Today Baby Lasagna has been awarded by Croatian goverment with 50.000 euros. He REFUSED award and told government to donate entire sum to children hospital for onchology deseases, and to Zagreb hospital for onchology as well. RESPECT !!! He has shown once again how humble and dicent guy he is ❤❤❤

@@haidimiliana I don't remember there being such a big gap between the audience and the jury. Last year Loreen was the bookies' favourite and she came second in the audience vote. But this year the contestant who was in 5th place according to audience votes won, and only 2 countries from all the juries gave the maximum score to Croatia.

Do you know why the jury exists? Because voters at home every time advantage their neighbours, especially this phaenomen exists in croatia and his neighbours. Also the jury evaluate with musical quality standards. Croatias song was exciting but the quality was low

How can 4 countries that border and are culturally connected to Croatia outnumber several hundred million in other parts of the EU who have no idea where Croatia is? . If they simply voted for neighbours we would have the same countries winning every year. instead in the last 15 years the public have voted 14 different countries as winners.😮

The lyrics are overly abstract and confusing, making it impossible to connect with the message or feel any emotional depth. Speaking of melody, there isn't a memorable one to be found; the song lacks any catchy hook or chorus that sticks with you.

I'm sure somebody had a calculator nearby lol. I remember in 2021 when it was Gjon's tears/Maneskin split scren and you could see someone telling Gjon before the reveal that there aren't enough points left and him waving his hand like 'eh, ok, no stress then'.

I don't know, only numbers count. I find it very strange 32 juries gave 12 points to the same guy, so different from public votes. Countries need to discover who sits at their juries and what their agenda is. Croatian song is talking about young people leaving their homes and going for a better life - if countries such as Poland, Czechia, Albania,...can understand that struggle less than problems a guy in a skirt has,...than ....🤷🏻♀️

The Jury should either be abolished entirely or have its power reduced from 50% to 30% or less. They can't expect to ignore the crowd vote year after year and still maintain interest in this competition.

I was hoping Croatia could repeat Italy’s history yesterday but the gap was too big after the jury vote: 150 points. Måneskin wouldn’t even win if they were to participate this year with that blatant bias.
And it feels like those jury mf has learned from the year when Italy won over France and Switzerland. So they needed to widen the gap between Switzerland and others as much as they could so the public vote won’t be able to change the result.
Well.. even with Måneskin there was a Blind Channel dividing opinions who should won. Don’t get me wrong, Måneskin is good too.
I hated Måneskin's song, but at least they got the viewers' votes, so I'm actually happy with that result. The jurys HAVE to go.

I am russian and I am still in my country and fighting depression. No mocking, true story. Marko’s story is inspiring itself and especially the help and support he gets from his family, friends and fiancée. Of this man is so loved by his people and nation - means he is good and deserves it.
Don't remember any song getting this big of a reaction from the audience. The 9000 people in the arena plus at least 12 million people around the world have spoken. You cannot fake chills, but you can fake votes. Shame on you, Eurovision, but one thing you were right about- music did unite us- we all voted Lasagna!

You know that last year they did not allowed juries from some countries to vote because in the semifinals they did not vote as the ESC organizer wanted.

This contest only still exists because of the audience and all the money that is made from the televote so it is wrong that the public don't decide who wins. The jury manipulates the scores to get the winner that the EBU wants. Croatia is the true winner, congratulations! I hope he does a European tour, his music is so good. I love this song and I have heard others. "Don't hate yourself but don't love yourself too much" is another great song. You don't have to win the silly trophy to win hearts and fans. Happy life and good luck Baby Lasagna, you deserve it, you made many people happy ❤

Most people voted for Croatia ( 337 points), Israel (323 points) Ukraine (307 points) and France (227 points). People gave Switzerland 226 points - that would have been the 5th place in the contest without the national juries
I think it's fair to ignore Ukraine and Israel. Let's be honest, they didn't get their points because of their songs. Personally I doubt their points were even real.
