These are so beautiful. The bunched up plastic wrap reveal made me gasp, it looks like gemstones! the sharply geometric pattern reminds me of my experiments with bubbles!
WOW!! Lemon Juice!! You got some crazy reactions and patterns. These no doubt are vintagy. Thanks for sharing the whole process and can't wait to see what else you've got up ya sleeve. Love ya always Hugs Shaz
Love it love it love it 😍 yes I’d love even more from you Marci - your experiments, your art journaling , as much as you feel comfortable with sharing with us as much as you do not pressure yourself 😊🌸🌸 I’m constantly watching on loop your coffee painting/papers videos 😍
❤ J adore votre travail, J et ne imaginais pas pouvoir utiliser des matières comme le café, thé et autres. J AI très envie d essayer, merci beaucoup, Daisy Schauwers
Stunning! I've achieved some pretty amazing results with paper dying myself... And it's just so much fun, I don't even care what I'm going to do with them afterwards 😊❤
Thanks Gail! I really love this community and reading all the comments and talking to you guys, but yes family comes first and now that we are all better, I hope you can see more of me here! ☺️
I've had a few of my experiments be sticky or otherwise undesirable after they dried. I put packing tape stickers over them. It seals in the stickiness and adds a lot of interest. I love your techniques and certainly will be using them soon! I have about a ream (or more!) of old medical report papers I am going to play with. They have sensitive personal info on them so they are great for journaling! Great way to make the info secure!
Yes. Yes to all of it. I want to see more of everything!! This was fascinating. I wish I knew what I could get in the US that would work as your yellow die did.
Love love love all of them. I was "playing" while I was watching this video. I can hardly wait for spring to be here. Thank you soo much for sharing. And don't worry about having to do a video every week or whatever. Just do when you can.
The artist Seth Apter talks about the freedom of making a hot mess, you are in the same group. Love the yellow and rice dots would use as journal pages
I love this Marci! I can't wait to try this...it will be perfect for my volume two of the grunge journal I need to work on. Thank you for the inspiration! ❤️
Oohhh Sherri Im so glad you like it and felt inspired by it, feel free to share the video with anyone you think will like it and if you have any questions or suggestions let me know, you might also like my other coffee papers and I made the other ones into free printables too, so you could also use those for your projects. Hope you have a lovely day and thanks so much for stoping by! 🥰
@@MixitupMarci for sure! I will definitely be adding videos when I do volume two so if I end up doing this and using them I will refer everyone to your video to learn how it’s done.
@@heartandsoulfuldesign oohhh Sherri thats very sweet of you, will love to see your take on it, and btw, since I havent seen your last vid on recycled journals I will catch up on those colorful babies tomorrow since Im under the weather and its pass midnight here in Spain. Btw, I am so inspired by all the pretty colors, between you and tracy verdugo, I am feeling very summery in the mids of a very cold winter here. 🥰
According to me, this was one of the longest premieres I've ever watched. But, I not at all felt bored..like how can I? These are so addicting and fun to do. Thanks Marci, love ya!😊❤
Just fantastic! Personally I don't like black ink but the effects with all the other stuff are great. Love the cling film parts and salt. Don't know which of your papers is my favourite. Could you mention what the food colouring is that you use? Looks a little like it contains saffron. Really enjoy all your videos and look forward to the next when you find time. Like that idea about a plant pot and drawing flowers growing out of it... My problem is I think the papers are so nice that I have problems finding the courage to cut them ...
Andrea the food coloring is the one we use for Paellas here in Spain, it does have saffron but its like a cheap version of the real good paella food coloring. 😜 As for the papers try and think that the fun in creating more is worth and that using them up and cutting them is also fun! ☺️ I use to be hesitant too, but when u see how fun creating new stuff with them is, that fear goes away! 💪🏻☺️ Next weekend there is going to be a video on how I got the coffee bubble method improved! 😋 super fun and easy! See u then! 😘
...nuh uh!! Lemon juice and saran wrap?? Who knew?? And you mentioned vinegar? Lemon juice smells lots better! And lime juice would do the same thing? We have both cuz my son is the homemade salsa king! What would I use this for? A couple things... a mega grungy JJ I'm planning and some little "I Love Coffee" notebooks I'd like to try to sell at a local tourist trap... uh, I mean shop!! Yeah, tourist souvenir shop... and locals too actually... cool li'l place! And sweetheart, you mentioned a sick household? Girrlll... I've been down for 2 1/2 weeks with some funky-@$$ flu. Not Covid... I'm not really REALLY sure, but it's not Covid. Nahh... not Covid. Here's to all of us feeling better soon! Like later on today perhaps? Love and tight hugs from waayyy over here where it's cold and windy as well. My papers have been drying on top of the stove in the living room! XOX Marci, MK

this is sooo cool! i have a question, what do you do with these paper? like i do these and its fun but i dont know what to do with the papers in the end, i saw ur videos where u used it for journal pages and u cut them to make craft but other than that i dont know what to do...
I write letters and send them, i do art work on top and frame them, u scan them and use them in projects, also stamp on them, use them for collage, and decoupage, etc…

Look for Paella coloring or saffron, its a bit more expensive the saffron but its basically the expensive version of what i used! 😋

When I lived in Spain, I heard a saying that Madrid had two seasons: invierno and infierno. Lol. Your comment about the cold reminded me of that.
