I'd say Keith Carlock was the only drummer in Toto whos time feel and pocket was closest to Jeff's. Most probably because of their traditional jazz and blues background which makes them swing even when playing eight notes. Also phrasing is more delicate.

There are many versions in which "Stop Loving You" was sung by the three singers of the band Toto. Bobby Kimball was the first and with his voice as scratchy as a tiger's scratch, he gave us a memorable version; Steve Lukather also sang a "his" version of this fantastic song in the 2019 concert with Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band with Warren Ham on second vocals (I highly recommend listening to it... you won't regret it!); finally the current frontman of Toto, Mr. Joseph Williams, the magician of this band's songs who manages to make any composition fantastic with his voice as clear as the water of a mountain stream!
