Much love! xx, Lauren
Elbow angle affecting double stops is something I've never heard from other teachers. Good info !
Excellent lesson!
Very useful and more importantly uncomplicated advice. Thank you!
Thanks, Mike!
Thanks Lauren very detailed and helpful information.
Glad you found it helpful!
Thank you very much for this great useful video! ❣
You’re very welcome! 🥰
Thanks so much for the lesson Lauren ✌🏻
Thanks for watching 🙂
That should be my next level which is Double Stops, to make my fiddling more funky!
A rank beginner here (been playing one month), and like others, I find your tips here to be very helpful! That said, getting a clean sound when stopping with my pinky is still very difficult - in fact, seems impossible without lifting my other fingers, which I'm reluctant to do. Anyway, I don't see a way around it except through practice. Thanks again!
Thanks, Pete! Good luck to you!
Wow, pulling the elbow forward really helps to buy more room for d/stops. Noticed that moving the elbow too far forward hurts.
Yes, it's all about balance!
Getting the angle of the bow so it pulls on both strings evenly I find ludicrously difficult. And it's something I do practice a lot.
It’s tough, but you’ll get there! Keep at it!
@langhamp8912 I like to come down to the strings from above, like forehead level. That way my bowarm elbow is sure to be at the same level as the strings.
