I'm going to be bringing 4 red votes. I'm visiting now for potential job opportunity. First time here. I like it. Yes I'm from Washington state, but a small town graduate and blue collar worker who made a life for us with my hands. Turning 50yo this year and looking to get back to slowing it down lifestyle. I couldn't believe how easy it was driving downtown at 530. Ate at a nice grill house, walked around. Business meeting tomorrow and will drive around town and the outskirts of town more tomorrow. So far I'm impressed. Oh And I would be getting a Idaho license asap....the gun shops...oh I'm going to be a happy person shopping here if all goes well.
I was born and raised in California and it’s not the place I used to know. Please don’t blame us conservative Christians (what few there are). We are not all Newsom wannabes
I live in neither Lewiston or Coeur d 'Alene. I live way upriver, but I would much rather live in Lewiston than in wacko Coeur d 'Alene. Lewiston is the right sized town for my shopping at Costco across the river or Winco or Harbor Freight or North 40.
First time I visited was 30 years ago. I'm driving South from Pullman & all of the Sudden I see the Valley from 3,000 Feet above. It was probably the best City View I've ever experienced in my Life. I enjoyed my Visit !
I love it! As a Lewiston resident, please don't move here. Especially if you're from California, western Washington, western Oregon etc. There's nothing for you here, and unlike some other places you could move, we won't be nice or cool to you here really. Go finish ruining Montana instead.
As a California Conservative (Trump Voter)... Is this because you think everyone from Cali is a Lefty? Im sorry if the crazy Dems who voted for the shitty policies bailed to your state. and are DEMing up your lives. I work in aerospace manufacturing and most of us on the shop floors are America first RED blooded AMERICANS. I can't leave till I retire in 11 years
I am from CA and looking at this town- I am "PRO TRUMP! need a change of pace... It is a free country right ..if anything I would bring economic value to the city not a burden or pro woke garbage!
This has to be a joke, right? It's not even close between the two of them. Spokane is scenic, green and has beautiful waterfalls and rivers, plus it's just big enough to have some culture and nice restaurants. Lewiston has barren hills and barely anything to do.
@@renatofabbro5263every is beautiful until you need to walk home at night and see all the druggies i do agree though the scenery is gorgeous but washington has a way worse drug problem
Don't forget the smog from the paper factory that makes the whole town smell like a literal shit hole, had live on campus there for 5 years at LCSC and its a good college but waking up at 7am to walk to class and getting hit in the face with the smell of shit from the big compost heaps and paper factory pollution hits you right in the face is a hell of a experience, OH and don't drink the water I had to bring gallons of water from my home county every month the city water tasted so nasty.
Does the paper mill still smell bad? Heard it improved since we lived there in the '70's. Still, we met many good folks there. Life is what we make it, by God's grace & our cooperation with Him. We've lived in CA, Lewiston, & CdAlene. Life is just life, wherever we go. Faith, family, & friends make life worth living. Beautiful surroundings make it easier. Love the rivers & mountains in Idaho.
Wow! Smog my ass! Have u seen California to Lewiston? It’s far far worse and the air here is clear always! Yes there is a smell but you get use to it pretty quickly! Anyone reading this don’t listen to someone who has been here only 5 years I’ve been here my whole life!
I live in Clsrkston for a year now and we love it. Its got that old country feeling and the people are very nice in both clarkston and Lewiston. The man who did this video is just down on small town living. Dont listen to him. Its a great place to live.
I have lived in Clarkston my whole life its a great town your right on one thing there is nothing to do in town but we live with in 3 or 4 hours tops from just about anything you could want to do. Most of the people are nice and there is meth heads everywhere and cost of living isn't bad. Most people will leave you alone and let you do about anything as long as your not hurting someone else
I lived in the valley for years my ex-family still live there and are child molesters 4 have been arrested and 2 are still going thou the courts. whats sad is they should of been in jail years ago and we wouldn't have so many victims and next general of molesters.
They have some good baseball there but other than that there are a lot of rift-raft from the coast moving there to enjoy the weather. That brought the drugs and crime. Just stay in well lit areas at night.
Entertainment-wise, Moscow and Pullman have more to offer, but they are college towns. If you are a golfer, you can play golf year around in Lewiston. I remember driving down from St. Maries in January to play at the course just below the airport. I was in the Idaho Army Guard back in the 1980s based at the armory in Lewiston. I think the street was 36th. Anyway, it was/is up hill from the papermill. Rarely did we get the stench from it. How many people can remember the old, twisted route on Lewiston Hill before they built the single switchback route? The Lewiston - Clarkston area, or all of North Idaho, is for a select group of people. But at least it isn't Moses Lake Washington.
There was no crime there when I left in 1992. After I returned in 2013 , it was time for a reach out shelter. The only ones having babies were totally covered in tattoos and the companies. I worked for in the 90's moved across the river. Culdesac has meth lab and the back lot of tackle shop on 12. Good luck😊
i used to love the super china buffet, it was my family's favorite restaurant. after covid they had to cut their selection of food in half and now its sadly a shell now

I love Lewiston Idaho, and tbh it's not that bad. Everything is great. Sure, the mall is empty, but we have other stores. We always have more room for people, and the schools are amazing. And if you are worried about safety, I can assure you that people don't live here to "smoke m#th". Lewiston is amazing, and i love it here, I love the people, I love the small area, and I think if you're looking for somewhere to move, come to Lewiston!
