just FYI 2-3 of these video clips involve people who brought gun to school but never fired it. but since the video is titled school shooters this implies that everyone in the video shot other people at a school. This is false and the video title should be renamed appropriately Those in the video who shot people deserve to do time for their punishments but those who just brought a gun to a school shoulcn't be branded/labeled as school shooters when they didn't actually shoot anyone. That's fucked up to be labeled that when you didn't actually do it.
Right? The title is misleading at best, if not just straight up clickbait. This needs more likes so that others can see how deceptive the title is. the video should be either renamed or remade with *actual* school shooters getting caught rather than people who simply made a mistake and could've had their lives ruined because of it, if it hasn't happened already.
The young man in the first video seems like a peaceful, respectful member of society who holds authority figures to a pretty high regard. I wonder if he's still that way after being treated like a terrorist while going about his day at school.
Could go either way. On the one hand, the cop's weren't that bad towards him, but on the other he was still treated like a terrorist when he did not actually try to hurt anyone. Worst case scenario, he goes scorched earth or just stops caring about society.

It amazes me how easy it is to get into schools, you would think the glass doors would be bullet proof or not even glass at all, you would think children would have a better escape route that’s not just going to a single room with all the kids inside (which most likely the shooter knows where the room is at). It’s scary.
@@asrr62 When I was in school they locked it down pretty tight but a neon vest and a camera bought me free access through any door at any time. I was in yearbook and would regularly leave campus for lunch using my vest.
I graduated in 1996. Things like this were simply unheard of. I grew up in a totally different world then the one we have today. That kids have to fear this as a regular reality to me is insane. Having said all that there is a problem with bullying it isnt always aggressive, sometimes its passive in the form of just taunting someone to fight who doesnt want to fight. I experienced that until what I believe was a very perceptive gym teacher that allowed us to go into the mat room where the biggest of the 2 kids at a school I was new at challenged me to wrestle. That was the end of that as I had 6 years of freestyle wrestling under my belt and the larger kid found out in a fight where anything goes, if we get in a scrum, it's probably not going to end up on our feet. Not everyone has that opportunity, or even foresight. I will be honest, I had a way to defend myself, but had I not I could have shot that kid in the face and not felt bad about it for a second. Kids are maturing and learning, we dont have the age, maturity and life experience to handle things well. Thats not an excuse to shoot up a school, but there are things happening and usually outside the vision of adults that really leave a kid thinking they have to handle something on their own. We need to do better as adults. Bring in victims of bullying and find a way to give kids a way to come forward and nip this in the bud immediately.
Same. Graduated late 90s. I'm beginning to thing that the last really great time for people to grow up was the 80s and 90s. Social media, cell phones, etc has changed the world for the worst. I believe the downfalls far outweigh the conveniences of it all. Scary as a parent.

First dude brought me back some tough memories as a kid, I even paused the video and cried while reflecting on a memory that once lost, was reopen in the back of my mind. So here's the story. I was in second grade at the time. I was quite a normal kid, with plenty of friends and have no trouble other than not finishing my homework. One day I went way too curious on myself and decided to bring a large glass pistol (the kind that are beer bottles) and some cool hotwheels cars for my friends to play and enjoy. I remember getting off the bus, going inside of the school, and there were these two teachers who I always hang out with for a couple minutes. I then opened my backpack grabbed the glass pistol, and decided to tinker and even point the glass pistol at one of the teachers, who in response raised their hands. Once they realised it was made of glass, they took the glass pistol and my backpack away and forced me to go into the principals office. When I sat down at the principal's office, he came in and told me why I brought in a look-alike weapon. To me I thought to myself that it was cool, and I had plans for showing it to my friends, but the principal took an obvious turn, knowing that I brought in a look-alike weapon, taught me a lesson that I will never forget. The principal interestingly enough, never called my parents to pick me up, nor even gave me a suspension, he knew a lot about me before that I was extremely curious and willing to try new things out. I showed my guilt to the man, knowing that what I've done was not a joke, and was a for real serious subject I never knew was a thing till now. He decided to let me go, get breakfeast, and finish school as usual. Although with this case on my hands, the teachers and even friends didn't grew a judge on me, rather they gave me what I needed most, companionship and knowledge. I felt the most guilt in my life on that day, but taught me a lot on how to be a better person. I am not perfect, heck we aren't perfect, but we can chnage that for the better ourselves and others around. Mr. Mike, you're my favorite principal. Kudos to you in life!
Sidenote: None of these Shooters had "Assault Rifles" they had Rifles. Audrey Hale had a Kel-Tec SUB-2000 capable of only Semi-Automatic Fire, and Assault Rifle, by definition, is a Rifle capable of both Fully-Automatic and Semi-Automatic Fire, something that no ordinary citizen without special Federal Licensing or a lot of money can possess.
The criteria for an "assault rifle" is slightly more specific than just that. It is: 1) A weapon capable of selective fire 2) Chambered in an intermediate power cartridge 3) The magazine must be easily detachable 4) It must have an effective range of at least 330 yards away
It depends on the type of gun, a semi-automatic AR-15 can potentially cause way more casualties than a M1-Garand. A pump shotgun can also kill a lot of people easier than a pistol.
There are two definitions of "assault rifle." A military definition (which you wrote in your comment), and the legal definition, which has a number of differences besides the rate of fire. Merriam-Webster assault rifle noun : any of various intermediate-range, magazine-fed military rifles (such as the AK-47) that can be set for automatic or semiautomatic fire also : a rifle that resembles a military assault rifle but is designed to allow only semiautomatic fire.
The weapon was properly stored away In a vehicle on school property Carrying bullets in his pockets was a bit excessive and probably scared students and some teachers which is most likely why the police were alerted However carrying ammunition and being charged with possession of a deadly weapon are two very different things. This situation at surface value seems like a very overdramatized play of paranoia acted out on someone who seems slightly questionable but overall mentally stable and was trying to execute and utilize their second amendment right…
You can’t have any weapons on school grounds. That includes parking, fields, and sports complexes that is owned by the school district. So it was possession on school grounds. He might’ve been confused in that part where the parking lot includes school grounds. But in the end, those are the rules whether or not you’re confused.
@@morgancloutier5908 Maybe that law has to be amended to physically wielding possession of a deadly weapon instead. It seems overly excessive. Regardless, the constitution and federal/local laws have always had grey areas that conflict with one another. This has always been the case for centuries.

