  • The year is 2096, you pull up UA-cam on your iPhone 98 and boom, there I am riding and reviewing motorcycles. But for real, this Harley Davidson Ultra Limited was one sweet ride. It left visible burn marks on my right leg but otherwise was a great ride. What a sound too.

Awesome video and your correct, Harley Davidsons are heavy and they will cook your leg. However, in the winter when it’s quite cold out, that heat off the engine feels wonderful. I still want to call you Duke of Austin. 😎

I have a 2019 Triglide Ultra 114 and it will cook your right leg in the summer time. The rear cylinder de-activation does absolutely nothing to cool the engine (in my opinion)

If you had angled the deflectors on the fairing to guide air up to your body and opened the lower fairing vents you would not have been hot

The lower fairings have vents you can open to keep your legs cooler.

Harley has been around for a long time now, no excuse for the engine to be that hot. Vulcan vaquero is the only way to go

Hey Duke, love the videos. Talking touring bikes can you do a test ride on a BMW r1250rt ?

My Dad used to almost always wore chaps as a measure of safety. But if your leg is burning then that’s what the front foot pegs are for, I think. Good video 👍👍

Try a Road Glide for better airflow and open the lower fairings.

That heat issue sounds pretty unbearable. Seems like a well refined machine apart from that.
Also, what gloves do you wear? They look good

If I had a Harley Davidson ultra glide classic! I’d install a Cummins L10 Diesel engine!😎

Your stuffy jacket is called a Dianese air in the words listing.
I don't want a burning leg. Can you explain how to get a highway bike that doesn't burn your leg? Is it a V-twin thing? Are there V-twins that are water-cooled? Will a Honda flat burn your leg? I have an unceremoniously air cooled parallel twin teeny tiny motor and it has a detectable heat in the summer, no more..You had better review all of these enormous hogs for us. Does Harley build bikes now that are not V-twin? I know the V'Rod had a radiator. I'm staying tuned.

Martin D Harley doesn’t build a bike that’s not a v-twin. The leg heat is a tribute of an air cooled engine. All bikes I’ve ever owned are air cooled, you kinda get use to it. That being said in the heat of the summer you want to stay moving sitting in traffic is not a good thing for an air cooled bike. No air movement no engine cooling so they will over heat. As far as a liquid cooled v twin I can’t answer your question on that I don’t know much about other manufacturers although Indian just released a fixed fairing bagger called the challenger with a power house of a water cooled v twin that I would love to ride. Sorry I’m not more help lol I discovered the duke in my efforts to learn about other bikes and manufacturers

When you pass another rider who is NOT on a harley be sure to stick your nose up in the air and not wave.

RJ only dumbasses who think Harley is king do that. As long as your on 2 wheels it shouldnt matter I’ll wave if your on a moped lol
