Stop Loving You
Toto presents "With A Little Help From My Friends".
The performance captures one special night on November 21, 2020 when Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams and David Paich appeared with the new line-up of TOTO for a global event originating from Los Angeles, CA. Joining Lukather, Williams and Paich for this next chapter in their indelible history are new band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note / Snarky Puppy), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck). Keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) segued over continuing their tenure in the ensemble. This marks the fifteenth incarnation of the TOTO line-up in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited.

Mr. Joseph Williams, one and only man who can sing this song perfectly on earth.
Tonny was good toooooo
@@grokur9714 Yes, Mr. Tony Spinner and Mr. John James have sung this song very well too but I do love Joseph's singing!
Totally agree
Sir, Warren Ham is right behind him
Joe sings this song perfectly! I love his voice!! ❤️❤️
Joseph Williams is incredible. What a voice! Honestly his vocals have gotten better with age!
He spent three years getting g lessons on how to improve, stengthen and sustain it.
He's still incredible, however, he's dodging the chorus completely and some higher tones here and there. Still a great performance considering his age and the amount of touring these guys do
@@xanderguldie He's not singing the first half of the chorus, which is the smart move to do here. He's avoiding straining and tiring out his voice and gets to rest it and prepare for a stronger delivery on the second half. Besides he got an amazing backing vocal band with him there is no need for him to sing in the first half as the backing vocals are covering the really high vocals too. Why expend yourself unnecessarily when you need the voice to be intact for the rest of the gig?
@SAJ Music & Production First of all, it wasn't criticism. As you explained, he's looking out for his voice, which was damaged, and it took a long time for him to recover. I just wanted to point out that although he's still incredible, he can't sing as he used to be. Nor should people expect him to.
@@xanderguldie never criticed your comment I was helping clarify why Wiilliams did not sing in certain parts of the song. And I agree with everything you said was just making an addition comment.
The fact that he can still sing the chorus in the original key blows my mind.
He doesn't though; most of it is sung by the backing vocalists
@@JureJerebic on some live shows, I guess depending how tired he is as they do it towards the end, he'll either sing a bit lower in the chorus or he'll go all in.
His technique seems pretty awesome. That’s some longevity! Beautiful❤
Exactly ❤️🙏
I dont know people if you knew that Joseph Williams is the son of great composer John Williams winner of 5 Iscars 25 Granmys and on million nominatios for all kind of awards.
Always loved this song.
Joseph Williams! What?! What a voice! Wow. I’m so impressed 👏🏽
And the other great voices, sounds incredible.
Timeless singer jw..👍👍👍👍
@@marisolfraga1317 especially with this setup..... what voices....!!!
This song didn't make it in the U.S in 1987/88 because at the time Totos popularity was declining , though the songs were good "Isolation" their first album after TOTO IV flopped, and people need to be honest, a record that sold massive and garnered 6 to 8 grammys like TOTO IV and add the departure of Kimballs voice (I know how and why he was fired) It would be difficult to damn near impossible to repeat that success again, especially with a change in personnel. The Eagles were under pressure to duplicate that success following "Hotel California" with the "Long Run" and "Heart ache tonight" their fastest song to get to no.1 and the pressure to repeat still broke the band up in 1980 till 1995 "When hell freezes over" the very words they said about ever regrouping after the break up. Lukather should be grateful to still have an audience.
the sax player is a GOAT
One of the rare bands that still perform on their original key - and still deliver big time! I'm only 29 years old but I grew up with TOTO songs after playing Vice City and this brings a tear to my eye hearing Joseph and Steve perform like they've never aged! Amazing!
Omg. I grew up with Vice City, but I don’t remember Toto being there. That’s amazing!
P.S and yes, couldn’t agree more. What a spectacularly good band
@@caprise-music6722 Africa was on Emotion
One of the strongest band
Matth, keep listening to toto..... it gets better and better.
Great duet Steve and josep..en la version original canta Anderson, vocalista de Yes..en los coros..te recomiendo la version original de todas maneras!!
The reason why I am a musician today.. toto 🙌🏼♥️
me and three bandmates too
add me to the list brother! Heard them for the first when I played Vice City and Africa blew me away. I then pursued music.
FELICITACIONES..... A MIS 52 AÑOS ME ESPERA UNA GUITARRA QUE DEJO MI HIJA AL PARTIR DE CASA Y QUIZAS ES TIEMPO DE APRENDER ALGO NUEVO.....!!!!!!
It is a real shame that this song wasn't released as a single here in America. It would've not only be a hit single, but also would've helped improve the sales of "The Seventh One" album on Billboard 200. This is forever hands-down one of my top favorite songs by Toto of all time! Thank you Toto for this amazing song!
TOTO, Steve lukather, Joseph Williams, 👏🏼👏🏼
I despair when I hear most of today's tuneless, soul-less, melody-less pop-crap....then I hear Toto and I have hope again. Simply the best
I freaking love all of these old Toto songs….and I’m 21 haha. It’s just soooo much better than all this pop stuff that’s out now.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
Honestly, TOTO should have more recognition than their sudden spike with Africa, all of IV is good, Isolation has some of my most favorite songs of the band, TOTO (album) is really good and has the most of my favorites despite being their first studio album.
My favourite song of Toto. Look, the fight with "Africa" is hard, but "Stop Loving You" have a special place in my heart.
Finally someone who understands! I always get dirty looks when I place this above Africa!
I think this comment changed my mind. I will rank this song first from now on.
One of the best TOTO songs ever!
Love you all, best regards to David Paich, his's missing!
This is my favourite Toto song
David Paich pops in later in the Rosanna song. Paich hasn't been well.

