Got here by way of “Commonwealth Picker,” who highlighted your video on his channel. Thank you for this test; I hope it brings some light to these and all bubble wrap companies . I’ve got to say, Frankie was my favorite of ya’ll!🤗
This video was awesome and now I wonder how many times I've been ripped off in the past. I'm eyeballing my tape now and wondering if each one really measures 110 meters. I bet they don't. Great job with this yall
Tape is usually short also but not as bad as the bubble wrap. With tape you have to watch what mil it is. Some claim to be the same length as others for the same or cheaper price but the quality and adhesive sucks.
This is a real service to all of us resellers out there! Thank you so much! It shows the TOTAL lack of quality control by these suppliers. Obviously, none of them MADE the bubble wrap. They are buying from others. No QC.
Got here by way of Shed Flip. Thank you and your family for your experiment. Very enlightening. I thank you for the time, money, and education about bubble wrap. I have now subscribed. See you on your next
Thanks for the information. Great Video. I ordered a roll of bubble wrap a couple of weeks ago from Uline (3/16 in x 12 in x 300 ft). They ship out of the Los Angeles area. We have been ordering from them for 2 years now. Always the same order. When we unrolled and measured the most recent roll we received, it was over 300 ft. About 312 ft. to be exact. FYI for everyone out there.
Thought I would follow up, we checked ours this morning, we order 8 300' rolls of small and 8 188' rolls of medium about every 6 weeks so this was a bit concerning seeing how far off some of these were... We offer from a local supplier and pick ours up (reduced rate for us). We measured 2 of the 300' rolls this morning they came in at 294' & 292', measured one of the 188' rolls and it came to 183'. So very happy to see those results!! Thanks again for the video. You gained a new subscriber :)
THANK YOU! I didn't know I was being shortchanged. I do now. I'll shop accordingly and forewarn the vendors from to make sure they send what I ordered and no less. What a out of the box topic for the Ebay seller UA-cam community. You're on my list for unique, real world Ebay content.
I’m so glad you included Ghalys, I wasn’t sure it was still a popular brand, It has been my go to for years but the quality and roll sizes has seemed to be going down and was considering changing brands. I’ve always wondered if you actually get what is advertised but never had the space to measure it. You earned a subscription from me.
* This was FABULOUS ! ! ~ Your results were Extremely Eye-Opening . . Thanks for taking the time & energy as well as Buying all of those rolls.. The Shortage is CRIMINAL in my estimation.. To be 25% short can Not be an accident.. Appreciate your work..
I worked for a company many years ago that made plastic sheeting and it was common practice to be up to 25% off. Some states has a weghts and measures division that is supposed to regulate and protect the consumer. Looks like thay haven't checked bubble wrap. Great video.
I did that test rolling it out over 3 years ago. The 175 ft rolls was over 50 ft short. I contacted the company they told me to ship it back at my expense and a 10 percent restocking fee would apply. Needless to say I would lose money for nothing. Just are thar one. Now I go to a few places and get their used bubble wrap. So far have not purchased any for 3 years or so. Great video.
This reminds me of a half full bag of potato chips sold by weight, expect some settling........12 ounce pound of coffee......these aren't the droids your looking for , move along............This way to the Great Egress!!!......Never give a sucker an even break.....Great job guys! You proved something I've long suspected. You try your best to cut overhead and search for the best value possible.....but it often is "just a pig in a poke" .....thank you for pointing out how these companies across the board cheat their customers and letting us know who will cheat us the least....I've used two of the ones you tested....You took action as I always wanted but never did. Mad respect!!!!!
Great video. Shed Flips sent me over. Now I’m a NEW Subscriber! I always thought we was being shorted. American Bubble Boy should give you guys free bubble wrap🎉🎉. My next order will be from American Bubble Boy. Thanks again
Thank you all for the time and money spent on this experiment. I guess for the time being, American Bubble Boy will be my bubble wrap of choice. Now I will always be suspicious of what it is that I'm actually getting. I may have to conduct some testing myself😊
@WeirdStuffOutlet Definitely. Dimensional shipping is a killer on these sorts of purchases. The machine is tempting, but that's a pretty big up-front cost that I can't justify ..... yet. Tempting, tempting.
This was the most exciting and MUCH needed video I have ever seen... LOL... Seriously though... Excellent info!!!! I'm so tired of crappy bubblewrap that runs out so fast... AND often all popped in the middle of the roll, but that's another topic! Thanks for doing this... You're a hero!!!
I had to come back and comment again... I am IN LOVE with this video!!!!!! This is bound to go fully viral. (Eggs must be really cheap where you are though. LOL)
