He was so ill to think weeks later he was gone forever such an emotional performance this one always has me in tears his voice powerful as ever the Goat 👍✌👍
I agree. Darlin. I wish they wouldn't play anything of his. In 1977. This man was so sick. Right here. And he looked so bad. I'm a huge fan of his. I just turned 60. And I remember. Where I was when he died. If you a true fan of his. And know his history. Then you like me. You don't won't to see this. Veido of him. Not reming. Words to a song. And sluring his words. I'm crying so hard right now. Peace love and stay well darlin.
The man was amazing. By this time we now know he was on all kinds of drugs to sleep, stay up, perform, rinse, repeat. Not to mention he would die soon. He had to be so sick, feel so sick, how he could sing like this proves that his voice was a gift from God.
Elvis had one foot in the grave while doing this. That makes it so much more emotional. He wanted/craved to please his audience towards the very end. Elvis Presley - The GOAT - died in his home Graceland on the eve of a new show/tour..God Almighty decided he had enough, and took him home.
I am a new fan and totally obsessed with this amazing man. I am so happy I watched Elvis 2022 ‼️ It is to bad his peers did not give him the acaloyds he so clearly deserved. So based on the awards this year this incredible movie showed their attitudes towards Elvis has not changed😢 Welcome to all the new fans this movie has brought ‼️❣️
Poor Charlie has to hold the mic. Helping him by whispering words to him. Elvis was so down to earth even when so ill. R.I.P. my man.. Voice was operatic.
It’s so hard to watch this! Seemed so hard on him!! An amazing entertainer, with an amazing voice and heart for the Lord! He was darn handsome too. ❤❤❤
"Unchained Melody" was originally recorded in 1955 by Todd Duncan. It’s named “Unchained Melody” not because it concerns itself with romantic love, but because it was written and composed by Alex North and Hy Zaret, for the movie "Unchained", about life in prison, based on the book "Prisoners are People". When Elvis said it was an old song, he knew it was older than the Righteous Brothers version in 1965. Elvis gave us his all to the end, we loved him and he loved us back. NO ONE will ever come close to Elvis, NO ONE.
He gave us everything he had in him in his last song We should cherish him forever by keeping him alive in his music May you rest in peace your a angel
I love this video of elvis he still had that beautiful smile sense of humor and my god that voice is so powerful that he just gives me chills I just love him
I keep returning to this video, especially when I'm feeling at my worst. I do so because to me this performance is transcendent. I see a born performer who is near the end of his life, giving all of himself to one of the most passionate performances of his career. I feel that he turned "Unchained Melody" into an opus. The words of the song reflected the connection with his audience and his music, the longings of his heart, and his desire to shine on stage. He comes fully alive before our eyes during this performance, and with eyes closed we hear only his singular, undiminished voice.
It brings tears to my eyes. You can feel and hear his spirit crying out . Such power and passion you could feel the Holy Spirit and Elvis's plea. Through the pain and his many illnesses he puts on a smile and delivers the goods like only he can. Then gets up and walks away smiling like a Chessy cat as if to say "I may look like I'm sick but I'm still the sh*t"........
Am smiling at your reaction, my earliest memories are Elvis Presley singing, he was such a gift to humanity. My hair stands up even after all these years looking at this, Elvis most likely had Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, he would have suffered terribly, but that is the most up to date medical research on his early death
When Elvis sang "I'll be coming home (Heaven)", and "God, speed your love to me" -- I think that lyric meant a different meaning to him. That makes me cry , but also at peace to know he would soon escape the pains that he endured (for the love of his fans). Notice how that audience was dead silent during his quiet passages, and in total awe with what they were experiencing. Respect~!
I always felt he was thinking of Priscilla and Lisa Marie when he sang that song. It’s so powerful. Something was on his mind and something was in his heart. It’s in the voice.

