- this video was originally going to be much more grandiose in scale, but I pared it down because doing three separate recording sessions was already stretching it, and none of them seemed to work quite like I expected in my head.

long-time deaf watcher here, the closed captioning has always been much appreciated, especially when describing sounds like seek tests and netsky beeps! thank you, and you take care as well :)
I’m not hard of hearing but I always really appreciate subtitles if I need to have my audio quieter or if I miss a few words, it saves me having to repeat sections of a video

I've been watching since i was 6 and i'm almost in my 20s, love your videos dan, the camera angle of an old pc with your voice in the background explaining viruses will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've been watching since i was 7 or so, I'm now almost 16 and doing IT classes in my school. videos like this helped me get into my interest of old PCs especially.

Listening to amazing grace played in beeps by a 20 year malware feels as wholesome as watching a cat video.
These videos always make me so happy, and you have certainly not failed to deliver with this absolute mega-pack of virus bastards wreaking all sorts of hell on your PC. I especially loved seeing Ambulance pop up, and the Jesus virus playing Ave Maria, those were very fun. DOS viruses are my favourite ones shown on your channel, they seem to be so creative with relatively limited resources (especially to someone like me, who is ten years younger than the PC you’re using for these videos, assuming you’re still using the Packard Bell listed in your FAQ).

Oh man this video was goofy. Nothing quite like getting a bunch of virus samples and just running them all and seeing what happens. A multi-part special to boot!
April Fool's idea: it starts as a normal virus video, but it's some virus that actually just done a ton of stuff in the background so it just becomes a podcast while you're just playing solitaire

As always, seeing you upload made my day. I have an important exam coming up at uni tomorrow and I'm honestly really stressed out about it but watching this video, I was able to just chill out, and witness 30 minutes of chaos. Some of the matchups were really cool, like the Jesus message coming from the Ambulance window and the war over the PC speaker haha

The subtitles are amazing as usual, and thanks for all the cute messages! I loved the video and Smudge visiting. You ever think about doing a video like this but just running viruses that have more background funny payloads? See how many things like the desktop icons running away from the cursor you can get going before it gives out or you just have to run something destructive.
that sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I'll do some digging through my old content and make a nice list of stuff to try out together for a future video

I'm not sure how long exactly I've been watching your videos but it's at least twelve years since I remember your video about Windows 95's 17th birthday. Computer viruses have always been interesting and it's nice to have some throwbacks to the past as well with the old computers and operating systems. Looking forward to see what else you might put out in the future!

I barely lived the WinXP era, neither the Win9x nor MS-DOS era, so it's always a pleasure to see these old school viruses trying to mess up our computer's OS. Specially the handling of those virus using diskets, mechanical keyboards and CRT monitors... man... I want to live that era 😢
