A lot of the other houses in the neighborhood were built pre-housing market crash of the early 2000s. They have hardwood floors and granite countertops and cost less than $500,000 back in 2006.
Totally agree. The bathrooms have a sheet of glass for a mirror and completely outdated granite countertops. But then again the house is only a million dollars . I’m in NY where a million gets you a knock down house
@@sheronbubblisious3177 Call me a fool because this home is beautiful, underpriced and Yep, I would purchase if I could afford 😢. Let's keep it 💯, so would you 😂
I can remember when the homes in this gated community were going for $300k back in 2009 was always my favorite community to drive through when I lived in Lithonia I think the primary should have been bigger overall still a nice home
Nice sized home. No shelves in the pantry, basement paint color darkens the vibe, a couple mirrors missing in bathrooms, no privacy in backyard and the closet in bedroom 5 can hold about 4 articles of clothing.
I'm a bit confused with the layout of the primary and the other room to the side. They should've made the full hall the primary and it would've felt more like $1m. The current configuration is weird and the primary suite looks tiny
The basement is my favorite part of the house. Also, I do believe the property should at least have some privacy (surrounding walls/fencing) but besides that, it's decent
Absolutely fantastic and beautiful community, I was in that area for Thanksgiving and did I get excited. I love the entire layout of this home. Now I have to work extra hard for this. I love it. 💞💞💞💞
Awesome home with endless possibilities. Loving the walkout onto the patio from the master bedroom. The 7th bedroom I would definitely use as my art studio. And yes the movie theater seals the deal. Furnishings and an awesome interior design will definitely make this house a happy home 🏠 ❤😊
$1.5M w/cheap glass doors, backsplash, floors & no backyard? The audacity. The only thing good about that home is that it's brick. To add insult to injury, the best looking area was the basement 🤦🏾♀
In my opinion, the price is good for this size for this house; I can hire someone to install a fence around the property. The basement can be used for meetings/training/parties, especially Halloween; movie theater. I can buy better lights with more lumens for a brighter experience. In California, you would pay this price for a small 3,400 square feet home. My only issue is, I would replace the glass rail on the catwalk with an actual metal or stone rail for safety.
That's a nice looking house. I'd like some of the Stone work in the living room. Or whatever that material is. However, those floors look cheap and if I was a buyer I would not even consider that house. Like the iron front door, outback could be a little spruced up for a million dollars
1 mil homes in Lithonia??? Sorry but that’s ridiculous. Nice home still ridiculously high for that area. The median income is 33k. And not even a Costco close
Interesting, but the 7th bedroom is not a bedroom, it is a bonus room. The master suite could have been designed to make way better use of that amount of space. At this price why would some of the closets and the pantry be DIY.
The house is not bad in terms of the bones but there are many negatives to this home. The biggest and most important thing is the SHYT location of Lithonia. If you live east of Atlanta, better school systems are further east in Gwinnet. This is an investment people; you have to consider resale value. The floors look like cheap vinyl, the downstairs paint says "playa" not family. The carpet is a no, and it was over-done in the wrong areas (ex: pantry).
How in THE WORLD are they calling this an "Estate" when the homes are jammed up against each other like that? No fences to separate your property from the neighbors? No Thank You. I don't even need to see inside. 🤷🏾♂️
This house has huge potential depending on who is decorating the interior. The price point for the size is not bad at all. I would lay this house out to where the outside look matches the inside.
Loved the tour of this home. Eventhough I would never be able to afford it, it was nice to have a tour. I enjoyed the music, and editing as well. I was just vibing 😂 Nice content!
Absolutely beautiful home, I love the glass on the stairway and the mud room. The white and glass cabinets in the kitchen and the quartz countertops are beautiful. I would like there to be a bit more privacy on each side. wouldn’t want to look out the windows and see the side of my neighbors house. I wish you much success in your career, thanks for sharing.
Nice house but would purchase it, yard is to small, no fence or privacy… Love the entry from Garage to house❤❤❤. Laundry room is smaller than a apartment . To many small areas for the price 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
I do like the basement, but the two glass doors. Have to go, need solid core double reinforced type. Back yard needs to be fenced. With some type of open style black fence. Then you can decide on just what hedge material to use. As to decide on which type of trees to plant. Thinking magnolia and some cherry blossoms.
A million dollar home with vinyl flooring only in Atlanta catch up with Texas luxury marble flooring counter tops and all the crown molding for 275000 in Texas and some houses have pools Atlanta has gotten above it’s self with the housing market
I don't know if this is a million-dollar home. It's kind of confusing on the main floor. The basement is nice. But for a million-dollar home why does it have regular door handles? 😮😉🤔
Beautiful home. Where does everyone live who is complaining about 1 mil being too much for this home? The average cost for a 3,000 sq ft home is $500K and is seated on less than 1/3 acre.
If you know anything about Atlanta ypu know Lithonia is hood af and your car & home insurance will be triple not to mention every gas station in the area has constant shoot-outs and drug deals. You will have to get gas and groceries far from home!!!
Why would anyone who can afford a million dollar house buy a house in Lithonia? Lithonia is one of the worst city in metro Atlanta. Bad schools, high crime rate and always something going on.
This would be one of the first steps in building up the surrounding communities. Historically, it's called gentrification, but that comes with its own set of consequences, such as displacing the less fortunate individuals already residing there. Overcrowding with apartments, cheap homes, and town houses is what contributes to the things you speak of.
Naaaaaa . That basement looked spooky with all those dark brown doors , along with that spooky music! 😳 The house just does not scream , I'm worth over a million dollars. 🤷♀️

