- We got to play around racing one of our modified RC cars against a twin turbo C5 Corvette. Normally the Vette makes over 1000hp but he turned it down a little so it wouldn't spin too bad. There was nothing staged, this is as real as it gets.
Now we need to find some cars with slicks to race and see how it turns out.

4wd plus a killer power to weight ratio...few cars can beat the higher-end RC cars available today. That rc can do 100mph out of the box.

The RC runs out of signal or what ? Why does he stop it every single time on the same spot ?
Are you fucking kidding me right now, how is he going to see it if it goes further away?
The signal cuts out if I go any farther, plus it's harder to see.

signal cuts out within a certain radius, RC exceeds that radius of your remote the RC stops and you cant control it.
They at least could have brought in a car to keep up with the RC so that the signal continues to transfer to the RC.

What the Heck? I'm building one that will be capable of 130 minimum. It was running 100 on my 6s setup which I geared low because my motor overheated and was defective.

Putting a go pro on the RC would make it unbalanced and also slower cause of the weight. it could even result in it flipping over when reaching max speed. so that's a pretty bad idea

Yeah, I guess I need to move the receiver to a higher spot in the car. They don't make the antenna on them long enough.
I got real good range on my stock Traxxas receiver. So far it was hard to see the car
My Traxxas worked better too but all my receivers are Spectrum so I'm stuck with using them for now.
really, my buddies Spectrum gets a real good distance too, and we just shove the antenna in the box
My spectrum receivers will cut out really close, half a block or so

Hope that guy in the vette figures out how to shift. First shift was early at low rpm and the second shift was still on the throttle in the shift.

It's a modified XO1, the frame is shortened and it has a 2200kv MM motor, XL2 esc on 6s.