You're awesome! Thanks for doing this video. People have talked about short rolls of bubble wrap for years but this video really proves it. Those companies clearly knew they were selling short rolls but most people can't easily check it (without a big field or the use of some math) and the people who did complain could never prove that this happens all the time. I hope this video causes a shake-up in the industry.
Thought I was saving a couple $ ordering from supply hut instead of bubble boy, now we know. Thanks for putting in the work for us. Shed Flips sent me. Subscribed
Thank you, I've often thought I've been shorted. I'm interested in the brands Lowe's, Home Depot and Walmart carries. I've been buying from American Bubble Boy exclusively for a while, makes me happy they seem to be the most honest out there so far. The others are pretty criminal and should be subject to a class action suit.
Supply Hut sucks. I will never buy from them again. I had an issue with them shorting me on packing peanuts. I contacted them and they kept responding with a nothing message. I supplied photos, & they continued to ask the same questions ignoring my request. I took me four months to get a refund. They use the same tracking number for each package. When one gets delivered they say, see it was delivered and eBay counts that as your order being delivered. I ordered the same amount from another company and when I received this I was able to see visually how much the first company shorted me. That’s the only way eBay stepped in when I sent them this picture.
*I believe you were supposed to hang on the end of the bubble wrap from a 700+foot bridge and then it would stretch out to about 700 feet give or take a few.*
I also ordered boxes and ordered 100 from a “big name” company and only received 86! I actually counted them and was surprised at how many I was shorted!
I am a new ebay seller so I have been buying bubble wrap and had no idea that they would not be sending me the amount I ordered. This is a great video and my husband and I enjoyed watching and learning from it. We are both Shed Flippers so we watch Lonnie and Candace daily. Lonnie had attached this video to his so I was able to find you. I know I will be watching more of your videos they are great.
Nice video! Thanks to shed flips for the heads-up! I'm very glad I had already switched to Bubble Boy! I have also subscribed to your channel - nice family!
Thank you for all the time, effort, and money invested in this experiment. I've definitely been shorted on bubble wrap purchased on Amazon in the past but there's really no way to prove you've been shorted unless a person takes the time and has recorded proof like you guys did here, so thank you again for that. It doesn't really surprise me these companies are doing this but it's certainly disheartening and disappointing.
THANK YOU! I have ordered from Supply Hut in the past and was shorted two whole rolls! When I tried to get some assistance from them they denied, denied, denied. It was purchased via eBay so I was able to open a case and they “unwilling” gave me a partial refund (this was in 2021). I have not ordered from them since but have ordered from another eBay seller….and I am relatively positive I was shorted there also….but I obviously did not measure it out like you did. I just want to say I appreciate you doing this…..I hope you companies take this seriously!!!! We work so hard and then get cheated by these companies??? 😢
Great comparison, glad I bought American bubble boy last time. Thanks to Lonnie from shedFlips for letting us know about you. I liked and subscribed. I hope everyone else does it to.
I'm looking at the two brand new bubble wrap rolls I just bought and shaking my head. Also, thinking of tape and wondering how many other products I regularly buy that isn't "what it says it is". The crazy thing is, I never would have even thought to "wonder" if I'm getting the length it says I am...I DEFINITELY wouldn't have thought it was short 30, 40, 50%! Thanks for taking the time and effort to bring this to everyone's attention. Looking forward to seeing what they're responses were. Subbed! 😎👍
Great video! This was one I didn't know I needed to see. Just kind of trusted that these companies have as much integrity as I do. Fortunately for me a friend of mine came to me with literal years worth of bubble wrap that he found outside a business with free marked on it. I subscribed by the way. Thanks for this video!
Video suggestion: Packing peanuts! I have ordered packing peanuts in the past and have also seen a huge difference (less peanuts now). I order 300 gallons and I really think they are doing the same thing (shorting the buyer). I ordered from supply hut and received less bags as promised and returned for money back. Then I recently ordered from zoomvalue (found out it was supply hut) and was scammed with 9 bags. I contacted them (was very upset) and told them I found out they were supply hut and have been down that road before with them. They shipped one bag of packing peanuts, but it was also small. We are getting less than what we ordered in packing peanuts too.
"I don't make bubble wrap, but maybe they measure 700 feet before they put the bubbles in it??" 😂😂 His confusion here was so funny (yet not funny at all!). Would love to at least buy you guys a coffee for doing this test that I couldn't afford to do ❤
It shouldn't matter when the bubblewrap film is measured - pre 20:27 bubble or post bubble. The bottom film is flat. Only the top film might change after making the bubbles.
