i have no idea why you got low views you one of those legit truthful and trustable youtubers that does not do sponsored products unlike all 1m++ sub creators
Just want to say that I am very acne prone and I have very reactive skin as well, but I absolutely love this serum!! I use it all over and I’ve had no issues with breakouts or sensitivity 😊
I have a similar skin type and am wondering if you apply it before or after moisturizer? I’m thinking about buffering it with moisturizer first, letting that dry down, then applying. Did you find that necessary?
@@ashegar I apply it after serum! I didn’t find I needed a buffer with moisturizer.
Did you see any results from the retinal?
@@nillou yes, I do!
Any updates on using this after a year? Notice any significant difference? I just started using this
My 10 out 10 !!! On to my third tube & using it every second night all over face & neck . My skin loves it and that a first for any retinal/ Retinol product ever . My holy grail 🏆
Are you still using it?
Thank you so much for the honest review ❤️
I ❤ this eye cream! I have reactive skin and tolerate this well. Glad to hear high praise from you too.
Absolutely love this eye cream. It's my holy grail eye product ♥️
This colour suits you. I am tempted to buy this. I had dismissed a few BOJ products a couple of years back and giving them a second chance right now. I am pleasantly surprised by them now. I am excited to see more K beauty products containing retinol and now even retinal!!!
I would love a video on liposomes! Thanks for always being real and keeping us informed 💜
Will definitely have to do this- I have a lot of thoughts on this rather "bland" topic!
I love this serum. I do use it on my eyelids (ooops), but I've had no issues. I don't really have sensitive skin though. I use one pump and a half and whatever's left after I apply it on my under eye area I use on my neck. Great video as always!!!!!
Me too😂
Love your reviews and watched them over the past years. You also look even more beautiful over the years 🥰
Oh thank you so much, you are too kind, but you made my day!
I’ve not try this eye cream, but I find Dr. Dennis Gross Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction eye serum is very effective. It’s pricey but it works.
I just bought this one and after your review I know I am gonna love it 🙏🏻
You look so pretty in pink 💕
I love how I just started using this tonight and then your video popped up 😄. I always enjoy your take on products 🙂
What are the odds of that? We are on the same product wavelength!
Thank you 💕🌸!!
Sarah, you look beautiful n flawless as always! ❤🤝💅
This is Gonna b so Good Sarah🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Thursday😀….
I have this product. It’s not bad, very gentle and not greasy.
I also use this on my neck (replaced Avene Retrinal) and tretinoin on my face, works great!
Just as good just cheeper $$
Interesting about the inconsistent ingredients lists. I’ve heard good things about this one and if it is fragrance free maybe I will give it a shot. My eyes are so sensitive esp now with allergies. You look like the personification on a cheery springtime!
I wonder if that other ingredient list floating around was an error or maybe something they had worked on and then changed (for the better bigtime). I almost always wear black so changing it up to pink is tough for me!
Beauty of Joseon is the bomb! I love everything they make!
I am so happy to have found you and your genuine reviews!! (Funny, I had ordered this a few days ago and just got it today!) I am subscribing now and look forward to more of your real, sincere reviews. God bless! 😊
Oh thank you so much for your kind comment. So happy you found me here, I love doing what I do so much so I won't be going anywhere for a very long time. 😃
@@NOBSBeauty Yay! I'm glad to hear that 😊
I ADORE this product!!!! It was my first retinAL product and I used it all over my face. It made me glow and my skin so soft. I just stopped using it because I wanted to trial the Naturium Retinal, but I may go back to it! So affordable and effective. I’d love for you to review the Naturium Retinal if you would be open to reviewing the brand… I trust you and your judgement so much!!!! ❤❤❤ PS you are absolutely glowing. I love this pink on you!
she's talked about naturium a few times and how she'll never use them because of their scandal
@@lookyluckyoty
I just sneak my tretanoin up a but from my cheeks. And use what's left on my fingers mixed with cream on my neck. I can't justify bying a targeted retinal eye cream since I love, love, love the CosRx Snail Peptide Eye cream 😉😆 (and don't think most of us didn't know to what you were referring as far as Eye products you love😉💗💗💗
I love this! Very hydrating, my dry lower eyelids are much less flakey. I have dry, mature skin and hooded eyelids. I apply under my brows as well, not directly on the lids, but I think it migrates. I only use this on my "off" nights from tretinoin 3 times per week. I also use this on my smile lines as well. I think it's helping! Many blessings 💖💖💖
How many times do you use in a week
Out of topic but I love the earrings. They look like little shopping bags lol
😂😂😂😂😂Yeah
you should do a review on the purito b5 re-barrier cream
First off love that your outfit and nails match the eye cream package , it’s a very generous size I’m still iffy about the results I can use this on my brow bone/ eye lid area with no problem I’m just trying to figure out if it’s doing anything one thing I will say is it’s a bit more hydrating than another retinal eye serum I have used and a little goes along way I’m just not sure how stable this retinal is prior to this I was using the he Avene Retinal eye and I seen results with that one it’s just so expensive hence why I bought this one I’m still on my first bottle and I already have a second in my cabinet once I run out because this size is generous it’s taking long to get through it which is great I’m just still questioning if I’m seeing any results the Avene isn’t as hydrating and sometimes I felt I needed more then I should be using because it didn’t spread well but this boj does spread well gonna keep giving it a try it isn’t hurting so might as we’ll keep going since I have a second one waiting
I hope you could review Manyo skincare products..Their Galac Niacin Essence seems promising..