I’m crying I miss him so much I remember that awful day when he past away I cried so much I was devastated I loved him so much this is hard to watch he put a brilliant show on but he was so sick he sang so beautifully In this concert he gave it everything he had it’s as though he new that this was his last concert he past away 6weeks after it’s 44yrs now and I’m still grieving 😢Love from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴👑👑👑👑🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🎸🎸🎸👍👋
Denise Perryman I remember watching 👀this concert when I was in the hospital 🏥 elvis Presley did look very sick and it is still hard to believe that his death would happen just six weeks after his very last concert at the market square arena in Indianapolis,Indiana Denise if elvis aron Presley were alive today just how old do you think that he would be? Give up if elvis aron Presley were still alive today he would be 87 years old being that he was only 42yrs old on his death August 16,1977 in Memphis,Tennessee.
@@dianahohimer1107 the market square arena were elvis aron Presley performed his very last concert has been demolished this is a shame that this happened because the market square arena was a great part of history 😢with the demolition of this great piece of history, people will never get to see 👀just were the king 🤴of rock-n-roll elvis aron Presley performed his very last concert just six weeks before his death at the age of 42 Diana what part of England 🇬🇧 are you from because my great grandmother was born in Dublin,Ireland and she moved to London england 🇬🇧were my grandmother was born so I have ancestry in both England 🇬🇧and Ireland 🇮🇪 as well as being 25%native American being that my great-father was 100%cheerokie Indian he visited London england 🇬🇧 were he met my grandmother and married her he lived with her until his death at the age of 85 in 1989 my grandmother died just two months later at the age of 97 both of them lived very long and good lives and now they are together forever&beyond in heaven my mother 👩was just 16 years old when she had me in 1965 and she died when she was only 51 years old she had suffered a heart ❤attack because she was born with a hole in her heart that never healed and she was to poor to have corrective surgery to close the hole in her heart and that is what caused her death she passed this birth defect on to me but when I was born I was born with the same hole in my heart but my hole in my heart closed up and healed on it's own so I wouldn't have to have open heart surgery to correct this problem but yes this problem also ran in elvis's family as well it is what caused the heart attack that led to the death of elvis Presley's mother Gladys Presley and some say it would also lead to the death of elvis aron Presley as well at the young age of just 42 because his mother Gladys Presley died when she was only 46 and elvis's identical twin brother Jesse Garon Presley was still born as a result of a problem with his own heart this defect may have been passed on to elvis and his twin brother Jesse Garon Presley by both Gladys and Vernon Presley plus the fact that both elvis and his twin brother Jesse Garon Presley were also born with their colon's twisted this is why elvis aron Presley became addicted to prescription pain medication's and by elvis Presley taking all of these prescription medications he would have his closest friend's and his doctor George a.nicopalis keep filling these prescription medications and by constantly taking these medications that would lead to the death of the king of rock-n-roll elvis aron Presley 🤴 did you know Diana hohimer that elvis would take upper's to wake up in the morning and take downer's to go to sleep at night and this is another thing that would also play a part in and end up leading to the death of the king of rock-n-roll elvis aron Presley 🤴,if elvis aron Presley had just said no to taking all of these prescription drugs and the other medications that would lead to him to become addicted to them he just might still be alive today though he would be 87 years old and maybe still be able to perform a concert or two here and there but he would still be alive today wouldn't he! But he would still be known as the king of rock-n-roll, and