Finland has decided and will be sending Käärijä to represent the national at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest with the song Cha Cha Cha.

I see this as a critique to the Finnish stereotype that we need alcohol to own the dancefloor. He sings how he has this side who wants to dance but his grumpy "Finnish" side won't let that happen.
It's only after few drinks that he feels confident enough to head to the dancefloor and let loose. The message is actually quite sad if you think about it. Even though the song is the greatest party ever😅

I like that little detail because it may be sending an underlying message. The song is about getting drunk and partying, but the manic smiles of the dancers may be hinting that such a lifestyle can make a person "insane" if overdone. Perhaps this song is a poor man's descent into alcoholism rather than the "fun party anthem" it seems on the surface.

@ESC Lusbula I can't really agree with you here. Quite different genre. I think Käärijä gives something new and more uncommon. At the same time Blind Channel was kinda in the shadows of Måneskin, which were a way better performer. I wouldn't say Blind Channel was bad at all though.

In my opinion there are many good songs with great voices in this year on ESC but I agree with you. This song Cha Cha Cha is special, so full of energy and in a positive way whipping and positive and Käärijä is a great performer. He is also my number one and most of my votes will go to him
