus for the berries and snails love nesting in between the leaves of the Cordyline.

3:13 I moved house and there is a sweetgum tree growing very near the house I moved into, it is in a gap between my gable wall and my neigbour's garden. I don't want the roots to cause an issue with my house or have any issues with my neighbours. It is my tree and I would cut it down if necessary. The tree is about 5 metres tall now.
Does anyone know if the roots will cause me problems? Many thanks.