here's just what the news anchor reported on the evening news on August 16,1977 in Memphis,Tennessee good evening ladies and gentlemen we have a bit of very sad news to report to you this evening, elvis aron Presley died today at his home 🏡Graceland mansion in Memphis,Tennessee he was only 42yrs old elvis 😢😞💔had been slated to start his sold out concert tour 😢😞💔starting 😢😞💔in Maine and ending back up in Memphis,Tennessee with a final concert performance in Tennessee before he was to also start a sold out concert tour starting in Los Angeles,California and tour the state of California before starting another concert tour starting in the great country of London england 🇬🇧and ending in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 before elvis aron Presley would take a vacation to Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 before starting his next concert tour that would start in the state of Michigan and then end on such a great and grand scale ⚖, the ultimate concert in the state of Michigan was to be the final concert of of the king 🤴of rock-n-roll 🇺🇸 elvis aron Presley because he was to retire from the concert touring circuit and go out on top of the music 🎶industry alway's to and forevermore be known to the world 🌎 as the king 🤴of rock-n-roll 🇺🇸 elvis aron Presley elvis your family loved-ones and friends as well as your fan's forever&beyond will never ever forget you because you brought alot of happiness and joy 😂🥲💙😢💔❤😂🥲 into the lives of alot of people here in America 🇺🇸and 🇬🇧also around the world 🌎 and 🇬🇧as a person of both English and Irish decent I say for all of your family friends and loved-ones and also your fan's forever&beyond long live the king 🤴of rock-n-roll 🇺🇸elvis aron Presley, and in the star trek series and the star trek movie's I myself would like to see 👀a starfleet federation starship named after the king 🤴of rock-n-roll 🇺🇸elvis aron Presley the starship of the oddesy class with the name u.s.s. elvis Presley federation starship registry number of ncc-1973 the registry number here would be after the king 🤴of rock-n-roll 🇺🇸elvis aron Presley performed his concert aloha from Hawaii via satellite 🛰 in Honolulu,Hawaii not to far away from pearl harbor were the wreck of the battleship u.s.s. His final performance was 4 days after this, then less than 2 months later he died! His smile while he sings is beautiful! You can tell he still loved singing!
Elvis performing this song is so beautiful yet so tragic. He was so sick yet he wanted to do a great performance. It is so obvious how "out of it" he was with the way he started. And the sweating. His manager caused this and if not for that person he could of maybe still be here today in his 80's and performed all over the world the way he wanted to.
I'm so happy after all these years people are starting to realize how great he was. I don't know why you never and I mean NEVER hear on the radio. Maybe that will change with the new Tom Hanks movie. The guys who plays Elvis could be his twin...wow.
I can remember hearing him on the radio for years after his death , but you are correct, unless theres an oldies station , hes not played much anymore , but if you have Sirius XM , he has his own dedicated channel , and its amazing! Broadcast straight from Graceland . I listen to it all the time , so much stuff and even alternate recordings and concerts and trivia . Very cool !
greatest voice ever to sing into a mic. Elvis made every song better then the original. Elvis did some up tempo songs before he did this Unchained Melody here thats why was little out of breathe talking. Far as him talking he was always shy on stage until the music began. Elvis sweating was from the lights being so low to the stage if you watch the whole concert he even says so. Yes Elvis's body was failing him but his voice never did actually voice got even stronger
@@clintcalvert9250 so you think it’s okay to degrade a person in pain? Do you even know the true story? I bet you a wonderful person that never made a mistake……yeah that was sarcasm. What are typical good at???? Washing cars? Grow up
I was informing people that he was sweating and acting off,due to drugs. I respect Elvis very very much. Artistic journeys aren’t casual, and I love this performance.
