      The victim never committed any crime to need a trial these men were racist who didn’t want a black boy in their neighborhood. They made this story up about robbers and burglaries there were 0 crimes in that neighborhood until they murdered someone. In the trial transcript they confirmed one false alarm for burglary and at sentencing the judge noted the only violent crime to occur was them killing a man for running down the street. What wasn’t shown to the jury were text of Travis saying “ I keep a shotgun in my corner if a N comes in my neighborhood”. Which we didn’t hear until the federal case started

    I will always remember a young man who went to prison for murdering a black man . He was raised to be racist by his father .
    It wasn’t until he met an older black man in prison he learned how to love and respect other races . He said, that man taught him more in prison than his father ever did .
    This is what Travis McMicheal needs .

    • @adriandennard7480

      No, he doesn't I am not God Almighty, so, I cannot judge what happens to their souls.... but these devils were so disrespectful to that young brother's life,and his surviving family. They lied, still lie, and by God, they feel in their blackened hearts that they were doing the right thing. Well, the last time I checked, you don't have to lie when you're telling the truth, and have done righteously in this land. Travis needs to talk to God Himself. No man can redeem that level of hate, but God.

    For those who can't see the obvious: the defense attorney tried to get into evidence through the private investigator that the protest outside contained guns and people chanting,and a bunch of action. When he failed, he then tried to get the judge to " agree" on record that the outside was like that. The judge is no dummy tho. Didn't happen, non of it. The lawyer wanted to establish this because he woukd then present evidence that the black juror had walked to the courthouse during trial and witnessed all this and thus was influenced and biased. All this powder-kegged when the prosecution pointed out that all that was known during voir dire and the defense attorney had questioned the jury about the hot dog trip and his praying for the family BEFORE the trial started. And just like that,the defense today were again made clowns.

    • @marbleswalker630

      I felt so sad for that juror and how he was questioned like he had done something wrong. I want to show to the McMichaels: you have a right to a jury of your peers and your peers are not necessarily going to include Klansmen as part of that jury!!!

      Sad, so sad because your post is correct and very obvious. My 1st thought was who sent the investigator.
      Say they do get a new trial-
      1. Same evidence.
      2. Same prosecutor.
      3. I don't think Travis wants to be roasted again by the prosecutor so he wouldn't get on the stand. He cross would still be evidence though.
      4. The federal conviction and evidence from it would enter the new, state trial.
      5. Just a new jury and looks like new counsel.
      I'm just spit balling here but a new trial may be worst based on their federal, hate crime conviction.

    • @mrsicc6100
      @mrsicc6100 20 днів тому

      @terriewilliams8831 New trial is extremely unlikely. They have millionaires with more than just the little hundred thousand these hillbillies got from racist supporters. Its called a system for a reason. The only way they'd get a new trial is if that had evidence, that's not a juror's testimony, that the DA submitted evidence into jury deliberations without the defense or court knowing. Other than that,no chance. The Supreme Court has said state reversal are for substantial and injurious issues. And tge three are, a biased judge, being denied an attorney , or being denied a fair and impartial jury. And that makes up less tgan 3% of country wide criminal cases getting overturn. They usually are overturn for a new law the courts want to impliment.

    • @mrsicc6100
      @mrsicc6100 20 днів тому +4

      @Natalie_TrueCrime his lawyer is a bum. He knows the issues are bullshit. But then he knows the family has a bunch of money from racist supporters. He even hit on Linda in open court," If we weren't opposing counsel in this case,I think we would make real good friends". She ignored him. Even the court was holding back a laugh. Linda made an object ,and the judge came very close to saying, it's stupid:" I'm letting it in it's. ..it's okay."

      @sharonpierce6535 bad but harmless. Courts know that people would do and pay anything to get out of prison. So the law strictly prohibits a juror from being able to impeach a verdict. Imaging serving on a jury and someone kidnaps your family member and tells you to say to the PI that you were biased; or someone offers a juror a million dollars to say to a PI they were biased. So the laws says the only thing that can impeach a verdict is outside EVIDENCE. All this praying for the family means nothing. If they cant prove he lied to a specific question during voir dire, or conducted his own investigation or brought into deliberations evidence not presented in trial,the verdict is gonna stand. This just a spectacle for the family. They have donated money,so the courts letting the lawyer perform this because its business. Legal business. The judge know the lawyers getting thousands to waste everyones time in there.

      These 3 were convicted by their peers, their peers. Sentencing was issued based on the crimes they were convicted of, per law.
      The punishment fits the crime and neither felon received taudry, slaps on the wrist in sentencing. Isn't that what justice is, seeing how these felons didn't abide by societal law, per evidence.

      It’s actually a good thing they tried everything they could, cause now they can’t appeal on ineffective counsel, which is a strong argument in several cases. Also, I think Linda and Judge Walmsley were aware that these defendants were going to appeal and were cleaning every base as the trial went on. The housekeeping was amazing throughout the whole trial. That’s why the judge listened and permitted all those longs rants by Gough and co. no matter how ridiculous they were, and then simply declined or overruled them. They are rotting in jail!!
