- A red/black/white mardu brawl deck with Kaalia of the Vast as the commander for MTG Arena. This is primarily a combo deck trying to cheat out Griselbrand, who is banned in Commander but is legal in Brawl. The latest set at the time of recording is Modern Horizons 3, or MH3 for short.

worst part is nadu is flooding all tiers of the queue, not just hell queue... regardless of the power level of the deck i pick, at least 1/3 of my matches are nadus

The fact that this deck is beating hell que commanders, even though 80 percent of the time he has no creatures to cheese out with Kaalia, is super impressive.

When he had the option to play Curse of Silence 38:38, I thought: this would be appropriate considering opponents name.
But CGB, we wanted to see more juicy angels, demons and dragons. Not humans and monkeys etc :’(

The new powerlevel in brawl destroed the fun of the format. I almost stopped playing arena for the time being.
30:20 There's a world of a difference between having an actual conversation with someone you're playing Magic with irl by choice and fulfilling the fantasy people who want to imagine some connection with a stranger on the internet when you're here to play a game and just happen to need an opponent. My life is also improved by non-verbal options when navigating society, so I support the choice not to engage with strangers.

Only 12 angels/demons/dragons in the deck? Doesn't seem like enough. A lot of times, Kaalia won't trigger, let alone an additional time with Isshin.
basically a mardu goodstuff deck with khalia finisher which is kinda what you need to actually compete with hellqueue decks
This mana base is whack. The fact that you CAN have "perfect colors" with all these fetch and pain lands does not offset the hp cost. Math doesn't add up.
Stop playing so many pain lands. -_-
The choice to run Necropotence/dominance does require a lot of mana fixing, though all the pain lands make those cards worse anyway.

Definitely don't have the amount of Angels/Demons/Dragons in the deck to make Kaalia function properly. I feel like you could find a better mardu commander to run this type of deck if you really want to.
Sorry if there is an obvious answer to this question but isnt "Wooded Foothills" a Red/Green card so it would be illegal with a Red/White/Black commander?
Foothills doesn't have any green mana symbols. The word "forest" is legal, so it's fine even though it has the red/green background

Its not just crazy how many people mindlessly play Nadu, but how as soon as their perfect plan doesn’t execute on turn 4 they just scoop. Like are you really having fun playing that deck at this point?

"not legal in commander, but is legal in Brawl" is a phrase that should not exist. Can't wait for WotC to have a ban list for Brawl that makes sense. Griselbrand, Paradox Engine, Golos and Prime Titan should remain banned, and they should add a whole bunch of other ones too, personally I think cards like Mana Drain, Nadu, Verdant Reju/Last March, and Emergent Ultimatum are good candidates. But they can't keep the ban list as is, the format is getting way too competitive.
Hard disagree. A huge reason why the commander rules committee babies the format so much is because they want to make it friendlier to new or more casual players. Arena’s matchmaking system lets the tryhards go against each other without curb stomping people who don’t want to play as competitively. If WotC changed Brawl’s banlist to exactly mirror Commander’s then Brawl would lose a lot of its appeal

Brawl is so much different of a format than commander. Most of the cards you listed have no reason to be banned (most not all ) because it's not a 4 player format it's a lot easier to be interactive and also there is less support for some of those cards on arena than on paper
Of all the bullshit cards, Nadu should never have been printed. Card needs to be deleted from MTG
And yet Nadu has lost each time..XD. Chill bro, Nadu is easy to beat
People are trying to use this list to take my CGB-inspired Nadu build down. At least I think so. They don’t really get anywhere, so I’m not too sure