When I hear Elvis sing this and listen to the dark timber and his vibrato... Amazing. Although he put on some weight and was abusive towards prescription drugs. Elvis knew when he sings, it's for his audience. He was the quintessential entertainer. R.I.P Elvis... you not just change music, you changed the world. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thing I like about programs like this it gets the word out to the next generation and experience of Elvis for loving and appreciate the goodness and generosity and sweetness that the man is that he had such great heart but he put everything he had into all his performance but knowing he was so sick at the end and really did everything possible to please the audience like he always did he did such beyond words marvelous fantastic incredible it put me to tears I mean he is this marvelous the way he was entertainer or movie star anything you did it's just he's a Sweet soul I just wish he could have helped himself before it got too late it was tragic when we lost lost him and we don't have him anymore but this will linger on to the next so they learn more and more about Elvis as the generation goes on and that's great and memories that he won't be forgotten he once said that he was hoping he wouldn't be forgotten in 40 years well he's got to understand he never will and we love him now and forever and it will pass on to their kids and their grandkids and even then so I love this performance I love Elvis like so many and we enjoy this and we look so forward to seeing him someday you got to believe in that
The most unforgettable song of The King of Rock n Roll that makes me cry because this was his last song before his death. Be was very sick at this point of time but his voice was perfect still the high notes was so Brilliant absolutely awesome. I wish that you are alive and I can huge you
Mate, I'm in tears within the first 30 seconds and then two more times after. I've never been an Elvis fan, nor Michael Jackson, but I'm man enough to admit they were at least two of the greatest in their field.
Besides the passion in this awesome performance, the camera focuses on 4 young women in the audience and their facial expressions of heart felt concern for Elvis brought a tear to my eye...
A relative of mine, who is interested in family history, recently told me that Elvis is (I cannot bring myself to say WAS), a distant cousin of ours. Well, close or distant, what greater honour could you have than to be related to a man who, though nearing death, had such enormous courage and charm and could sing like this.
When he sang "still miiiiiine", the strength in that was unbelievable. It may be the strongest I've ever heard Elvis. As sick as he was, I feel there was something spiritual going on here.
I came across this again and lovely reaction. I'm just an older white guy in America from the Midwest but I grew up loving this him and even though I'm not overtly religious now so much. I never subtracted it from my upbringing by any means and Elvis, you have to understand something. This is very painful for me to watch. I loved him as a young man and now he is literally three months before death. They had them on so many drugs and controlled him so much it was so sad. He died way too early but boy his voice seemed to just get better and better right up until his death and he does this song and this traditional and well loved him just tremendous Justice. I'm glad you were able to do it and yes I got goosebumps ride along with you, thank you for doing it.
I agree 100 percent with the comments from TC his voice is the greatest voice to ever hit a microphone. He was a gift from the Lord and I miss him everyday and though I was only 13 years old when he passed I’m 58 years old now and I appreciate his music more today then I did then because since 1977 there hasn’t been any replacements for him and the more you study his music the more you will see just how great he was and still is!!!
"Spectacular" is a good word for Elvis. Unchained Melody was a big hit for Al Hibbler and Roy Hamilton in 1955, just as Elvis was starting to become famous. In 1965 the Righteous Bros. made it a hit again. Elvis sang it in the later part of his career, with depth and feeling to give goosebumps - every time I hear him do it.
Elvis sang from his heart ...he started out with a passion to sing the fame and the money came later ...now adays the money and fame are first the passion just isnt there thats why he was such a ledgend and there arent many true ledgends around
You should listen to "How great thou at" from the same concert it will blow you away!! His body was failing him and he passed away shortly after this concert!! He put everything he had into that song the amazing amazing power that voice will give you chills He still had that shy little boy smile that breaks your heart in a million pieces!! After that song it's a wonder that he didn't have a heart attack right on that stage..A legend that will forever be missed!!
I’m not sure that I have more to add beyond what’s already been written by others here. It’s a month before his passing, he’s a sick man with multiple serious medical issues but his voice maintains its range and power. Anyone hearing this live version of Unchained Melody or the live version of How Great Thou Art will never forget how his heart and soul were/are connected to the music, his G-d and his fans. 45 years since his death and he still has legions of fans the world over who remember him with gratefulness, love and affection.
He's so sick here. Just weeks from dying....and look at what the f%ck he does. If someone did a performance like this today ....imagine what social media would do with it...nobody does perform like this today. Just...WOW!
seeing him in this condition close to his death is truly heartbreaking. yes the outer skin was different, he was undoubtedly very poorly but....my god, the real Elvis never went anywhere. Its there, in his voice in his smile, in his performance .
