Last ones I got of Amazon and all a little over 100m. Everyone I’ve brought from eBay are all 60m or less most are 50m. Wouldn’t of ever known without you making the video before. So thank you
Thanks for your advice about bubble wrap. I bought 2 rolls from Schott Packaging I was amazed they're huge compared to what I've bought before. Will definitely be buying it from there from now on. These scammers are fraudsters and should be prosecuted. Love all your videos BTW x
Thanks for the videos - I knew that the rolls had been shrinking over the years but you gave me the nudge I needed to actually measure them. I've been demanding refunds for the shortage, generally the suppliers have been refunding - those that don't get their bubble wrap returned. The woman in the post office thinks I am mad! However I'm getting a bit tired of this - took delivery of 9 rolls (& some parcel tape) from your trusted supplier this morning.
great video. I am definitely going to go down the sueing route as you guys have clearly tried everything else. I have taken 3 gambling companies to court and one person to court and won each time. I would be amazed if I couldn't win this case with all the information we have.
i must admit when you did the first bubble wrap video i was quite bored but we are talking about big money over a period of time - also a matter of principle - trade fair!
Maybe we should all try a different approach? I now buy from a trusted seller but before this, the last time I purchased from Amazon and was scammed (again) I reported it to Amazon and was fully refunded. Perhaps we should all buy from Amazon and then report and get fully refunded or the correct amount of refund. Surely then it would be costing either the company selling the bubblewrap or Amazon and they would be forced to stop? Though, to be honest, I doubt it would have any impact as "they" could afford the relatively small loss. Great video highlighting this issue.
You can quite properly argue that giving short measure allows these scam outfits to illegally compete on price with the honest suppliers. The customer is actually paying 50% extra per actual (not virtual) meter if there are only 66m on a very nominal 100m roll!
The same is true of so much of the ultra-cheap junk people buy from Temu, Aliexpress, Amazon, even Ebay, there's no effective mechanism of course to enforce honesty. If enough people return them for full refund ... or small claims court ?? Employers are the same. You commence at company X (biggest UK private company), & for the 1st 2 years, productivity requirement is *say* 20 "actions" (for fork lifting) per hour. They will then say, hey, we're expecting 25 now from everyone. And we're going to carry on pressuring remorselessly to the point of managing you out of a job - at age 55. Extortion really
@@Married2Reselling No problem. From a practical point of view, whilst it's generous of people to offer the bits & bobs of packaging, it's rare to find they're offering the type of quantities I expect you'd need
Thanks so much to everyone who contributed in getting the scam video out to the wider audience. In this video, we’re tackling some of the questions!

No problem, glad it helped.

Glad it’s starting to work out, short term pain for long term gain 👍

100 people would be around 2.5% which still isn’t enough to raise eyebrows at Amazon unfortunately.
Action fraud with do F all , my dad got scammed for thousands from a scammer and all they did was give me a reference number and did nothing.

Hugging it is pointless if it's thicker than the rip off stuff
Hugging is just a bit of fun 🤗

Trouble is they could just say that you’ve measured it wrong or that you have cut some off
It won’t be us they’d have to answer to
What a rip off,I go dumster diving for my bubble wrap
Have you tried Which magazine ?
Didn’t think this would be their realm but thank you will take a look 🙏
@@Married2Reselling yes they are big on shrinkflation.
Freegle is just a variant or another name for Freecycle network
Aah didn’t know that thanks!

We’ve got businesses that drop off, the barn is full again and I’ve now got too much 🤣🤣
