Can you show how to change sequences on the Poly D in time with other sequencers? instead of changing at the end of the sequence it changes as soon as you press the button.
@@dmxking4300 This was an excellent demonstration with enjoyable sounds. I see that you’re spamming Dan’s video with multiple putdown comments. I don’t recall Patrick’s demos, but you are just being plain rude.

In the 1980s, equipment was too expensive for me to buy. It wasn't until the advent of MIDI sequencers and multi-timbral synthesizers that I was able to start composing music in earnest. But. not anymore. Thank you Behringer.
Still expensive in my country, this set up would still be very close to $3K, considering what you could get in software and a good quality midi controller, audio interface for the money, depends what makes things more fun for you though, so usually hardware can't be beat there.
I like your way of working, I'll try it on a track. I usually start with a bass/sequence and establish the chords from that playing the roots on the bass sequence. Then add my sequencer bits, pads, guitars, vocals, drums.
To get inspired, I often start with 4 random numbers from 1 to 7, build 7th chords on top of them based on a random key, and get the chords in a pleasant order. There is a lot of sweet surprises coming out of that. Btw. a great synth for that is the Behringer Poly D, because of the beautiful filter and the chorus!

Would Behringer design a hardware standalone sequencer? It does not have to be an extensive audio production tool. Just the midi parts. 8 - 16 faders, reasonable large touchscreen, 2 midi ins, 2 midi outs, jog dial wheel, preferably AC outlet instead of adaptor. I think there is a market for this.
Would love to buy some more Behringer gear. But I can't seem to find it anywhere! My dealer of choice is Sweetwater, and I am pretty sure they are out of every behringer synth. Yesterday I looked for the crave, neutron, and model d...all sold out.

@@walrtbstudios5430yes, it will probably be more limited in some aspects compared to the SQ-64. To start with it only has 32 knobs and will probably sequence up to 32 steps. It also will seemingly include 4 CV/GATE out sets but not discrete modulation outs. That is not too important to me, though. What really tips the balance in favor of the Behringer for me is that they promise 2 MIDI CC lanes per part while the Korg offers only one that you need to use for velocity if you want some expression. It's all synced to the clock on the rd8 via midi and the bits that aren't (the strings and odysey) are just relying on the timing of the player. Hardware + audio = no latency.
@Behringer I am literally programming a pattern based MIDI sequencer program at this very moment, as youtube randomly played this is the background. I am currently having to use 4 novation launchpads as the interface but I would much rather have an all-in-1 interface hardware unit as I can tell you, as someone who owns ALOT of electronic music equipment including Behringer synths I have found hardware sequencers made today to be very wanting... whether it is the Akai/MPCs, the Toraiz Squid, the pyramid, the novation circuits etc etc - for those of us that prefer DAWless setups there are truly very few options available for multi-device, multi-channel midi sequencers that have 'song-mode's and go beyond simply chaining a few patterns or 'scenes' together. There are various other MIDI devices missing from the market. I have been a big fan of Behringers work in the last few years and am very much looking forward to the PRO-8 you are working on.