Not surprised at all that Supply Hut was in last place. The last 2 times I ordered with them I had major issues. The last issue was when I needed boxes, as I was very close to running out. It took over a month to fix the issue, and the only way I did was to make a claim with EBay. They never even sent out the boxes either. I reached out to them multiple times and they kept giving me the run around. I will never do business with them again.
Thank you for this video. It's definitely been an eye opener. The sheer amount of money, us as resellers lose is shocking. Now I'm sure we'll be measuring other things like brown paper, newspaper etc.
It would be cool if you cover uline. I'm in Canada and use them, I assume they are the same company nd same bubble wrap in the states. Would be interested to know.
Very eye-opening! I sometimes wonder if my rolls are shorter - never thought they'd be this far off. Thanks to ShedFlips for letting me know about you guys! I liked and subscribed.
Thanks so much I appreciate the time & effort put into this experiment I always wondered if I was being shorted I buy from American Bubble boy but I can't afford to do the test lol so Thanks for doing it... PLEASE do a follow up video if the companies get back with you
Thank you for the time, effort, & money you spent doing this! Such a valuable service to the reseller community. When I need bubble wrap in a hurry, I sometimes grab a roll at Walmart. I wonder how theirs "measures up." (Guessing it will be short.) Plan to buy from American Bubble Boy in the future.
Wow your yard is so amazing ! But also this testing is so cool 😎. Thanks for all the info ! Watching stuff like this and your channel really helps me as a newer reseller !
Thank you so much for this information. I have always ordered the Amazon 175 feet of bubble wrap. Never thought to measure it as I just never thought they would cheat me. Very disappointed in all these companies. I have to reconsider what I buy and where from. Thank you again for doing this!
That was amazing to watch, not at all what I expected!! Thanks to Shed Flips i subscribed. I was wondering about Uline, I order boxes from them and was going to try their bubbles?
Total Legitimate Comparisons. Companies know most people won’t measure the bubble wrap so they screw the customers. You can’t trust many in this day in age, especially when it concerns money. Love your video. Could you compare the Target 3M Brand and The brand that Walmart Carries? I would love to know the results of these two.👍👍
Label roll counts and tape roll length would be nice. Really appreciated the video and I'm glad I've been ordering from American bubble boy for the last year since I started reselling.
my experience with supply hut. I've ordered straight from supply hut before and will never order again! I ordered clear resealable poly bags 500 ct. They were packaged 100 ct per bag and I received 5 bags. Upon counting each bag I was shorted about 20 per bag. I also ordered thermal shipping labels and did not receive them. It took me contacting the company several times and opening a paypal dispute case against them to get my money back for the shipping labels.
Excellent video That's really well overdue and answers a question all of us to ask ourselves - why am I running out of bubble wrap so fast I ordered 700 ft.? Appreciate you going through all the trouble and time and effort to share this with us we're going to be holding these companies more accountable in the future thanks to you.
Now I’m wondering about the bubble wrap I get at Costco. I would like to check it but will need to wait until I have a new roll. Sure glad they did this test.
I prefer the bubbles from Sams club but I can not discount the convenience of American Bubble Boy. I was relieved to see that they were at least close to the length. As for the others, the quality speaks for its self and why I don't order from them anymore. Great job on the video! Would love to see the Scotch brand compared ;)
I usually get mine from Sam's club as well, I wonder how it measures up. I've also considered American Bubble Boy as well and this makes me more comfortable in that decision.
@@Helgol I also buy mine from Sam's Club. It's the "Scotch" brand (12' x 240'). Eyeballing those rolls he was standing near... I feel pretty good that the Scotch Rolls are probably accurate or really close. Years ago I compared the Scotch brand at Sam's to uline... which is probably the most expensive way to buy. I've always justified buying at Sam's because the savings over a year's time (in my mind) paid for my membership. I think I'm going to stick to Sam's club.
Best Line of the Video... I ran Out of Yard.... roflmao. In NY the yards are big enough to hold any of those rolls...... UNRoLLED....LOL Sent to watch by Lonnie of Shed Flips, Very Helpful Vid...
Eye opening! Thanks for doing and sharing this. Curious, do they measure as 12" squares? If so, I guess we could count them (as we use them) to get our own confirmation on how much we got. Your test on video is easier to use to PROVE what you found.
Yes, The 12" perforations and the width of the rolls seemed to be accurate across the board. I did check these measurements. For the sake of the length of this video I didn't use that footage because they were all accurate. -Frank
Got here by way of “Commonwealth Picker,” who highlighted your video on his channel. Thank you for this test; I hope it brings some light to these and all bubble wrap companies .
I’ve got to say, Frankie was my favorite of ya’ll!🤗