My eyes are used to a retinol serum specifically for eyes that I’ve used for years so I thought I’d be fine with this. Even so, I phased it’s use in gently using only once then twice per week and not on the eyelids. However, it seemed to trigger eczema in the corners and upper eye lid area so I stopped and use it on my face instead now. Huge shame as I was looking forward to this being my HG eye cream. Now instead I’m carrying on using my Medik8 eye retinol serum and layering with DE eye balm over the top.
In my third tube, I like it a lot. Fantastic review!
Does it work for fine lines under eye and dark circles?
@bhawna bhawna fine lines are diminish. Dark circles are another story, it depends on what is the cause for them; mine are genetically given 🙄🤣, meaning no, it does not. The overall radiance of the skin around the eyes is improved as well.
@@gladhead thank u so much for sharing
@@gladheadmy dark circles are caused by pigmentation and screen time (job). Will this cream work?
@@bhawnabhawna7372where did u buy it from?
Thankyou for the video i want to ask you about when shall i use as i just bought today?
I would recommend using this in your evening routine. If you are new to retinal/retinoids I would recommend using this every other night for the couple of months. And also be sure to follow it up with a moisturizer and sunscreen during the daytime.
What is your regular eye cream, to which you always go back?
I've not tried boj eye cream but I've tried so many retinol eye creams and so far the best long term results one remains LRP redermic R eye cream after 3-6 months of consistent use I could see visible difference in terms of brightening and firming, not a huge fan of LRP and their parent L'OREAL but I have to admit they do retinol right they literally have studies prove the efficacy of their retinol and I can attest to that, I never had a problem with applying around my entire eye area including the eyelids but I've seen other ppl I know experiencing some mild irritation that seem to subsidise shortly after discontinuing using it around there idk everyone's skin different.
I'm going to have to try that one next! I was going through some of my Loreal products a few days ago remembering how pretty much all of them were so average but still pricey. LRP has such better products.
Great vid! Can we use this in the beginning and end of day?
You certainly can use it morning and evening, for me I typically use this one just at night. Just be sure to use sunscreen around your eye area.
Thanks for the review, Sarah. For the last couple weeks I've been using castor oil on my eye lids a few times a week. My lashes need help. 😂
Doesn’t it migrate to your eyes ? Every time I barely use that I get blurry eye
@joans Maybe I'm not using enough but no. Those lash serums can cause side effects so I hope to get results without them.
Just wanted to say that Myrrh, while it has its own natural fragrance, it is actually a great skin care ingredient mostly used for anti-aging and has been used for centuries. It's technically not a fragrance, it's just used as a fragrance, it's a naturally occurring resin so that's probably why they can say it's "fragrance free". It isn't synthetic either as Myrrh comes from trees.
I've been using twice a day for 2 weeks, and I just realized today that the dark circles under my eyes are getting lighter and the milia are going away! I pulled out my 10X mirror to be sure and yes, it is working! Woo hoo!😊 I'm going to start using this on my sunspots on my cheeks now. I didn't know think to use it anywhere else.
That is awesome- Victory in the 10X mirror- you are a brave soul to look into one of those. 😂 Last time I flipped to that side of the mirror I was traumatized for at least a week, lol!
@@NOBSBeauty 🤣
Uh oh. I do use it on my eyelids. My eye area is EXTREMELY sensitive, and I’ve not had a problem with it, so go figure. I don’t use it every night. I switch around with the La Roche-Posay redermic r eye cream and a couple of other non-retinol/retinal eye creams. I really love the Beauty of Joseon eye cream and the La Roche-Posay eye cream. I would say the LRP one is more gentle. The results are phenomenal. I also use the BoJ cream on my neck. I cannot recommend these eye creams enough.
I absolutely love this one on my neck more than anything else- I've searched for years for a good neck retinol product and this one ended up being perfect!
I've considered picking this up as an eye cream, I use tret and don't know how closely I can take it to my eye. I got the Sunday Riley retinoid eye cream in a beauty box, I quite like it, I don't know where the BoJ is compared to this one but it's like $50 less so that one has a big leg up on old Sunday Riley there 😂
I have this as well as the one from Sunday Riley, too! Sunday Riley does end up in a lot of beauty boxes lately- especially Allure which makes their products a lot better deal if you can get it that way. I ended up liking this one a bit more than Sunday Riley- but I am also super cautious around my eyes because of how dry they already are from lasik. So far so good with this one, but my neck is honestly benefitting the most from this one.
