Yeah the process is way more complicated now than ever. My 30-40 years of experience has only made things harder, albeit the quality is also more consistent in the end.

In the beginning the bass line sound like something from Commodore 64, but later with the Roland melody its like any Commodore Amiga demo tune. Very nice explanation.!
Tracker music has absorbed a lot from Spacesynth and in general the fact that Spacesynth is alive now is primarily due to the popularity of Spacesynth in the demoscene in the 90s.

Not only is he a programmer/gearhead/techhead, he is a good keys/piano player. He has a great sense of melody and harmony. (we also didn't see him woodshedding these ideas). A less secret ingredient: he's playing $15k worth of gear.

Paolo is the reason why i switched from software plugins to hardware. So i bought a Korg Microwave, Volca Keys and Sample and a NTS1 in the past and i am lucky to done that. It is different and makes more fun. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BELOVED CHANNEL.

So, let me explain: in addition to this doubled octave bass technique and the Lin drum beat, try adding some TB303 with an acid pattern line from the late 80's and let us find out how should it sound this combination. I'm really curious how should it sound such arrangement in a similar demo song like this, for example. Thanks and have all the best!

You can get damn close but all the quirks of the original hardware are going to provide a unique character that you just can’t recreate.