Muy cierto....
This is the TOTO drum feeling that I have missed for so long. Thanks! Jeff would be happy, Robert!
YES!!! I'm not familiar with Robert, but he had some seriously big shoes to fill, and he totally held his own. Nothing but respect! He deserves a ton of credit for this!
The new members are killing it!
@@DavidDarrow Robert is quit a musician. Check Snarky Puppy.
@@cloremaemabida2018 They'er absolutely great!
What a hidden Gem for US Toto fans: one of my favorites. Performed impeccably some 30 years later! Who does this? That voice has not, yet, seen better days. Keep belting out memories!
Joseph Williams’ voice is like a great red wine, it gets better year after year! Still killing it!
Joe and Sput and all the other guy are on fire. Top notch performance.
Amazing like the original first recording on 80's.
Steve you're still No 1 in Europe! We love your Music. Joseph is just incredible!
still waiting for Straight for the Heart!
Yes, me too! It's one of my favourites 💗
Me too!!
Joseph’s back and better than ever! Now let’s talk about sput on the drums 🔥🔥🔥
Sput's approach is phantastic! Love his groove and feel. He doesn't copy, he is himself, authentic and enjoys it. Great fit! ❤🔥👍🙏
Sput is brilliant. Great find by Toto. He plays awesome. Can't wait to see him in concert
He is amazing
Simon is the one and only Percussion God in a Toto Universe ! All others are just a weak Copy

This one of my fave versions aside from their 35th at Poland. And probably the best version!!!
40 plus years, and you guys are still the best!
Amazing. Toto reborn. Great work Luke, Joe and Warren.

These guys are really fantastic musicians. Fantastic, real musicians.
They can play any type of music...
It's a cool ending with Warren Ham's saxophone performance!!
I use to wonder why some of these great early Joseph songs didn’t get airplay.
This is a Toto classic, and JW sounds like his younger self.
Underrated song and one of my fav by you guys... my growing years and memories would not be same without Toto... thank you.
Perfect voice absolutely Good
Still as good as when I was wearing out the Hydra 8 track tape some 40 years ago. Thanks for all you do guys.
Damn, you guys can flat out play!! Vocals the best, Joseph shows how it’s done👏👍
Toto always delivers more than you expect...awesome!

Joseph Williams still sounds the same. It's a good thing he still maintains his voice. Amazing
Hello how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here.
I like Toto, and not enough is said about them. Totally unique in their style and tempo 👌 😍 x
My favorite song from the band 💯💯💯
Musician communication at its finest! When each musician looks at each other, giving each other ques or waiting for the ques.
Wow, Joseph still sounds great!
I've been to see Toto a lot here in the UK but when I heard of the new line up I thought..nope ,this could be the end but having watched these new live songs I am very happy to be proved completely wrong. The harmonies sound incredibly full and the addition of the sax is awesome too. The band sounds so full and alive, I can't wait to see them again. Absolutely top notch 👌
Share, this GOAT band. Toto, I can`t stop loving you.
Awesome drummer
Toto's music is a work of art, total perfection, 👌😍thank you for existing and I love the voice of Joseph Williams🎤💙
Joseph Williams🙌🙌🙌What a VOICE!!! beyond amazing!!!!
Now if they can do a tour playing all of Fahrenheit and Seventh One back to back we'd have the ultimate tour of a lifetime!! 🙏
I think Toto is more famous in Mexico than the United States. We loved Toto since we were kids, and through the decades their music has been and still is relevant.
Warren Ham is simply the jolly of this band, he can do anything ❤
The basist looks so kind... Just smiling all the time 😊
Great performance always
This lineup is PERFECT!
Wow. Live performance with studio version quality.
That was magical. Brings me back to better days.
Amazing Amazing Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤
It's a very good idea to play this great musical songs with help of own friends!!! You are awesome Earth group!!! God bless TOTO!!!
I seem to remember this playing on Canadian radio. Great song.
This, Ladies& Gentlemen, is MUSIC IN PURE PERFECTION!
This may have been Joe’s first big hit with him on vocals. He fit in perfectly with this band. Saw them at The Gorge circa 1988 and it was the first time I heard a band sound as good live as the studio recording. Crazy talent!
I would love to hear some "Isolation" album song!
Love this song. Always gives me tingles. Joseph's vocals always get to me.
Saw all these same guys save the drummer in Lincoln, Ne. They brought the house down! It was like being back in my 80's youth. Knew EVERY song!
again..sensible..Joe pulls out of the chorus lines.... he realises his range........ bravo sir........ awesome
The guy can sing!! Totally impressed after all these years.
Hello how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here.
Absolutely love this song. And the album was/is freaking amazing. Fantastic vocals from Joseph Williams. He still got it. And Steve with that awesome guitar playing. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

The guitar genius of Mr. Steve Lukather...Wonderful
This band shows, how it's done
Awesome! And the amazing Warren Ham on sax and vocals! Love him
Hello how are you doing it’s nice meeting you here.
It's really weird with a TOTO without any Porcaro, but boy do they still sound great!
Jeff, Mike, and Steve P. So much talent in one family - and never forgetting their drummer dad! ❤️
The harmonies are farken insane!!!made me tear up a bit..bloody beautiful ❤
