I actually really liked Bad Batch, but gotta say the Palpatine connection was kinda dumb. Was really hoping Mount Tantiss was related to Death Troopers and Phase 0 Dark Troopers
Why silly you. Thanks to cloning, they don't even need Omega to grow up to shove her DNA into the bloodline. Heck they'll find a way to shove someone like Darth Revan or Yoda in there if they feel like it...
I don’t understand trying to explain something the core fandom rejected. And wasn’t thought out in the first place. Total waste of resources when there is really only one way to get the fans interested again.
@@TheEdog37But it is canon, the future is now. The sequels are unfixable...period. The reason is that even with the Bad Batch being decent, Disney is still doing what Disney does best...they NEVER truly wrap up or end a storyline. Every episode of every show and/or movie gives the audience just enough story to set up the next show or movie, and no storyline ever actually ends. It's all about keeping you tuned in, while never giving the a cohesive story that resolves. They can keep giving us show after show, season after season, and Rey will still remain a horrible character.
rey is basically kathleen kennedy self inserted into star wars, i hope all know this, so long she there she not going no where, which guess be till she withered up almost on deaths door! Noticably just like female palpatine her self.
@@dbentertainment9148 kinda bs this all petty payback on Lucas and Stephen cause she was their intern got coffee and donuts and cussed her out for talking during shoots.
Omeega, by definition, CANNOT be a clone of Jango Fett. At best, she is a gentically engineered organism partly based on Jango Fett's DNA- othersise she would be male, have brown hair, and be just as useless for the M-count experiment as every other clone. The same goes for Emerie.
Please, we all KNOW Rey is the absolute perfected DNA-Force-Miracle-Born product of all the best clone research, force research and perfect harmony of Light and Dark sides. She is the single, one-and-only perfect being in all galactic history. Rey is the embodiment of EVERYONE, because everyone in star wars is related to or was once a neighbour to the MC.
Well according to Lucas, high midichlorian count was supposed to be an *indicator* of force sensitivity, not the *cause* of force sensitivity, so they've seriously screwed up there. Honestly, they need to just eat crow and reintroduce the extended universe. If they brought back in the extended universe by having Rey and Kylo feel some force anomaly calling out to them from the outer rim, they could introduce much more powerful force sensetives into the story and give Rey a way to work towards more power, as well as humble Kylo and maybe give him a redemption arc by introducing an incredibly powerful dark side force user that uses and manipulates him, showing him how horrible the dark side really is (think darth vitiates' consumption of the planet Ziost to obtain immortality and his becoming the immortal emperor of Zakuul). They could then team up (after perhaps some training montage) with a third, grey jedi style force user (new original character) and take down a universe consuming dark side entity. Heck, make it a copycat (same meaning as a copycat serial killer), hence why it can be defeated by such weak force users as kylo and rey.
@jebkerman5422 autocorrect win. Lol pretty sure we will get another orphan on a desert planet looking to find her place in the universe. Plus isn't it supposed to take place only a 100 or so years before the Skywalker saga which would put it in plaguis time line. I mean it's kinda disneys thing.
Well in Ahsoka they changed the force again now anyone can learn to use it you don't have to be special so the clones should be able to use the force if they try hard enough they have turned star wars into a joke
but that‘s not palpatines goal. He wents his full power in a working body. Even if Dathan would train his entire life he wouldn‘t be as strong as the original.
100% agree. Disney has completely ruined Star Wars. Took all of my Star Wars merch off of my man cave last year, and replaced it all with LOTR, One Piece, and DBZ merch. Such a great decision. Star Wars is a complete dumpster fire, and it’s never coming back.
Unfortunately force sensitive clones has been a thing in star wars for a very long time Can't blame Disney for that concept. *Can* blame Disney for Palpatine replacing himself with Snoke only to just reappear later anyway and trying to ??? with his apparent granddaughter Rey Palpatine who is now a skywalker
It’s gotta make us wonder why Yoda and Obi Wan even bothered waiting for Luke to grow up. Instead of letting the galaxy go to heck, Yoda or Obi Wan could’ve just created their own Jedi army from random people, to fight the empire, if anybody can learn to be a Jedi.
Well in Mando season 3 the clones of Gideon he couldn't get the clones of him to have the force and he said that it still has not been done so that means Palpatine didn't do it either so how did he survive 5 to 7 years after his death and the empire still hadn't figured it out
Always thought anybody could be a Jedi. It's a religion. If you sacrifice a normal life and learn the discipline of a tibetan monk you can be a ninja. Just with space force powers.
@@Kayoss13212 Yes, but you know the true purpose is just for Disney to say, "See? She really is a Skywalker!" Thus, continuing the Rey P'ing of Star Wars's corpse.
Also why would they keep testing random clones over and over again if they have the same DNA? I get Omega is different but why are they testing just other random standard male clones. I cant get over this plot hole.
Do Disney and SJWs know how clone works? Clearly not especially in star warsthis is a huge mess.miss. There was only six successful force-sensitive clones two was in EU forgot there name but they main characters of the canceled Battle Front 3 (Pre disney), Starkiller (Don't know Disney canceled Force Unleashed 3), Papatine, and a jedi master that became a sith that Luke fought in the EU.
Should have been a Kenobi via his relationship with Satine that she kept secret. Will have to wait for Star Wars to be sold to someone else who will bin Disney Star Wars just like Disney did the eu and be developed properly! Yes unlikely, but what other hope is there?!
I have lost confidence in disney's ability to tell star wars stories. I had hoped they would actually learn from their horrible mistakes in the fecquel movies. Trying to be optimistic I will note some of the disney stories without jedi have been good (Solo) to great (Rogue One). The fecquels are a cancer (IMHO cool cool cool for those that liked them) that are now wrecking what otherwise might be good shows worth watching. I was hopeful for High Republic, Old Republic, and Dawn of the Jedi stories since they are protected by time from the trash fecquel movies. They seem stupid though if everyone in the universe is already a jedi like sabine. I hope disney proves me wrong and sabine was an isolated mistake by writers or meddling suits that didn't understand the lore from the original trilogies. Anything past Return of the Jedi with a palpatine is a definite nope for me. Truthfully though, anything that is just an apologetics story for the horrible fecquels is a nope for me. I've never watched disney plus because the only thing watchable on disney plus is Andor and The Clone Wars. I've already watched The Clone Wars before disney plus and Andor isn't finished yet. Rey and Finn could have been really great new Star Wars characters. Instead they are just sad memes which is what new star warts is to me.
Two big mistakes Lucas made that destroyed star Wars: 1. he introduced the "midiclorians" bullshit concept that completely destroyed the mysticism of the Force that made SW unique and full of interesting mysteries. 2. he sold star Wars to Diznuts. Diznutz introduced the concept that ANYONE can be a jedi thus if anyone is a jedi the no one is.
Maybe the real Palpatine was the friends we made along the way.
Rey sucks. Nothing against Daisy Ridley (loved her in Murder on the Orient Express) but no amount of retcon can make me like Rey.
She was good in Chaos Walking, though it was kind of a forgettable film in terms of story
I actually really liked Bad Batch, but gotta say the Palpatine connection was kinda dumb. Was really hoping Mount Tantiss was related to Death Troopers and Phase 0 Dark Troopers
Somehow, disney made it stupider.
I now avoid the "why did x do y" star wars lore videos for this exact reason
There really isn't anything they can do to make Rey better.
Because her story inevitably ruins Luke’s
Great. Now I'm rooting for the Empire to kill off Omega before she can grow up. Thanks Disney.
