2008 Mercedes-Benz C320 CDI 3.0 Avantgarde

Take a ride in the W204 Mercedes-Benz C-Class produced from 2007 to 2014 which received a facelift in 2011. The car in the video is a pre-facelift Avantgarde 4-door sedan from 2008 and it has the big 3.0 V6 CDi engine which produces 224 PS and 510 N·m of torque. On the exterior the Avantgarde differs from the Classic and Elegance models with it's three extended, horizontal louvres and a big centrally positioned Mercedes star, the traditional front design for sports models. It has a 7-speed automatic transmission and a top speed of around 250 km/h. The C 320 CDI has a fuel consumption of 7.3 liter pr 100 km (U.S. 32.2 mpg) which is about 13.7 km/l.

What makes the Elegance unique? I own one and I love it but I don't know anything about the other C320 models.

Elegance equipment has been made more luxurious. The bow star is in the same place as Classic, but e.g. the fog lights have chrome frames. The same chrome trim is also found on bumpers, fenders and doors. In addition, the lower edges of the windows are made of polished aluminum. The equipment also includes 12-spoke aluminum wheels. The Edinburgh fabric used in the interior is black, beige or gray. The interior is made of eucalyptus and the steering wheel is leather.

Yes indeed! The car had been standing still for a few weeks so that is probably why :)
I really like the 3.0 liter CDi motor from Mercedes it sounds good and pulls rather well.

I own the new S205 C220d, which has the 170bhp 2.143 cc. engine.
Best engine I've ever tried!

That's it, yes... Mine glows for only a couple seconds even below 0°C, but it does not crank if the glow plug light is on

Indeed, if mine had a 3.0 (like the old 270/280 had) I'd be very happy with it.

@A Raf From the aesthetical point of view, the 205 is way better, especially the estate (which I have). I would have gone for a C320d 205, if it existed...
