Super awesome video. Really shows how to use the building blocks in Ableton well and how quickly you can get potential with just the stock stuff in Ableton.
i don't remember when i subscribed to this channel but it's too bad i can't re-hit the subscribe button because this video lesson would've definitely made me a subscriber
It's good for sound designers but even sounds already previously heard are still good. I personally prefer sounds which aren't too complex sounding (too loaded) Keep it simple.
I see your hands !!!! Now I know you are with a midi keyboard and i see what you are doing when i hear amazing sounds...Great !!!!!! Thank you for the great video.
I am curious to see what can you teach us about writing basslines. Not the sound design but the syncopation, style, harmonic tempo etc. I find it difficult to think about a bassline after I write my beat ( house, techno)
im new to this and im literally trying to just get some of those basic sounds you started out with. like, why do i have all these weird crunchy sounds on ableton, why cant i just find a regular sounding 8 bit synth? like at the beginning of Flo Rida's "Who dat girl" or some of those dubsteb sounds by seven lions? I know they both use FL Studios, but still. Regardless, this was a helpful video for when I want to start changing things up.
Hey man, is that an Analog on the video's right corner? I'm very interested in one and I'd like to know how do you use it and how good is it to warm software synths.
That is a eurorack modular synth. Super fun and inspiring to make one. It is a common misconception that these synths are totally analog. Each module could be analog or digital. I would recommend going to a synth store and trying one out. They are totally arbitrary systems that you can build strengths into them
For me, best music production channel right now💣
The Multi-Band OTT suggestion for pads is a winner, thank you.
Beautiful rant at the end regarding sound design. Great video!!
great advice. also love how much fun you seem to be having messing around with the sounds!
Wow dude. I watch alot of tutorials and I'm really blown away by this one. Awesome job, seriously

Only problem is I have the standard suite, and it doesn't have a few of these features :( (unless I just couldn't find them)
Lots of things that are cool bring out the wiggles.
Keep up the great vids, dude. Another winner here \m/
"This is a trick I've been doing for a long time on: putting a vocoder on a 'classic' drum beat..."

Well opinions about what is boring and what is nice always differ!

That bright saw lead with the frequency shifter sounds like the synth used in Benzie Box by MF DOOM.
Inspired!
potential dumb question but how do u get to this view in the first place where u edit the sounds

@@SeedtoStage I'm sorry but it seems that I forgot to write the word "Heat" after Analog.
@@guilhermerocha1555 oh ha ok yeah I like the analog heat for sure, it's a great box and has an a/b switch which I use obsessively.
@@SeedtoStage do you use it with Overbridge?
Moral of the story...Experiment when making music, use plugins you would not normally use, and do things you wouldn't normally do.
