"Grow don't hunt" is a business truism for a reason.
@@Mister-Thirteen Eh, I don’t know about that, the comic industry in particular is actually, arguably, a good example of something that disproves that truism. The Comic book industry was brought back from the brink of death, not by anything the comics themselves did, but because they hunted for an additional demographic and found one in film. As of now, comic books are doing better than they have in literal decades. Like we’re talking since the 70s and 80s here. There’s a reason it’s called a truism and not truth, sure there’s a reason for it, but it sure isn’t absolute. I think Rogal would be the most interesting to bring back, as I think he'd have the strongest reaction to the current Imperium, especially with Guilliman in charge.
nah Sanguinius returning would be the most interesting. Horus's soul was not completely destroyed. While Horus was in the warp, each of the chaos gods took a shard of Horus' soul. Each of them has these shards even now. The shard that Khorne has must fight for eternity with warriors of different times. The shard that Tzeentch has must wander through the crystal labyrinth in order to find an exit. I have no idea what happens to the shards that Slannesh and Nurgel have. And each of these shards thinks that he is the real Horus.
@Karol thats just a fan theory its not canon We will have to wait until the new Siege of Terra series is complete to see if they changed the lore or not but as it currently stands his soul was destroyed by the Emperor
@@Ginrikuzuma This is not a theory, it is a fact After the fight with Leman Russ, Horus was hit hard and fell into a coma or unconscious . I recently had a theory that if the Imperium discovered(if they haven't already) Isha, they could go on a crusade to the realm of Nurgle, bring her back and make her grant the Emperor new flesh, as well as bring back Sanguinius.... I WAS going to write a story but i've only known 40k for around 3yrs now, and didn't want to get retconned. So yeah just an interesting idea.
There would be complication as Isha is an eldar god, so considering the imperium being very xenophobic, yeah. But otherwise that sounds like a very good story to be made
there is only one problem, if i remember correctly, you need also the true name of Big E to resurect him. i think valdor was in search for this. so we have to wait for Vlador and russ to return.
Sanguinor pointed at something more higher being when it appeared before Dante.. the higher being was Sanguinius who comforted Dante. Sanguinor is probably another little shard of sangy. Primarch's souls are too op, probably contains many shards. Like magnus's souls did split up. Every shard contains different personalities. I hope in future, emperor revives angron with his sympathetic shard intact.
Yeah we need some better treatment for our angry boi, even if it's just for a shard of his soul. Angron's greatest asset as a Primarch is his high level of empathy, even higher than his most caring brothers. The emperor could've made great use of Angron if he didn't 'sperg out and refuse to remove the butcher's nails.
@@bored_boar How did the Emperor feel that it was okay to _not_ chuck Angry Boi into a stasis capsule until the nails could be removed? He's the _friggin'_ Emperor! @@anthonylamonica8301 they were running out of time. For some reason (probably Tyranids/pysker rampant), They had to finish the crusade and start building webway as soon as possible. They used angron as like 'use whatever you have in the hand at this moment' kinda situation.
@@bored_boar The bigger issue wasn’t that it couldn’t be done, it couldn’t be done without quite possibly killing him and it’s made pretty clear even in the thing you’re referring to, resurrecting a Primarch isn’t a fast process. It probably takes a great deal of time and the undivided attention of the Emperor. Something they simply couldn’t afford (personally, I’d have tried to remove the nails anyways, because like… I’d argue that a dead Primarch would be better, long term, than Angron was, but either way)
There's actually a bit of speculation that "Alpharius" is trying to find "Omegon"'s soul half to complete himself, and that he is, in the meantime some variety of loyalist demon prince either mutated into some kind of half hydra half man or something more based in quantum uncertainty "and yet Alpharius dies, and yet Alpharius lives"
I had never heard of this minor warp god theory. I suppose it makes sense. I had wondered how the Emperor made his son's souls. I figured they just generated the normal way, as the bodies of his son's took form. But honestly, yeah that makes a lot of sense. There are probably lots of minor god like warp beings. They can't all be horrid monsters that wanna farm mortal souls.
Considering that the Chaos gods said several times the primarchs are their "Children" I would say they souls came from daemon princes, big E beat them and purge the chaos from their souls and that would male even more sense: Vulkan (from Nurgle), Guilliman (from Khorne), Magnus (from Teenzcht) Konrad (from Slaneesh)
If Angron got revived we might see a whole new primarch as the revived clone would not have the nails and maybe he wouldn't be an abortion. (if you ignore the fact that the perfect Fulgrim clone had all his memories so the angron clone would too)
That honestly sounds like a really cool idea. Like Fulgrim obviously, Angron would probably remember what he did in the past, but now that he doesn't have the nails, how would he feel? It's a really interesting idea.
@@TheRealJG0 I also like the "power of heart/friends we made along the way" idea, but Daemon Primarch Angron really *ought* to fuck up Clone-gron, just for the grimdorks.

