Holy shit, dude. Not only is this a super helpful tutorial but your humor and personality are entertaining as fuck. I’m about to go balls deep into this channel.
Some great stuff as per usual, UB, you keep progressing like those chords you play so much. I love your improved visual humor lately too. Keep up the good shit.
man just wanna say thank you, clicked on recomended and was super surprised by such an awesome easy and funny tutorial format. Real G giving direction to newbies. Good luck fam
I’ve learnt so much from you dude! Proper easy to follow and the things you have done for my music are well beyond my expectations! Just to say thanks for your help!
Oh kay, so check it. As someone new to ableton and producing in general, your videos have been blowing my mind. This video especially. Genuinely thank you for these.
On the freeware side of things, closest seems to be the Calf vintage delay and mainly messing with it's subdivision and tempo settings. However the frequency separation ("Star wars") also means a pass through a comb filter, which is a different thing than the comb delays on the LADSPA/LV2 stuff as they don't quite work this way. At least if anyone was curious as to where to start in getting close to it with a different bag of tricks.
i have now rediscovered my love for whole grains. my stools will now be so much better thanks to you and the increased fiber in my diet. and I also know more about that ableton delay thing.
Honestly yer such a good lax teacher that I started thinking... “is music easy... has it been easy like they tried saying for my whole life.... is it like math but not calculus?” Whatever, point being, I just Googled “is making music easy” to see if: 1) I can mentally be convinced it’s easy so that to have that Confidence “overnight” and 2) see all the ways making music is easy! My first video with this dude And wow man good for you, you non-hate-able guy.
Many thanks for the clear patient explanation for setting up an effects chain - like you were explaining it to a sentient but tech challenged moron...ie me. Kudos.