You look gorgeous. Two days ago I stopped using this product because it caused me milia in my under eye area. It was too much. I tried reducing the dose several time but it has not stopped. It dies reduce fine lines and it has a nice texture but I can't with the milia.
Hi Jamilia, I'm with you. Any heavy cream I put under my eyes causes instant Milia, I stick with serums. My favorite is the Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM Night Serum. It feels nice on the skin, absorbs quickly, causes NO MILIA and it makes your skin glow. Try it, I bet you'll like it .
I have this product. So sad it doesn't work on my sensitive skin my eyes got irritated so I stopped using it. Right now I am using Avene eye cream. It is pricey but my skin tolerates it well. I hope to see review on Aestura mist. I have been using Aestura cream that I saw on your videos.
Did you try putting on your moisturizer first and then using the serum? That’s what dermatologist have recommended when you’re using a retinol and getting your skin used to it especially if you have really sensitive skin.
Thank you so much . I’m trying to decide between this and the By wishtrend A-mazing retinal as my first retinal .
I would have started with the geek and gorgeous 0.05 but not available here right now ( Australian stockist has stopped selling for a while).
May I ask, which do you think is nicer and or stronger, or shows more benefits? The wishtrend a-mazing or this one? I know the % of both but % doesn’t always equate to best results with retinal if it isn’t stabilised well!
The wishtrend has some other things too. Everyone seems to rave about the BoJ
I’m also considering just going straight to geek and gorgeous and paying the full shipping so I can get that NOW ( but it would be $60 where as I could have originally purchased the G&G for only $25 if my stockist was available! lol!). I really think it would be best for me to start a retinal right now ( definitely don’t want to wait another year and winter is nearly here in Australia!)
There is also a retinal on yestyle I am thinking about though- Dr Different vitalift! Comes in 0.05. & 0.1 retinal . About 45 including shipping to here.
It would be cheaper than the G&G at the moment but not in the future…. Decisions decisions!
Help! lol!
That is a bummer about G&G! I've tried all the ones you mentioned (BOJ, Dr Different, and Wishtrend). Retinal is great for so many things- anti-aging, preventing acne, brightening skin, firming skin texture, etc so if your skin tolerates it I would go for it! Out of the three you mentioned I think I would start with the one from Wishtrend because it contains some nice beneficial ingredients such as bakuchiol, peptide, beta-glucan, and other hydrating ingredients. You can't go wrong with any of them but out of the three I ended up preferring the Wishtrend.
Unfortunately it's very drying for my under eyes.🤨 sooo wanted to love it but I can't😢. Using it on the backs of my hands and my chest instead in order not to waste it.
What are your must have eye creams? Really curious
My long-term favorite is still the Cosrx Snail Peptide Eye Cream! Been loving it for a while and it always leaves my eye area looking hydrated and smooth. The Good Molecules Yerba Mate Wake Up Eye Gel is also wonderful as well as the Summer Fridays Light Aura C Peptide Eye Cream. You cannot go wrong with any of these!
❤ thank you for the answer, i think i kjow which is gonna be my next buy
Can someone help me with information. I bought Cerave Resurfacing Retinol Serum & this beauty of joseon serum. For my mild acne prone skin which one should i use in full face?
The Beauty of Joseon Retinal is going to be stronger than the CeraVe. Have you used retinol products in the past? If not I'd recommend using the CeraVe product first and once you finish that I'd step up to the Beauty of Joseon. It will allow your skin to acclimate. They are both great products, and just start out slowly.
ETA: they can both be used on the full face and I've used both on my full face.
@@NOBSBeauty Thank you so much for such an elaborate & helpful answer ❤️
Is better than the multi peptide serum by the ordinary? It works for under eye wrinkles?
Both are great products but for deeper/ more stubborn wrinkles I'd go with the retinal eye serum. Retinal is very well researched and can help with wrinkles. You could still use The Ordinary Peptide Eye Serum as well. You could use one in the morning routine and the other at night.
@@NOBSBeauty Thank you so much for answering I think I'll buy the revive eye serum
I think you'll be happy with it, just be patient and give it a month or so.
I have milia ,is good to use after bha paula's choice?
I do think this will help with milia. It's such a tough thing to treat but bha and Retinoids are typically well worth using. Where is the milia located?
@@NOBSBeauty Milia is located on the cheeks
Am I the only one who doesn't tolerate this under the eyes? My skin peels and looks dry and flaky after this serum :( I use it on my face instead once a week and it's alright I guess but nothing special.
I agree too drying
Wait what? Not supposed to use on eyelids? But that’s where my wrinkles are… 😢
OMG, the camera in front of Sarah or to the right - Why doesn't it stay still? Driving me nuts!
❤
is this serum fragrance free?
Yes, this is fragrance free.
When you listen half and hear 'COW extract', quick rewind....ohhh cacao xD
😂 Well that certainly would make an interesting skincare product, wouldn't it?!?!
There is Aluminium in it,a no go for me:)
