If you’re talking about the ecoboost I don’t think so. The 10 speed auto is ridiculous efficient. I have 14 ecoboost and it makes 440whp and over 500 torque on e50. It sounds like shit tho because it’s an ecoboost.
@@RadDadisRad the eco boost would likely win by 2 or 3 lengths in the 1/4. Stock coyote would be closer. But just like every ford v8, it needs a turbo lol.
A f-150 limited those yrs come with the High Output Ecoboost.

Huge fan of the channel, love the truck. You’ve got enough horsepower to run a 2.5-3inch exhaust in the pipes it would most likely give you quite a bit more power. Anyways love the truck keep grinding brother !

Nice video. I have a 50th Anniversary Edition 1998 F150 with the 4.6L V8. Has 377,000 miles I put on the original engine and still not burning oil. Looking to add some power, if/when I do a rebuild and looking at ideas to use the original powerhouse, as opposed to a coyote swap or something else.
BTW - those key fabs can be had at AutoZone for a reasonable fee.
My 01 supercrew has 280k miles driven daily I just change the oil every couple months can't beat it

I’m wanting to do this but I got the 99 4.2 v6 5 speed reg cab 4x4. I’d love to find somebody with an extra engine and build it for a turbo set up. Hell of a truck! Makes me miss my old supercrew.

Yes, it does require an EGR delete.
I'm anxious to see how it will perform against a new 5.0 or 3.5 EB.
I have a 3.5 EcoBoost in mind. Just need to find a time to do it

I wanna know how you're keeping the spark plugs from blowing out of the head ? My stock 02 5.4 currently has two plugs blown out and its just bone stock !
Because someone is tightening them to much on spark plug replacement.
Those torque settings are important 👌
@@carlmw9460 Do you overtighten them or have them at the book settings? I’ve heard many things like overtightening by a little will help against that issue. I’ve only had my plugs replaced at the dealer so I don’t know anything about them.
@@bebeslife4519 I've always set mine at book spec. The threads are weak on them . They can't handle over torque.

Oh fuck I have a stock 03 5.4 with a cold air intake and exhaust.. that's it. And a lot of things to make it heavier. (sound system, wheels, etc.) And I can tell you this thing would completely destroy mine.. lol. Mine does have 373 gearing though (if I recall right)

Let's see it's got similar peak power to a stock 18 gt with more torque, a ton more weight and less aggressive geared trans. I'd say the mustang takes it pretty easy. Aero comes into play too not just the weight.
Those are low miles, you probably wouldn't be doing that if you had 300k plus Miles.

A modified truck is faster then a stock truck, who woulda thunk it.
He's trying to show just what a difference his turbo made what better way to see than to race a stock truck. Everyone knew the turbo truck is gonna be faster its about how much faster and how the race goes. Car people actually like to see stuff like this. I know hard to believe.
