Video captures Good Samaritans rescuing CHP officer under attack in Orange County

- Cellphone video captured the moment three Good Samaritans jumped out of their vehicles to help a California Highway Patrol officer who was being attacked by a man on the side of a busy freeway onramp.
The incident occurred on May 19 at around 5 p.m., at the Main Street northbound entrance to the 5 Freeway in Santa Ana.
CHP officers had been called to the area on reports of a man yelling at drivers and trying to take down a freeway sign. Officials said the officer was planning to let the man go with a warning when he suddenly attacked.

@@bobhimself2590 well, it doesn’t always work out that way. The only thing between pure evil (like hardened criminals) and US are the cops. I have no reason not to like them. I’m not a criminal, I’ve never been arrested, and every interaction I’ve ever had with them has been fairly positive. I respect them and treat them accordingly. They in turn, do the same. They have a difficult job and they risk their lives every day to protect the public, whether the public likes them or not. To purposely stand there and not render aid to an officer (or anyone in need, for that matter) when you are fully capable of doing so, is just being a cold and heartless individual. I simply do not fall into that category.
Those helping that officer look like illegal aliens shouldn't of been there in the first place. They also have a heavy accent of course it's california so what else should you expect.

Talk about never underestimating someone's size. It took 3 men to end that lil guy's assault.
He was probably high on something. Some of these drugs give some people almost super human strength. I hope he goes to jail for a long time, or if he's here illegally I hope they deport him back on a plane without a parachute! Thank God those men helped this officer, imagine if that man had managed to get his gun. It could have ended so badly.
He was seen bending the freeway signs with his hands. He had to have been hopped up.
He must have been on drugs. Gees, the officer was concerned, about his safety, and had asked him not to walk on the freeway, because he may get hit by a vehicle. 🤯