Angron is actually intended to be the most humble and generous among all Primarchs, given that he said no to killing his master on his home planet before the Butcher's Nails made him.

I feel like Magnus or Sanguinius are the two hardest to resurrect. Their collective shards have all taken individual identities so not only would you have to free those shards but you'd have to wipe them of those identities if you want a "Stable" primarch. Not to mention at least one shard of Magnus was completely destroyed, though ironically this was the shard that seemed to be based on the inherent indecision within Magnus, meaning that even if all the Shards were brought together he may be overall weaker but far more certain of himself. That said Magnus has found and reclaimed a number of these, meaning a substantial portion of the Warp Entity that made up the soul of Magnus could be inherently permanently corrupted by Chaos. This would also go hand in hand with how tragic GW likes to make Magnus.
Wow, now that you explain it like that I realize sangunius is even more jesus than before. The dante, the mephiston, the sanguinor, is essentially the father, the son, the holy ghost.
Hey Majorkill! I love your channel and learned so much about Warhammer. One part that escapes me is the imperial navy and after watching angels of death really appreciate Thier role. I was wondering if you could explain the imperial navy or what ships are in it?
For the Lion I believe there is something deeper going on. Watchers in the dark were living on Caliban long before El'Johnsons arrival, and they were strongly anit chaos oriented. Now we have Watchers keeping Lion away from the world after his near fatal battle with chaos. Is this a form of quarantine forced on him due to him being touched by chaos during battle with luther?
While that would be cool, the Lion isn’t the right primarch to do that with. He’s in the completely incorruptible tier of primarchs with g man and Lehman. Having a known bastion of loyalty so steadfast a Keeper of secrets got tongue tied trying to get him come out the rock corrupted… it’s shit writing. Now, a loyalist Lion possessed by some crazy powerful demon could be cool.
They are probably quarentining him so chaos doesn't try to do another Horus....because without the Emperor around this time who could stand against him?
I bet The khan or Vulcan will be the brought back next. They will have the least impact on the story because they will fly off somewhere and have good table top battles. That way GW did something without really doing anything.
I just want The Khan to bring with him some unique jet bike units, because for fuck’s sake, the Dark Angels have unique jet bike units, but the legion that, in lore, pushed speed as a doctrine to it’s *absolute limits* and then had to *modify* the wargear they were given to make it go *faster* because that limit wasn’t good enough, doesn’t. Like, canonically, the White Scars have one of the most unique war doctrine of the 18 legions, and it’s not at all reflected on the tabletop outside of their chapter trait.
If fabius bile manage to resurrected an Astarte by reattaching a decapitated head why not primarchs like ferrus Manus Got to Love an Uber uber overpowered primarch

The first two, he'd destroy for being outright counterproductive and unnecessarily cruel, and the third he'd slap for not keeping the first two in line.