Owning a .22 is not illegal. In some states personal vehicles are even considered an extension of castle doctrine, and keeping them locked away within your vehicles is perfectly lawful.
Had a buddy in HS who did the same thing as the first kid. He was worried about other kids being shooters, poor response times by local cops, and a rising drug problem in our area. He never got in trouble for it and I don't blame him for being scared. It's tough to picture him getting his life ruined like the first kid when we can see that no harm was meant.

@@IBSreal In some state's law, it could be within the law. Depending on state law, a personal vehicle is an extension of your personal property and even extension of castle doctrine, so without consent sometimes warrants are required to search them. If you store a firearm within your vehicle as according to the guidelines of state law, you aren't violating anything. Especially in parking lots which are for the most part considered public property regardless.
It's a felony to bring any kind of firearm into a school or any other state or government administrated building. Gun free zone signs on your local store have no legal backing in most states, and you won't be charged for bringing a gun into said building if you're, say, conceal carrying a handgun. But places like PD departments, courthouses sheriff's offices, schools, ect. and even many banks is highly illegal and is a felony. One of the consequences of being convicted of a felony is the permanent revoking of your right to own or even be near firearms of any kind. Some states like Texas allow felons to keep non semi auto firearms in their homes for their protection. Again, state or federal buildings it's a federal offense to bring any kind of weapon, firearms, melee, etc. Into.

He won't, as they weren't questioning him at that moment. FYI, law enforcement only need to mirandize a suspect when they intend to question/interrogate them. So, he was likely mirandized at the station before investigators began their line of questioning. This is common practice so don't worry too much about it.
He's a dumb kid, I think the officers were trying to help by just telling him to stop talking, however he does happen to be a dumb kid and dumb kids do dumb things, such as bring live rounds into a school and a firearm in his vehicle to a school parking lot which, even if in some cases it's well within the law, is still dumb to do.
7:06 Ok, the first kid says “it makes me feel safe in cast we have a school shooter” then tries to claim its only effective for small games like a damn rabbit… He’s like a walking contradiction. 🤦🏻♀️
It's called a false sense of security. I assume it was a Ruger 10/22, a semi automatic rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, which is a tiny round. As the name implies the native mag for the gun holds ten rounds of .22LR. Some people say .22 is incapable of being deadly, but the fact of the matter is it is deadly. It's only effective on small game, but being effective on and working on something are two different things. getting hit by ten pieces of solid lead moving at 900-1000fps would probably be lethal. So not really a contradiction. Sorry about my comment being so long.
Wow, that title is misleading. 1st guy wasn’t even a school shooter, arrested for keeping a hunting gun in his trunk on school property. No evidence of any plans to shoot people up. That guy broke the law and was arrested, fair enough. But you’re reaching if you think that case classifies as a school shooter case. It amazes me how easy it is to get into schools, you would think the glass doors would be bullet proof or not even glass at all, you would think children would have a better escape route that’s not just going to a single room with all the kids inside (which most likely the shooter knows where the room is at). It’s scary.
I agree. We need more armed security in schools. Especially in evacuation areas.
U would think they would keep the doors locked and have someone posted at the office. Even when I went to school that was how it was supposed to be
@@asrr62 When I was in school they locked it down pretty tight but a neon vest and a camera bought me free access through any door at any time.

Bro said you ain’t getting that insanity plea

It is:
1) A weapon capable of selective fire
2) Chambered in an intermediate power cartridge
3) The magazine must be easily detachable
4) It must have an effective range of at least 330 yards away
It depends on the type of gun, a semi-automatic AR-15 can potentially cause way more casualties than a M1-Garand.
A pump shotgun can also kill a lot of people easier than a pistol.
There are two definitions of "assault rifle." A military definition (which you wrote in your comment), and the legal definition, which has a number of differences besides the rate of fire.
Merriam-Webster
assault rifle
noun
: any of various intermediate-range, magazine-fed military rifles (such as the AK-47) that can be set for automatic or semiautomatic fire
also : a rifle that resembles a military assault rifle but is designed to allow only semiautomatic fire.