Oh my gosh your son is ADORABLE ❤❤❤
Thank you for the video. This is blatant fraud and the parties should be held accountable.

Thank you for that wonderful job. I felt I was being shorted and now I know. 😮
bro you literally just created a class action lawsuit all by yourself!!! Good job, cant believe these companies are shorting people!!
Love that you called your wife "honey" and "my beautiful bride"
Frankie is going to remember this science experiment forever! Great job mom and dad! (And thanks for doing the hard work for the rest of us 😉)
Got here by way of Shed Flip. Thank you and your family for your experiment. Very enlightening. I thank you for the time, money, and education about bubble wrap. I have now subscribed. See you on your next

For those of you wondering about Uline bubble wrap, I tested the 250’ roll and it was a little longer than advertised - 258ft
Good to know! Thanks!
It's also possible to measure length by using a formula. Lenght = pi * (Square of Outer Diameter / 4 - Square of Inner Diameter / 4) / Thickness.
Thank you all for the time and money spent on this experiment. I guess for the time being, American Bubble Boy will be my bubble wrap of choice. Now I will always be suspicious of what it is that I'm actually getting. I may have to conduct some testing myself😊
Go for it! It's fun and surprising at the same time
@WeirdStuffOutlet You have just as good a chance being shorted on those rolls as well.
@WeirdStuffOutlet Definitely. Dimensional shipping is a killer on these sorts of purchases. The machine is tempting, but that's a pretty big up-front cost that I can't justify ..... yet. Tempting, tempting.
This by far the most informative video I’ve seen for resellers, thanks for bringing this to our attention
Wow. They just never figured someone would check them 👏🏻
I had to come back and comment again... I am IN LOVE with this video!!!!!! This is bound to go fully viral. (Eggs must be really cheap where you are though. LOL)

Thank you! Excellent video and something I never thought about till today when your video was mentioned by another UA-cam channel. Must see everyone!
I came here from ADH Dave. I was very curious about this topics.
LOVE that you guys did this video. Job well done, can't wait for the follow up video!
I ordered the same amount from another company
and when I received this I was able to see visually how much the first company shorted me. That’s the only way eBay stepped in when I sent them this picture.
Sounds about right. Wait to you see the follow up video to this. I should be dropping it soon.
he did great doing the intro to the egg drop ! tell him how good of a job i think he did
Good job and I look forward to the follow-up!!! BTW I am here via the Shed Flips referral.
*I believe you were supposed to hang on the end of the bubble wrap from a 700+foot bridge and then it would stretch out to about 700 feet give or take a few.*
Thank you for all your hard work to bring us this information. These companies have to hear from all us that are customers. Frankie was wonderful.
I also ordered boxes and ordered 100 from a “big name” company and only received 86! I actually counted them and was surprised at how many I was shorted!
This was a cool video! I'm here via the shed flips referral
I always thought my rolls went too quickly. Thanks for all the time it took make this video, it is much appreciated.
I am a new ebay seller so I have been buying bubble wrap and had no idea that they would not be sending me the amount I ordered. I have not ordered from them since but have ordered from another eBay seller….and I am relatively positive I was shorted there also….but I obviously did not measure it out like you did.
I just want to say I appreciate you doing this…..I hope you companies take this seriously!!!!

