I bought this unit about ten years ago. We used it about twice a year for our home games since then. Although a good conversation piece and it does shuffle cards, it jams several times at every single game we ever had. About four years ago I called the company and they said to send it in for a rebuild for a charge of $100 plus shipping. I did. Although a little better is jams several times per sitting. BTW, we have always used the recommended Copag cards (which have been perfect and are almost like new after ten years). The unit started acting up recently so I contacted Shuffle Tech directly. They had zero interest in helping, stating that the unit was too old for service. They never even took a second to ask what was wrong. Only offering 10% off a new unit. That is freaking mind-numbingly fraudulent, in my eye. So my unit is a brick and there is a ridiculous hole in my custom made poker table. I'm sorry I ever paid my hard earned money for this way over-priced brick.
Hi Bill, Thank you for your added feedback. Sorry to hear you had issues with yours and that Shuffle Tech provided poor customer service. I have purchased 7 of these machines and never really had any trouble with them. Never had to contact Shuffle Tech.

Hi! The reason why you see some jamming of cards in the video is because this shuffler was designed to use COPAG plastic cards, and not Bicycle cards which are used in this video. If you are using COPAG cards, you get even better results :-)
Thank you for the info. They did me well as far as Bicycle decks other then the occasional jam, but that was really no big deal. I love the machines.
Is it possible to use sleeved cards on one of these? TCG players and judges would love to have at least one of these

Question, do they work for Yugioh cards? I know this sounds strange and completely random but I think some people would like to play the trading card game without shuffling the cards themselves.

Seems a lot of box & noise & time to shuffle a deck of cards. Also, if you had put in a pack of cards in set order (all suits together & in no. order etc.) you would then have been able to show us how well they were actually shuffled. Just a thought.
It is loud and some people set it in their table that would soften that noise. It does take a little time and if you are playing with two decks one would be in use while the other is being shuffled. Good thought on showing the cards after they had been shuffled, I didn't even give that a thought.
Can they be programmed to disperse cards in specific sequences?
It only has it pre programmed settings.

I am sorry, but I am really not sure. I only used standard Bicycle cards in mine.

I don''t think there was ever an update, at least that I am aware of. I have had 5 of them and they worked wonderful for me. I know there was some bad reviews on how loud they where and that they would jam every now and then. But for the cost, I personally think they are great machines.
House of Chuckles im surprised. Mine plus a few buddys of mine had many issues. I gave up on mine when it was jamming horribly, sent it in and it came back to me doing the same thing and basically popcorning cards. Owner said he found nothing wrong with it, i wasnt willing to put a hole in my table with it. Supposedly its been updated, im waiting for the email with details on the improvements
@@tim8993, I have no idea on an update. The ones I have are at least 3 to 5 years old. I can only think of one time when a single card flipped out, I am guessing that is what you mean by "popcorning". As far as jamming, the ones I have do jam every now and then and I would say easy 9 out 10 times it would fix itself with out having to reset. Honestly if I was in need of purchasing another machine I would not give it a second thought as to purchase same machine. I did purchase 5 of them, at 3 different times. I am sorry you and your buddys have had so many issues with them. I hope the company is able to get you taken care of.
how many cards can that machine comfortably shuffle?
It is made for just one deck.
But will it shuffle sleeved Magic: The Gathering cards?
I dont think it would do sleeved cards.

Does it work with plastic cards?
I am really not sure how well it will work with plastic cards. Some have said it was made for plastic cards, but that is not what I was using them for.
@@HouseofChuckles Its ok I bought it off amazon and come yesterday , it works better with plastic cards than paper ones.

I think u said u just wiped it down and havnt used it yet. But u also mention that previously when it jams u push it down to unjam it. Kind of contradicting . U seem pretty familiar with it as well even tho u just unboxed it
Sorry if that was confusing. I have had several of these and I used them a lot. But at the time of making the video, they had just been sitting around for some time gathering dust. This video is not an unboxing.

It would be if you are just using a single deck. But if you have one deck in play and one being shuffled it works great.