AR doesn’t stand for assault rifles. And it’s a magazine not a clip. 🤦♂️
idk but the way he said “what the-🤨” ☠️
This shit is scary as hell.
That teacher must've seen the "It's a great day to save lives!" message on the wall before deciding to approach that second dude.
Why would you be allowed to bring a rifle to school?
Used to be very common. That’s actually a relatively new law. Before all this mess, you were allowed to have long rifles locked in your car. Lol you know how many rednecks hunt? You know some of the best hunting takes place long in the early early morning? Half them come straight from the hunt to their first period
You're not
@@IBSreal In some state's law, it could be within the law.
Into.
"Its a great day to save lives" it said on the wall the second one. And the teacher talked him down. Wow, chills for some reason.
As soon as I herad Ohio at 15 I knew why it happened
“I thought I was allowed to bring a rifle in the parking lot” Is a wild sentence
audrey thought she could fool the hecu by dressing up as a solider.
it didn't work and the gman has put her into a battle she has no chance of winning.
She was going to kill vortigaunts and shit lol
"Everyone out! Stop right there" "Don't say another word. Do you have anything else on you? Do you have any other weapons on this campus. Do you have any other explosives on this campus?"
Deputy Long
14:23 9mm isn't rifle caliber though (the main gun used was a pistol. It folds in half its barrel sorta snaps in place to make it into a rifle length but it's not an assault weapon/ rigid caliber)AK guy makes a good video on it and donut operator has a good bodycam video if people are interested in learning more
It’s also technically classified as a carbine rather than a rifle as well. Calling than an assault rifle is delusional
Imagine being the first kid and being included on a list of "school shooters". He has every right to sue this video creator for defamation to be honest.
Was this narrated by AI?
Seems like it, hate that nobody can use their real voice to talk about anything anymore.
Audrey had a keltec SUB-2000 not an assault rifle.
The 1st one is kinda of a mixed case if he hadnt brought bullets in i would say its bs because most state school allows weapons in personal vehicles
Voices and demons?
Dude that is the most NPC shiat I've ever heard.
was the first guy a shooter or what😭
I don’t think so lol
@@aihoshinoirlI think he was...something about him saying if he were the school shooter...he wouldn't tell anyone. Who carries live rounds into a school...
"live rounds"🤓@@AshleyFarmer-h9k
@@AshleyFarmer-h9k i think that's total cap. seems more like he made a mistake. Keep in mind in the united states of america, shooting as a hobby is super common, the kid had a plinking rifle in his car, sometimes people just forget whats in their pockets, happens more often then you think. especially one small little 22.lr bullet.
@user-cx4im3nc2w Idk why y’all are taking that as if he was plotting to actually shoot up the school. He’s simply telling them how illogical they were. He’s not a shooter, but also if he was, why tf would he tell you!? He’s literally just explaining that their logic is dumb 🤥
So he allegedly had a .22 gun somewhere else in a safe in a lawful place not anywhere near a school or gun free zone and was charged for that. This is why kids should avoid school at all costs and never tell anyone they have a gun, ever.
It was in the school parking lot…
Last I checked that’s near the school and within a gun-free zone.
Where were the miranda rights? Dont get me wrong, that cop was telling him to shut his mouth when he put him in the car, and I think the cops handled this very well, it just makes me worried that this kid would get off on technicalities
He won't, as they weren't questioning him at that moment. FYI, law enforcement only need to mirandize a suspect when they intend to question/interrogate them. So, he was likely mirandized at the station before investigators began their line of questioning. This is common practice so don't worry too much about it.
He's a dumb kid, I think the officers were trying to help by just telling him to stop talking, however he does happen to be a dumb kid and dumb kids do dumb things, such as bring live rounds into a school and a firearm in his vehicle to a school parking lot which, even if in some cases it's well within the law, is still dumb to do.
other cops: being nice to suspects and friendly.
florida cops:
7:06 Ok, the first kid says “it makes me feel safe in cast we have a school shooter” then tries to claim its only effective for small games like a damn rabbit… He’s like a walking contradiction. 🤦🏻♀️
I’m pretty sure the officers said it is only effective against small game not the kid, but I’ll rewatch it and check
Dude he said sentimental reasons not in case

He said it makes him FEEL safe.
"you're under arrest for owning a gun!" if its illegal then why can people sell it?...
I know the title gets you clicks and views but if it’s at the expense of tarnishing the images of people who did NOT commit the crime in the title of the video, nor had any plans to do so, that is wrong. Do better. Only include relevant cases next time.
Edit: Other than that, the video is good. I was just annoyed that you included a case that doesn’t even apply to the subject at hand in your list.
I’m so sorry that was only the first situation, I didn’t know it was a compilation. So sorry JUST SO SAD!
