- Take a tour of our Lewiston lumber mill with its new state of the art large log line built in 2019. This line working in tandem with our HewSaw line makes Lewiston one of the most efficient mills in the inland northwest.
This was very well done an an enormous amount of work to produce. Great job shooting and editing. Bravo!

What a trip! I worked in this mill for 14 years and didn't recognize hardly anything in the whole first half of the video. It has changed so much!

noticed the wig wag chipcar loader not getting used. these mills nowadays rather ship chips by truck and not by rail. no wonder the chipcars are headed to the scrapyard

Can you tell us which music you used?
Great video. Would have been nice to add some text labels describing what is happening to the log and final product (ie debarking or kiln drying for 20 hours). The text would add so much for those of us who never worked at the mill.
Yes there is a lot going on at the mills and this was only meant for a high level introduction into the manufacturing floor. We will look at creating a more in-depth version later. Thank you Larry for the advice!

Why? That is quit an efficient mill. Ive worked at many and that looks to be the nicest one I have see