I get tears every time I watch him sing this. What an incredible performance. He could sing anything.
He was so ill to think weeks later he was gone forever such an emotional performance this one always has me in tears his voice powerful as ever the Goat 👍✌👍

He died 6 weeks after this concert 🥲
Same (-,:
Righteous Brothers is better this sounds like a dying dog
Had the golden pipes to the End!
He was saying Goodbye to us...He knew his time was near the end....Makes me cry...
It makes me so happy to see that the younger generation is again being subjected to the tremendous voice of Elvis. May he never be forgotten.
Imagine holding up the microphone for one of Elvis' final performances.. 😳😲
Gone with the wind and forever in our hearts. He’s with us. You’ll find out 174
That got me emotional again. Last time he preformed, he passed away six weeks later Amazing vocals
there was a time where i wouldv said elvis shouldnt have performed in that condition, but now i thank god he did
A singer with soul….our Elvis🦋🌈
It is simply breathtakingly beautiful.
Thank you Mr Presley.

For real
✨❤️ He‘s the King 👑🐐 forever!❤️✨
Watch the movie!
@Frostbite así es crack
I gave her a thumbs up just for her genuine reaction. There's something to be said for that.
No holding back those tears. Magic
The King. Nothing more needs to be said.
He gave His all emotions that came from inside that is why he was sweating. He was still smiling
It makes me cry everytime I hear him doing this one, at that time...
When I first heard this live I cried him being sick and his voice still sounded like that no one will EVER meet his voice
This was his last performance. RIP sweet Elvis.
How could someone have never heard Elvis Presley sing before?
Even though Elvis would be gone in 6 weeks after this performance it shows the power of his voice and that he never lost the power of his voice.
Elvis voice has something magical about it, never seen before or after. Thanks you.

Outside the spotlight, he was so shy, so soft spoken, you wouldn't believe that he had the power that he did.

Yeah but also he did say his favourite comic book her was captain marvel junior who has the SPEED OF GOD(mercury)

The power In this man's voice
By this time in his life, he could hardly string a sentence together, but boy! Could he sing.

Arizona registry number bb-39 this battleship is only one of two Pennsylvania-class battleship's to ever be built the other battleship u.s.s. Pennsylvania bb-38 would remain afloat as would the u.s.s. Nevada but because of the two battleship's being heavily contaminated with nuclear readation the u.s.s. Pennsylvania bb-38 would be scuttled and sunk just off of the islands 🏝 of the bikini atoll near the island 🏝of Guam 🇬🇺 signaling the end of world 🌎war two,and the president of the United States 🇺🇸of America Harry s.truman was the president of these United States of America 🇺🇸 who ordered the first of the two atomic bomb's to be dropped on Japan 🇯🇵 the first atomic bomb dropped on August 6,1945 was named the fat-man a.k.a.(fat-ass) and the other atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki on August 9,1945 was named little-boy a.k.a. (pip-squeak or runt of the litter).uncle Truman gave a clear cut ✂️message to Japan 🇯🇵 that if the nation of Japan 🇯🇵 was to ever try this again on the United States of America 🇺🇸 or any of America's allied nation friends, this is just precisely what president Truman said to Japan 🇯🇵 Japan 🇯🇵 if you ever try this kind of war tactic on America 🇺🇸 or any of our allied nation friends we as Americans and our allied nation friends will obliterate your country from and off the face of this earth 🌎 and Japan 🇯🇵 we will be watching 👀 you like a hawk watches it's target and prey Japan 🇯🇵 pass this message on to your axis friends as well and tell them that we American's and our allied nation friends will be watching 👀 you together as well, Japan 🇯🇵and your axis friends go ahead and try this on us again Japan 🇯🇵 you and your axis friends will be obliterated together forever&beyond, so like the country music legend and singer Toby Keith says time and time again if you and your friends enemies of America 🇺🇸and our allied nation friends keep messing with us we'll put a boot 👢in your ass cause it's the American way as an American I will always look out for my country and also look out for the country's of America's allied nation friends this yes england 🇬🇧 Ireland 🇮🇪 Scotland Australia 🇦🇺 New Zealand 🇳🇿 France 🇫🇷 Italy 🇮🇹 Germany 🇩🇪 Israel 🇮🇱 Egypt 🇪🇬 Canada 🇨🇦 Iceland 🇮🇸 Austria 🇦🇹and yes even now Japan 🇯🇵 and the Czech 🇨🇿Republic let's just send a message to our enemies keep on messing with us and we'll put a boot 👢in your ass cause it's the American way say's country music legend Toby Keith.
