Man that's awesome. Iv never seen anyone catch shrimp before. I'd love to take my two little boys with someone to do that. Of coarse I'd want to fish with some of those. Amazing
Dan great video I love the shrimping videos. When I saw you outside Friday evening I tried shrimping Saturday and I caught only jumbo shrimp and as well as the biggest shrimp of my season at 8 inches.
Great video! I'm from Alabama where Conecuh Sausage is made and it's considered pretty much sacrilegious to cook any other sausage. I've been eating it my entire life and ever since moving to Georgia I've been on a campaign getting people to try it. Although I love your "ch" pronunciation of Conecuh, it's supposed to be a hard "k" like ConeKuh. Love the channel. Thanks for everything you've taught me.
Love your videos! I'm also a savannah local. Would love to hear more info on your days of fishing. Such as date, weather conditions, water conditions, and whereabouts. I'm an avid angler but always looking to learn more!
Great Video Dan. Next time you are cooking this, try using a little Zatarains liquid (concentrated), baby carrots, and stalks of celery. I use the same sausage and it's the best. I cook my shrimp separate so they will not continue to cook in the heat of the rest of the boil. 3 Minutes perfect every time.
Always a good idea to check the fishing regulations. 2023 regulations, page 46, Cast Nets Gear. "...and cast nets can be modified with the addition of duct tape or other materials to enhance performance."
Thanks man. It’s a deep ledge. I did a tutorial on Parteon last week showing how I find these areas and exactly where this one is if you’re interested. Link in video description
I’ve never had a low country boil without crab legs. It was really missing that. Great job, you made it look simple.

I’ll have to give it a try Mark….
Hey man, loving the videos. You ever do any shrimping from shore? Planning a trip to Darien but won't have a boat.
No sir
Looks good but the onions are delicious too me
His pronunciation is hilarious!!! 🤣🤣🤣 it’s pronounced Co-neck-a ….. made in Conecuh county Alabama, my old stomping grounds!
thanks
Crazy question, has it always been legal to use a taped cast net in Georgia? I live in Savannah and thought they were illegal. Great channel sir!

Hi Dan - Is late November still good to go shrimping here in Savannah?
@@mtnguyen1696 yes
Hey Dan! Love this! How did you figure out where to go to decide to cast the net to catch the shrimp??
Thanks Ben!!.. I was reading the bottom like I showed in the video.
Is that Ossabaw Sound?
Huge fan of the channel Dan. Let's go fly fishing sometime.
You know where to go?
Flood tide Jekyll... on foot, easy trip.
I prefer my shrimp about half that size. So much more flavor.
Hey brother, love your video. Is that a deep hole that you found in the sound or just 40 feet flat bottom?

That isn't enough seasoning fella. South Louisiana, here. Need to shoot more for heart disease. ha
😂 Me and you sound the same. My wife on the other hand. Not so spicy. Welcome to the channel Hammererd
@@LowCountryFishing Yes sir. That's a reason for multiple batches, ha. Trout are heating up. I hope you get on them.
@@hammerd9103 yes sir. Water temps creeping into the low 80’s right now. Our trout wake up at 75!!

What happens when you catch a porpoise?
The purpose of a porpoise is to be repurposed.