I always wonder why houses are so large and don't have fences around them, and I bet they are not gated either. That's too much money for them houses, to eliminate privacy and safety.
I thought the house was nice, but saw some time I would want to do differently. I also wouldn't want neighbors this close. Even 1 acre lots are kinda close but this is nearly no space.
This home is beautiful and that basement sold me but let me say just one thing a million dollar home is no place for wire racks. I mean nowhere not the closet not the laundry room not anywhere.
This is a good 2nd or 3rd home if you sell your previous homes for a good price and have a substantial amount to put down. Financing the entire amount at current interest rates is not attractive at all. The fixtures and countertops do need an upgrade, they don’t seem like million dollar home fixtures, countertops or a million dollar home deck.
This home isn't worth 1M. No backyard privacy. Homes are too close together You can literally walk to your neighbors house behind you. Primary unit is very small , There are better options a short drive away in Stonecrest.
I would have to change out a few things, but there’s nothing to do about the lack of privacy. I can’t have a home of this statute, with someone within a stone’s throw, directly across street from me.
That neighborhood is beautiful. I am renting a 1 bedroom apt in Buckhead. I have lived in Atlanta for 8 years, yet I don't know anything about Lithonia. It might be time for me to explore. I plan to buy a home next year.
I didn’t realize Lithonia had those type of homes. I’m ok with the price because in Buford, that home would have been close to 1.5 million. Can’t believe how crazy the market is. But people are buying so I guess it’s there’s something out there for everyone.
Drag that home to Windermere Florida and get at least 4.5 million. Depending on which gated neighborhood you place it in. Depending on the HOA restrictions, you mite be able to do a lot to the yard. Such as an open style fence, various hedge plants and pick your own trees. Very doubtful that they would allow a privacy fence.
Beautiful house, but I agree with the consensus that a new home that's a million plus should have real hardwood flooring. At that price point, the owner deserves all of the stops.
Y’all complaining about Atlanta (where I lived on/off for nearly 20 years), and this neighborhood, take a tour of Beverly Hills off of Wilshire. These small homes are $5M plus, and you truly have no privacy. At least, you have more land than Beverly Hills juxtaposed Los Angeles 💯.
I must have my own backyard. I can't have neighbors on top of me,
For a million dollars.
Indeed.
Big facts especially considering you’ll be paying senseless property taxes forever but u only get this little ass piece of land
The house is big and spacious but the materials and finishes look like cheap builder grade materials.

Not a drop of c rown molding, standard baseboards. No this is not a million dollar home

Yes that entire room was all the primary suite. The layout is a little weird.
Getting furniture in it seems difficult with the stairs in front of the bedroom door...
Weird is good. Can't be cookie cut always.

They need to upgrade that hardwood floor for 1.5 mill
Right!!
It’s not 1.5 mil. This isn’t bad for 6800 sq. ft. It’s only a mil that you can probably talk it down lower if you were a serious buyer!!
Agreed, but it's vinyl flooring, which is standard in most new construction homes these days. It's considerably more durable than hardwood laminate.
Staircase is nice but the other finishes are not worthy of the price tag. The layout could have more consideration. Wasted space.
A lot of bang for the buck in Lithonia. But a $1MM home in Lithonia is wild.