Alpharious/omegeon and the lion are coming back together (1 and 20) , they each have a rivals who are secretly not on the side we think they are. The lion is a fence sitting traitor, Alpharious is derpy loyalist.
It is possible if Big E use his TOO-OP-PLZ-NERF powers to find Sanguinius' soul and bring His fabulous hawkboy back to life as the Blood Angels Primarch's body is at Baal.
To me the Primarchs are the most interesting part of the 40k universe, they all have such unique and interesting characters and personalities. Plus these living demigods of war are just so fun to read about in general. I would love for them to be resurrected and see them in other kinds of conflicts working together.
There's a big headless corpse that appears with the legion of the damned... I'm pretty sure we all know what Ferris ghost is up to after the drop site massacre
Dreadnought Ferrus Cawl has been messing around with Eldar tech. Just get some Bonesingers to grow some Wraith parts, wire that into a fancy Dreddy and call the Soul Home by sacrificing a million Psykers.
I do think the next Loyalist Primarch we will see is definitely gonna be the Lion, or maybe Russ if he finds what he's looking for. Seeing what Guilliman was able to accomplish for the Imperium just by himself, I could see the Imperium becoming a real powerhouse against the forces of Chaos, Orks and Necrons with some more Primarchs running the show.
The Primarchs are some kind of warp entity, blanks can see through their auras and view their physical form directly, the custodies books have a scene like this where Gman meets with the book's sister of silence and she sees a tired old man, whereas everyone else sees a big shining angelic demigod
My fan canon is that Dorn is in an iron cage in perty’s fortress and the two have been arguing for this whole time which is why no one has seen this whole time.
Theoretically, you could revive Big Eby cloning his body, evacuate Terra, and then pull the plug on the Golden Throne. That could pull Emps into the new body. Or clone Emps, and then have a bunch of non-Chaos super Psykers do their own version of the ritual those Shamans did and make a new one.
Hey Majorkill just went back to watch your homebrew adventures and really loved them, is there a reason you didn't continue with the series? I think I recently subscribed to you so I'm new. Thanks for all the bingeable content!
I recently read some Acuff about custodes and it was mentioned somewhere that they are guarding something called "subject 11". Sadly I forgot where that was and I don't think that GW will ever do anything with it if it is true. But it could be something very interesting
I think a loyalist Konrad could happen if he was resurrected considering he didn’t see it coming while he was alive. It would completely shatter his perception of inescapable fate.
Not that long ago Games Workshop specifically stated that nearly any primarch could return except for Horus, Conrad and Sanguinis. They stated that those three will never be coming back... period.
Ferrus technically had 2 arms made of Necrodermis right? Could they maybe use some Necrons tek(Cawl would be happy to help) and create a complete Metal Ferrus
Riiiight. That is basically what the Necrons did for themselves. Wouldn't be any good. Remember, the whole "bio-transference process" basically cast out their souls. And the soul part is aparently quite important for the Primarchs.
Having another loyalist primarch pop up would be excellent (Dorn would be hilarious given his opinions of the Smurfking or the Lion as he was almost the warmaster… and it’s the Lion) as there would be a chance for others to weigh in on Robby boy’s decisions. Plus the mental image of another pre-heresy person suddenly seeing wtf became of the Imperium over the years would be amusing (and probably terrifying for any bystanders)
I’d love to see the lion, omegon, loyalist/less-chaosy magnus, Leman, and vulkan come back. I can totally see leman, humbled (or driven a little crazier) by the warp, and a freshly reformed magnus turning around to both get the emperor off the golden throne (magnus takes his place if temporarily to give him a reprieve) and leman healing him with his newly freed eldar goddess waif. Then it’s real-shit hours. The khan comes out of the webway with a dark eldar biker gang, the lion re-emerges from his nap, and omegon waits till the perfect moment to turn his loyalist guns back on chaos just for the second great crusade to commence. And a healed emperor plus his psychic boost from being worshiped like a god would probably be his most powerful form yet. Maybe even strong enough to turn and permenantly seal the failed-human-webway with a snap of his fingers, freeing magnus to fuck shit up too.
I thought sanguinious's soul was trapped on the vengeful spirit by the chaos blessing it got where everyone that died aboard the vengeful spirit got their soul stuck there as a crystal statue
Can you talk about the evidence that primarch 11 might be in the catacombs under the imperial palace. Cuz I think in the custodian codex or so it does say The 11th is there
Well, as we know with Folgrim, yes. Yes they can. Fulgrim wasn't even technically dead, and some random chuckle fuck with a stiffy for cloning managed to bring back for real pre heresy Fulgrim. If Fabius Bile could do it accidentally, then the Emperor, or someone with access to him and his research, could do it a lot more reliably.
I'm all for Ferrus Manus and Sanguinius returning to life, but it must be done right and with care, and for me, they should be the last primarchs to return, especially Sanguinius since his death was so significant and is pretty much 40k's version of Jesus.
I think Sanguinius and Konrad should remain dead. Konrad for sure. All his character and actions pointed him to his end. That Made his character so awesome.
Majorkill I am a big fan of your work and think you are absolutely amazing at this. You deserve all the praise and none of the hate. Keep up the good work you wonderful man.
I think that the warp souls theory does especially make sense because it does explain ehy certain warp entities representing real space are seemingly not around, and why the souls of the primarchs seem to act out of their own interests and not seemingly too interested in what is happening. Some want to continue their agreement they swore whilst others seem act indifferent to the loss of their mortal forms, hense why Khan's and Fulgrim's were able to do so, whilst the ones belonging to daemon primarchs probably got weakened by the chaos gods taking a munch out of them.
For Ferrus Manus to come back, Fabius Bile would create his own clone of Ferrus Manus that has the soul of the original Iron Hands Primarch behind Snakeboi Fulgrim's back and sell it to Trazyn the Infinite so that the Collector will add him alongside the Clone Fulgrim.
I'm going to save this for my Rogue Trader campaign. I think it inevitable that one of our campaigns will culminate in the resurrection of a Primarch, so this will be a useful resource.

