As it's set up here, you can easily do 3 laps if you manage your shifting, which also means a potential two-stopper. If you're feeling it, go for the final 3 laps final on hards. Go super easy on your entire out lap and you can more fun during the final two, with a fast lap chance on lap 7. The weather and track need to have held up reasonably well but by lap 7, it's usually acceptable. Another fun one. Thanks!
I’m not the best at saving fuel, but saying that, I feel more pressure to beat the rain and that’s probably why I’m struggling on fuelling. So many cars are needing more stops than planned because I believe I am over driving the cars to get them back to the pits to change tyres. Currently the only mandate is to win because the race is so long, but we are doing alright… it’s a less efficient grind but we are doing ok. Thanks for the input… there’s more fun to come!
@@WiddowmakerWho It's tough to make yourself do. I just got a lot better at fuel saving and have been practicing a lot. I grinded/ground a lot of cars at LM that would have been more fun if I'd understood short shifting then. Now I need to improve my tire saving and throttle control. I should have started earlier.
Excellent video/commentary as usual sir, I have done exactly the same with tyres in the past lol. Looks like I'm going to have to purchase another Cayman, even though Mr Porsche will be furious his car has a Ford engine in it lol. Excellent as usual sir, well done
My favourite was a detuned Audi '11 Le Mans car. It's a diesel, so you can do 4 laps on mix1; an easy 6 laps on mix 6. Eats the GT4 cars through the bends because it has literally x10 the downforce.
It’s a great car. A great suggestion. I’m going to use it a spa. I’m generally trying to stick to road cars first this little series but let’s get it done.
I feel your pain but I'll be more impressed when you come in during one of the last stints at a crazy Spa 1 hour and randomly elect to not get fuel. I mean, I haven't done that but I hear others have. At Le Mans too, of course. Oh, and also pass on sweet, sweet new tires after a prolonged inter stint on a drying track. Um, those people must have really hated when that happened.

@joeofoysterbay7197 ohh throttle control lol… what’s that!! I describe myself as have a digital right foot, it’s either on or off!
Congratulations, your videos and commentary are great. Keep up the good work, you're really enjoyable to watch.
Thank you. I’m having fun making them!

I’m interested to know whether the ai will pit every lap on fuel map 1
@@WiddowmakerWho I think that's a certainty sir

Love these stunner road cars, scream down lemans with ur sexyyyy commentary as a colorful backdrop.
I prefer the chorus of the engine note but hey… glad you’re enjoying it!

Spa will have to be the next grind, and I’ll do more gt1 cars there… a whole lap at 50 mph and still win.. that’s a challenge !!
In my opinion the maserati mc20 is the best car to farm this race. Hes very fast and also good to handle.
I will check it out, thank you!
Have you got a tactic for pit stops and a rough upgrade list/tune for this?
I will probably post a video for this Friday/Saturday…,
🤣🤣🤣
we have all done it
great video man 👍
I don’t normally show the mistakes… but we still won
Can you share your tune for this engine swapped cayman gt4?
It’s in the video? First 5 minutes
