I went to open houses in Houston last weekend as I am planning to relocate there from Cincinnati. There some big beautiful properties there. Only drawbacks were you could pass the sugar from your kitchen window straight through to your neighbor.
Beautiful..I so miss Houston 😢...what's crazy is there are homes in Central oregon..going for $6-800,000....under 1000sqft, with next to no land...not anywhere as fine as this! HAHAHA 😄 Older manufacturered, and mobiles...Holy cows! This is a beautiful home.
It says they built it for less than $300k. It doesn't say the list price would be that. There's also no mention of how much the land under it cost or where it is in the Houston metro area.
Not my cup of tea. So glad we purchased in 2015. 3bd, 2ba, office, formal living and dining room, galley kitchen with pantry/laundry room, family room, approximately 2000 sqft. 1/2 acre of land. Brick facade. Under $100,000. 50 miles inland from myrtle Beach where average home price now is $300,000. It's an older home and needs a bit of work, but we're not in hock up to our eyeballs, and the mortgage isn't $1,000's of dollars a month.
@@jerrys27 we moved to a depressed area where there are few if any jobs, that's why we got the deal we did. Not showing off just saying that it's possible to find an affordable home if you search. Took us a year of searching and looking at 40 odd homes before we found what we did
@@tonywong303 we live a fine life. Not quite sure what you mean. We live in a nice sized home in a small town and not too far from a medium sized city. Tho we are now both retired and don't have to drive to work.
No way.. I just saw a house with this same floor plan that is 700K in towne lake community. I know it depends on the location that the house can be more expensive. But still, this one is at least 400-500K with today market

Anyone from the Midwest looking to move the Houston suburbs, get ready for a reality check. 40' foot lots (by 1/4 acres), no 3 car garages (I can't even fit normal cars in mine), The bigger the house, the bigger the lot. You can't buy a big lot and put a small house on it. All these Master Planned Developments already have certain houses for certain lots. Craftsmanship is horrible. I've never seen so much caulk in my life. BUT here are the good things...I've met so many genuinely nice people here and I love the heat!
Guys, no. I know inflation is a problem but good grief. I bought a brand new home in SC for this same price, but 2 stories, 3k sq.ft, 5 bedrooms, including living room, dining, family, breakfast room, 3 full baths, porch, patio and loft.
Three bedroom is no no good two down stair one for seniors down stair 3 up stair 5 bedroom. PEOPLE SHOULD ALWAYS DO EXTRA ROOM INCASE people want to have their elder live with them on the level floor

Yeah the lot sizes are not big. 5k sqft to maybe 7k. The developers pack them in as close as the can. That is definitely not a good thing.
This house is full of upgrades $$$$ let's see a tour of what you get for 289k. I love the space and layout.
