Good to see another video from you! Sorry the weather wasn't better for your vacation. Admire your perseverance; one of many reasons why you're so successful--kudos!
Right in my backyard!! I live on the east side of where you were fishing. Sheeps only came in a bit ago. Great old bridge to fish around. Surprised the wife and I weren't out there too. We try to go whenever we get a chance. Oregon Inlet has had some pressure on it with sheeps. If you take your boat there you will see lots of people on and around the pilings. The South West wind has been terrible making it kind of dangerous there. Hope to see you you on the water sometime.
Thanks! It was an of week for sure with the weather. I could have hit the inlet but wanted to do something different. I have eyed this bridge for years, just never pulled the trigger on it...
Jessie. How are you dealing with this TERRIBLE WEST WIND? when do you decide if it’s too windy to fish. Down here for the week with our Hobie kayaks and the wind is killing us. Even in the PA 14’s. And advise would help. Thanks!
Depends on the body of water. Down there its tough because the sounds are so wide open. Maybe try fishing the high rise bridge or manns harbor bridge. Use the land mass as a wind block and fish out as far as you can.
@@SouthernReelsFishing Well that’s our plan for tomorrow. A truck on each side of the Manns bridge depending on which way we need to get back…. Thanks!
Someone that owns a boat please give me some advise about fishing around a bridge, I trying not to get hit by another boat while fishing around a bridge. Is better around the center of the bridge or the area closer to the bank? should you line up with center of the center of bridge support column or be under the bridge?
Sometimes it is good to sit down current from the bridge and cast up into it and let you lure/jig come back with the current. Other times it is good to sit on the up current side of the bridge and let you lure/jig work it's way into the strike zone near the pilings. Sometimes you got to bump concrete to get in where they are sitting. All depends on how comfortable you are maneuvering your boat. Just watch the current around some of these bridges in OBX. You can get in trouble quick!
Have a question. Is it the you tuber that only shows the positive thumbs up? Don't see how many people do thumbs down. Not just you. Other sites I watch. Never see the amount of thumbs down for the video.
You Tube is just a business. You going on and using UA-cam is just a business. Be fair. Show your followers the thumbs down. Some people don't want to comment.
UA-cam made that change globally over the last year. I was not happy about it at all, mainly because I rarely got a thumbs down review, unlike some of the other local fishing channels in my area. But I guess there were some sensitive youtubers out there that just couldn't handle negative feedback, so here we are.....................
Love your fish “stringer”! Where can I find one of those?
Look at Diver Direct , spear fish stringer , I liked it too !
I did a solo kayak trip here today from Raleigh. I caught my 1st sheepshead and 1st striper. Good spot!
Yes those small sheep robbed me blind too last year at oregon inlet bridge, it's almost as if you have to swing before the bite else it's gone.

I need to try fishing there in January nice video and plenty of action 👍
Nice to see you on the kayak. Head on down to the CBBT for ol time sake.

Afternoon great video. I’m curious to what kayak you are using
Nice job and congrats! When do you use your softside cooler versus your stringer? ThX
Good day of fishing!
Jesse I emailed you as well but just wondering what kayak you prefer and would recommend. Thanks
What is that stringer you are using?
Where is the nearest boat ramp to that bridge?
DOPE VIDEO🎣💪🏾😎

Looks doable after 10 am on the west side of the bridge

Trial and error buddy. That’s how ya learn

New sub! Liked 🙏👏😎
Funny, what you throw back into the water would be considered a trophy for this hack fisherman! LOL

That’s a recent change UA-cam implemented. You just can’t see how many thumbs down a video has any more. On any video.
finnaly?

UA-cam took the dislikes away or at least the totals.
It's not him. It's you tube. You can't see the dislikes on ANY videos now.