2021?! So how long has this been going on? -Frank
Thank you for running the experiment. Quite eyeopening. Brought here by Lonnie from Shed Flips. Subbed and liked :)
Great comparison, glad I bought American bubble boy last time. Thanks to Lonnie from shedFlips for letting us know about you. I liked and subscribed. I hope everyone else does it to.

Uline, Home Depot and Lowes
I’ve found sam’s club the cheapest it’s usually $15 for a roll 12”x 240” but every so often it’s $12.
Well, a 35 minute video on bubble wrap. You guys are REALLY testing me here. Wish me luck!
Came over from CWP, bravo!
"I don't make bubble wrap, but maybe they measure 700 feet before they put the bubbles in it??" 😂😂 His confusion here was so funny (yet not funny at all!). Would love to at least buy you guys a coffee for doing this test that I couldn't afford to do ❤

Do you think you can do 3inch tape and packing paper?
Thanks for the testing you did. Will look forward to your follow-up video. Makes us wonder on what else we have been shorted on! Concan Texas Flippers
Wow, this was awesome. And I am super pleased that I've been buying my bubble from ABB at this point. Thank you so much for this!

All i can say is wow! Im glad Lonnie and Cabdace told us about you. A great, eye opener for sure 😢
Great info. Thanks.
Thank you so much! I was just about to buy about $200 worth of bubble wrap and and I can tell you who I won’t go with…
You can feel safe buying from American Bubble Boy. I strayed from them once to save a couple bucks, never again.

Wow…just wow…thanks for the video
Thank you so much for this information. I have always ordered the Amazon 175 feet of bubble wrap. Never thought to measure it as I just never thought they would cheat me. Very disappointed in all these companies. I have to reconsider what I buy and where from. Thank you again for doing this!
Very interesting. Seems everyone shorts just buy how much. Kudos to you and that hard work. I be waiting for the sequel.
Thank you for this discovery information.
That was amazing to watch, not at all what I expected!! Thanks to Shed Flips i subscribed. I was wondering about Uline, I order boxes from them and was going to try their bubbles?
Great video! Go Bubble boy!!
eye opening - thanks for doing this!
Total Legitimate Comparisons. Companies know most people won’t measure the bubble wrap so they screw the customers. You can’t trust many in this day in age, especially when it concerns money. Love your video. Could you compare the Target 3M Brand and The brand that Walmart Carries? I would love to know the results of these two.👍👍
Oh my gosh! I've always wondered about this. Thank you for doing this test!
Label roll counts and tape roll length would be nice. Really appreciated the video and I'm glad I've been ordering from American bubble boy for the last year since I started reselling.
Yes- do this next
my experience with supply hut. It took me contacting the company several times and opening a paypal dispute case against them to get my money back for the shipping labels.
thanks for the hard work and investigation- you're an asset to the reselling commmunity
Thanks Brian!
Thank you for taking the time to do this video.
You're welcome! I just want other resellers to realize what they are actually receiving.
Excellent information! Thank you! I know this video was a ton of work. Id love to see another one with Scotch, Duck, Sams, & Costco !
Test Bubble Fast brand bubble wrap , boxes and tape, too.
I buy Scotch from Sam's too. I'd love to see that. Maybe a box smash test video sometime too.
Best Line of the Video... I ran Out of Yard.... roflmao. In NY the yards are big enough to hold any of those rolls...... UNRoLLED....LOL Sent to watch by Lonnie of Shed Flips, Very Helpful Vid...
Thank you for doing this. I am glad I've been using American Bubble Boy for over a year now.
Here from Shed Flips. Great video.
I wonder how my brown packing paper roll measures out!🤔
Eye opening!
-Frank
@@FJTreasures Thanks. Looking forward to the responses from the suppliers. Fun to see you getting more subscribers, too. 🙂
thanks for the heads up! looks like I have been getting scammed for years
I will have to check mine as we go through a roll a day.
Thank You for Filming this Video
Subbed! This blows my mind! Some would say these companies have opened themselves up for a class action lawsuit
I had never seen your channel. Lonnie at Shed Flips recommend. Great video so you have a new subscriber.
Love this! What I've tried from Supply Hut was pure crap.
I buy my bubble wrap from Lowe's and Walmart. I wonder how they measure up?
Great Video, Thanks For Sharing.
