Really appreciate your honesty and we're generally interested in all the reasons why and how in all your sales. The backstory makes the channel more real. I've watched other reseller waffle, but with your content it's straight to the point with a but of explanation. Have you ever thought of doing an "ask me anything" on r/flipping on reddit. I think you'd get alot of attention and may even increase your profile. As a small reseller I think the community would really be interested in your insights about the state of the market, where you source from, using house sales/chazzers and boot fairs etc. Whether you use the auction features on eBay or if you just list a buy it now and how you chose between. Keep the content coming i really am rooting for you and im keen to learn what I should and shouldn't be looking out for.
@@neila6917 mate that’s a really nice comment! Thanks a lot!! That’s a good idea I’ve never tried Reddit I can’t lie lol, but I like the idea of a Q&A type video! I’m going to look into this now!
Fair play on selling the brace you got bills to pay Saying that there are horrible to wear I broke me back and neck 17 years ago and wore one similar to that for 6 months wasn’t comfortable at all
Mate, if you didn't take it someone else would have. As you said you have family and bills to pay like everyone else and sold for a very reasonable price. People in this world sell drugs etc, ruining people so don't feel bad about selling something that will benefit someone!
@@Connor-fz5fp cheers mate, well put! That’s what I thought if it does someone a favour and they don’t have to fork out full price! Then we’re both winning
The neck brace is probably NHS property and shouldn't have been on sale at the car boot to begin with! ;-) That said, I don't think you need to feel bad about selling it and, in your shoes, I'd only be inclined to be generous towards a prospective buyer IF they needed the brace for personal use - or for a loved one. No point gifting profit to another reseller: how gutted would you be if you saw the exact same brace selling on eBay a few weeks later for double what you sold it for!
I work for the nhs, if someone has a medical need for this then they will be supplied one anyway, so don’t feel bad, they normally just end up in landfill as Equipment services don’t collect them in time, I always pick up medical devices when I see them in charity shops, they are great sellers!!
I see where you are coming from regarding the brace i would of felt the same, don't want to be greedy but you also have mouths to feed and i would have came back with between 75-100 quid, you made some money they buyer saved from paying 300 new and he also got a good 40 quid discount from your original 150. If you really feel its playing on yer mind next time you are in the charity shop or passing the first homeless person you see give em a tenner no matter if they spend it on drink or whatever you have done a good thing and still quids in.
@@UCVintage yeah exactly both got something out of it. I paid for a homeless persons Christmas dinner in the toby carvery the other day, gotta look after each other!
I get where you're coming from, you want to help someone out but unfortunately there are some people who want a well priced item for even less, even when you've agreed a best offer price, some will use time delay tactics amongst other things. If you think your item is well priced, stick to your guns in some cases and take the offer in others, it's all down to you and it's your livelihood at the end of the day so it's got to help you. That's my view any way ☺️, you can't please everyone.
@@ThisDadFlips yeah exactly. There’s all sorts of people in the eBay world, you seem them all 😂. You can’t be everyone’s cup of tea or you’d be a mug!!
