    it takes a lot of energy to get these machines going and happy and working together, never mind jamming out something with all three, and performing without mistakes and setting up camera shots plus providing technical explanations. HUGE amount of work and great synth tunes. respect.

      Yeah the sync part isn't THAT hard, in fact it's REALLY with pulses and with just three pieces of hardware, but playing it perfectly is the harder bit. Sounds good.

      Yeah the process is way more complicated now than ever. My 30-40 years of experience has only made things harder, albeit the quality is also more consistent in the end.

    As I recall the Pro One can sync to ANY audio source, making it one of the most versatile mono synths out there. Nice to see one in aciton.

    I love the use of a very simple pattern with an arpeggiator and sequencer (like Stand Back by Stevie Nicks or Bladerunner by Vangelis)

      You can get damn close but all the quirks of the original hardware are going to provide a unique character that you just can’t recreate.

    In the beginning the bass line sound like something from Commodore 64, but later with the Roland melody its like any Commodore Amiga demo tune. Very nice explanation.!

      Tracker music has absorbed a lot from Spacesynth and in general the fact that Spacesynth is alive now is primarily due to the popularity of Spacesynth in the demoscene in the 90s.

    Brilliant. When the Jupiter kicks in it reminds me of Capella’s U Got 2 Let The Music. I swear they must have used a Jupiter too. Yours has more 80s charm and a lot less 90s cheese! Great performance and great sound

    You are one inspiring individual. I have used DAW versions of the Jupiter 8 and the Prophet One. But, seeing the actual instruments in use is amazing. I have just found a new UA-camr to subscribe to. Keep up the great work.

      @@darklordojeda I knew some of it was familiar but couldn't really point where. You're right that the JP-8's unison lead sounds quite similar to 'Sounds Like a Melody', but I still wouldn't say it's identical and even the other parts of it still bang.
      I'm sure he could release it with a little tweaking and it'd be a great tune! Cheers.
