A person is not justified in using force, if that person
      a) *initially provokes the use of force against himself7herself with the intent to use such force as an excuse to inflict bodily harm upon the assailant; or*
      b) is attempting to commit, is committing, or is fleeing after the commission or attempted commission of a felony (define arguable felony); or

    • @bonnielee7134

Nah, that's wouldn't have worked because the chase didn't start out that way. Imo, He was trying to say, never mind that we were acting illegal, what about him? He was trying to car jack WBryan! He was angry. He was deflecting or trying to set up that Arbery was simply being detained by "cops" and acted unruly and therefore it's his fault everything went bad. If would have just allowed himself to be detained till cops came, none of this would have ever happened. The lawyer is trying to deflect. The lawyer says, Arbery was getting violent and that WBryan was scared but then Dial shot back and said, oh, yeah, then why'd he continue chasing him?! In the original police report, Greg McM never said that he was attempting a citizens arrest. That came later from the help of his DA friend who was helping to try and cover up their shenanigans. He knew those boys were up to no good.

@user name I was making an inquiry from a meta philosophical point of view regarding the structure of the reasoning you used so we can compare and contrast the 2 scenarios. You stated "You attack someone with a gun and try to kill them, you die." So I'm asking if you believe that is justified in all cases and if not why? I'm challenging you to be more nuanced and consistent in your views, whatever they may be.

I know very well this crap exists and have heard the ignorant terms used within my life time but by older generations other than mine.