Actor, singer, song writer, musician, entertainer, now you know why they call him the king.
His final performance was 4 days after this, then less than 2 months later he died! His smile while he sings is beautiful! You can tell he still loved singing!
Wry nice review. Thank you for the Elvis world. We appreciate it.
Elvis performing this song is so beautiful yet so tragic. He was so sick yet he wanted to do a great performance. It is so obvious how "out of it" he was with the way he started. And the sweating. His manager caused this and if not for that person he could of maybe still be here today in his 80's and performed all over the world the way he wanted to.
made me cry x
Such a beautiful song RIP Elvis
Very cool !
The Greatest.
greatest voice ever to sing into a mic.
He’s on various drugs. A true legend for sure. Don’t be so niev.
Than*
@@clintcalvert9250 so you think it’s okay to degrade a person in pain? Do you even know the true story? I bet you a wonderful person that never made a mistake……yeah that was sarcasm. What are typical good at???? Washing cars? Grow up
I was informing people that he was sweating and acting off,due to drugs. I respect Elvis very very much. Artistic journeys aren’t casual, and I love this performance.
Who was I degrading?
Besides the passion in this awesome performance, the camera focuses on 4 young women
in the audience and their facial expressions of heart felt concern for Elvis brought a tear to my eye...
He’s the only man that made me cry through song.
The man was already dying. His insides were quite literally not functioning. And he still had the strength to make that sound. He was a blessed gift.
A relative of mine, who is interested in family history, recently told me that Elvis is (I cannot bring myself to say WAS), a distant cousin of ours. Well, close or distant, what greater honour could you have than to be related to a man who, though nearing death, had such enormous courage and charm and could sing like this.
HIS VOICE NEVER FAIL HIM TRULY A GIFT THE KING R I P
Really hard to watch him like this, he’s not finding it as effortless as he used to, he’s still killing it though.
God bless him, he was ethereal…❤️
When he sang "still miiiiiine", the strength in that was unbelievable. It may be the strongest I've ever heard Elvis. As sick as he was, I feel there was something spiritual going on here.
He is still the greatest still...
powerfull voice !!
What an amazing voice and beautiful reaction.
The biggest Elvis of them all ♥
Thank you for playing Elvis Presley 🥰🥰
You are super beautiful. Elvis is King
Elvis será por siempre El Rey.
Your honest reaction is priceless.
Elvis sang from his heart ...he started out with a passion to sing the fame and the money came later ...now adays the money and fame are first the passion just isnt there thats why he was such a ledgend and there arent many true ledgends around
thank you, you get it enjoy! you should if you haven't , listen to if i can dream....enjoy and again thanks.
Poor guy was suffering but, the show must go on!
In the new "Elvis" movie, Austin Butler sings this song at the end of the movie and then it goes into some of this footage of Elvis singing.
This song always makes me so emotional
Long live The King 😭❤❤
Simplemente sin palabras el rey.
Love this man worship him
The one and only king
His voice lasted him clear till the end and he always gave it his all
Your reaction made me tear up. Beautiful reaction
Thank you 😊
Thanks for reacting to the full version. You're emotions are like most fans. This song is so moving. You're terrific!
He could barely talk straight anymore but when it came to the song it was perfection