The Shard was sure he was the real Horus who had entered the warm on Molech and was still there
I recently had a theory that if the Imperium discovered(if they haven't already) Isha, they could go on a crusade to the realm of Nurgle, bring her back and make her grant the Emperor new flesh, as well as bring back Sanguinius.... I WAS going to write a story but i've only known 40k for around 3yrs now, and didn't want to get retconned. So yeah just an interesting idea.
I would love to read that story!
There would be complication as Isha is an eldar god, so considering the imperium being very xenophobic, yeah.
But otherwise that sounds like a very good story to be made
Also retcon doesn't matter as GW never changes anything lol
there is only one problem, if i remember correctly, you need also the true name of Big E to resurect him. i think valdor was in search for this. so we have to wait for Vlador and russ to return.

It would've only taken him a year, tops, to figure out how to do it safely! And because he's the friggin' Emperor he doesn't need anybody's permission to do whatever he wants.
@@anthonylamonica8301 It would've taken him and Malcador days if they worked together. If they can bring back a dead Primarch with their warp and biomancy fuckery, then they sure as heck can remove some dark age tech implants from a Primarch's brain.
Emperor's only flaw is his lack of foresight, despite actually having the power of foresight lol
(if you ignore the fact that the perfect Fulgrim clone had all his memories so the angron clone would too)
I like this idea, who better to beat angrons ass for his misdeeds than a "how it should've gone" angron?
That honestly sounds like a really cool idea. Like Fulgrim obviously, Angron would probably remember what he did in the past, but now that he doesn't have the nails, how would he feel? It's a really interesting idea.
@@TheRealJG0 I also like the "power of heart/friends we made along the way" idea, but Daemon Primarch Angron really *ought* to fuck up Clone-gron, just for the grimdorks.

Because I think even without the nails he does not like papa smurf. And papa smurf surely doesn't like him
Angron is actually intended to be the most humble and generous among all Primarchs, given that he said no to killing his master on his home planet before the Butcher's Nails made him.

Big E got Magnus' soul back from the Indecisive Mollusk by poking him with his Flaming Golden Sword.

Hes Gordon Freeman

Oof that's a pretty rough Warhawk spoiler. Wasn't expecting that lol
I think that the warp souls theory does especially make sense because it does explain ehy certain warp entities representing real space are seemingly not around, and why the souls of the primarchs seem to act out of their own interests and not seemingly too interested in what is happening.
Some want to continue their agreement they swore whilst others seem act indifferent to the loss of their mortal forms, hense why Khan's and Fulgrim's were able to do so, whilst the ones belonging to daemon primarchs probably got weakened by the chaos gods taking a munch out of them.
plot twist: Golden throne is occupied by Alpharius
For Ferrus Manus to come back, Fabius Bile would create his own clone of Ferrus Manus that has the soul of the original Iron Hands Primarch behind Snakeboi Fulgrim's back and sell it to Trazyn the Infinite so that the Collector will add him alongside the Clone Fulgrim.
