One microphone taking up one XLR input on the back. That leaves one 1/4" input left for guitar or keyboard (and keyboard is stereo (L + R)). How are the vocal and instruments connected to the Freeplay? Is it Mic and Guitar on the two Combi inputs on the back, and a stereo 1/8" mini connector going into the Aux input?
Supreme Funkmaster could you please share a video of you Mackie FreePlay using the mixer, just curious how thats working for you, thanks for the suggestion I might try your idea, too...Peace Crazy.
looks to me that the guutar isn't even plugged in anywhere and the keys are run to the laptop then the 8th inch out to the freeplay sends the keys and backing track. the xlr is the vocal only.
well spotted Cal. But we aren't hearing the out front sound raw or as is. We are hearing a produced song running into freeplay, and back out into mac for mixing and upload here to youtube. Nice sound, but i'm interested in how the speakers project in a live setting. ty for vid though. appreciate it and nice vox. u like punjabi ?

I connected a small peavey 6 Chan mixer to the stereo aux input. Now I have plenty of stereo inputs and effects.

Vocal sounds muffled, is this due to camera audio ? Or Mackie audio for Mike is bad

exactly, laptop is powerbank for m-audio and vst.

Great. But how do you supply the keyboard?
It is probably bus powered (USB) trough the Mac book and used as a midi controller for a virtual piano inside some DAW ;)
