You are a wonderful teacher. I really enjoyed watching you cook and loved your stories. I will remember to learn as I go, all the way to the end, when it is time to learn to let go.
Thanks Bernice for your passion and your ability to teach and pass on very important skills to our next generation. Every kid in Canada should know how to make Bannock, its part of the fabric of Canada!
Wonderful comment about (more-than-)life-long-learning 💝☘️🌿✨🌞✨🌿☘️💖, thank you very much for your message 💖. Me, too, since a long time I am a supporter of life-long and universal learning 💝☘️🌿✨🌞✨🌿☘️💖
First time m seeing wat bannock is. Us western natives call it fry bread as you were saying. Ours is larger. Any oven type bread would be cooked outside and be larger loaves. Thanks for your demonstration and your story. Enjoyed.
People all have their own likes and dislikes with making bannock. Some add oil, egg, milk, sugar, coffee whitener, salt etc. It's what your own personal preference is.

Yes you can use milk, some oil, sugar or even an egg. Everyone has their own preference. Thank you 😁
