Great video. All the best to the busker, he is great! Excellent choice on the Korg Microstation. I almost bought it years ago, it’s so portable and sound amazing. I wish Korg make a mini key version of Kross but with an improved piano sound!
Love these buskers and what they do with what they have. Rain drops keep falling on my head. This was the first song I learnt to sing at secondary school. No keyboard training at my school what a poor effort by school considering the music teacher brought in the just released Piano Man Album for us to listen to.

What kind of stand is he using? Is it a microphone stand with some add on that carries the keyboard?
What talent! What a voice. I need to listen again to catch all of the gear he uses. I was really interested in the Korg minikeys. I'll have to Google that one.. I wonder what mic he uses too.
Pretty cool what the 360 camera is doing zooming in. I carry a micro keys air 49 around with me in case I need to practice or gig somewhere. I use it with my phone, iPad , or laptop as a backup keyboard. I have a harbinger pa speaker that I use to play through. The mircokeys isn't as comfortable to play sometimes so I also have the novation launchkey 49 midi controller as a light weight rig. I wish I could find a battery powered speaker that's loud and clear enough to use and will fit in a backpack. The Casio CTK 7200 with midi software is my main gigging keyboard. I'm looking to upgrade that at some point with something smaller and has arranger functions.

I know this is really late, but if you get this, I really need to know the name of the combo stand you are using. I have a similar setup, and use a micro station too, so that stand is perfect! Can’t find anything else similar.

Ah I've been researching about a portable setup too. Currently I'm using a Roland A49 connected to a laptop then to an amplifier. It's a bit messy and I'm thinking of simplifying it by looking into lighter keyboards like Korg i3, Kross 2 or Roland XPS30

Any big capacity power bank will do. You just need a converter you can get from electrical shop.

Not to far from China and Italy ant you people worried about COVID-19 I see no mask , money handling and people walking around without mask kind of confusing happy ant Singapore on lock down ?
I dont like the "im busking because i need to pay for school" shtick that i always see,
At this point i just expect young clean street performers to be students
Aside from that, i think you are actually paying for college just fine, otherwise you wouldnt be there,
And lastly, if you were in a situation like this it would make more sense to work part time, but understandable if a job wasnt available or if youre reaaaallyyyyy studying so hard that it becomes difficult to make money because of your schedule,
However busking only works in very specific places at specific times, it takes some time to learn your area, which adds to the confusion as to why someone would do it, but also makes sense as to why i see students try to do it at grocery stores (depending if the store makes them leave, i guess walmart doesnt like live music..)
I have nothing against it, honestly i hate businesses, i would rather be poor and broke doing what i love, but 99% of people disagree with me.
But yeah, i dont think one would need financial support for school if theyre already knee deep in textbooks, just sounds like poor planning,
My aunt has been doing medical school for years, working as a nurse and supporting herself all the way, people like her are inspirational
