This is so cute! Ive been teaching my 8 month old cat a few words, she already knows sit, come, and walkies (shes leash trained) so I started teaching her this today with her favorite meat and I got my poor hands clawed to death because she just gets to excited for it. We've done 2 short sessions and she's already getting the hang of it😂❤️
You can teach this trick without a clicker also. I taught my cat this in 2 days and now he does it all the time. It really helps if you have a food motivated cat.
Very useful info. My cats do know a few words, like the word 'milk' when they then get cat milk. Or tickle tummy, and they roll over for their tummy to be scratched
This video was so perfect! I subscribed! ✅ My cat straight up jumped out of bed (she was laying down cuddling) and sat in front of the tv to pay attention to what you were saying LOL its like she understood so I ordered a clicker midway and hope to begin training her soon👾

As soon as they reliably do the behavior you don’t have to use the clicker anymore. You may need to reintroduce the clicker down the road if the behavior is no longer being done with the desired criteria
When you charge the clicker(teaching the cat what the clicker is click=treat) You do it in multiple sessions right and then tomorrow you finally do a behavior you're trying to teach them or is it okay if you charge the clickee and then later you teach them the behaviour you wanna teach them now cause they know what the clicker is now?
This will vary for every animal. I recommend doing the reinforcing that clicker for a few days first. However if your cat is really catching on quickly, you can progress as fast as your able

Haha poor kitty deceived into submission for a simple treat…..excellent!!! 🧐😄😻😸
A tortured life 😹
If I don't have a clicker, can I just make a clicking noise with my mouth? lol
My cat is food motivated but dosent want to use its paw to tap the treat, instead he uses his mouth but if he cant reach it he gives up and leaves😅
How come my cat refuse to tauch my hand? I have the treats in my hand but when I put my hand high, my cat crounchs down, why?
Nice video..nova is cute.. Gonna try this, please make a video of one tip a week atleast.
Thanks for watching. I will try my best 😊

If you don't have a clicker u can say good jop every time they do the right move but it's a bit hard
Can I ask when is the right time to stop using the clicker with a trick? What are the steps to phase it out? Thank you!

@@badcatfamily Thank you!
When do you start training a kitten?
As soon as they are weaned from milk. So super young! And even old cats can learn if if they haven’t before. Have fun 😊
My kitten learned how to sit when she was 2 months old!

@@badcatfamily Thank you so much!
Can a very old old cat can learn high5 ? Like a 4 year old cat
They can 100% learn. It will be so much fun!
4 years old is definitely not 'very old' for a cat LMAO. Some live into their 20's!
Look my cats are aggressive if I give them a treat I will lose my hand I am a beginner I don't know nothing about it
Does this girl come with the clicker tool?
She is here to teach you not to leave this uncomfortable comment
