My only issue with this story is that OP doesn’t know jack shit about Big Softie, he never even researched anything, but then all of a sudden at the end he knows exactly what Big Softie is all about. Suddenly he knows he’s taken a life, so he gained his own, & is now looking human. How would he know any of that?

Everyone is calling Big Softy a homie, which I WOULD agree with... If he had more acted like a guardian angel for the narrator rather than a haunting demon for Ian. Big Softie was never the narrator's friend, he was only hunting. And gained a symbiotic relationship of sorts. To hunt better.

I love this concept I am making a animated horror series and I just decided to make a imaginary friend episode I ended up liking it. So I made an entire side children’s show of the concept I am starting to write some very scary plot lines in it where it will be a good psychological thriller like I said it’s just such a great concept so I enjoyed this one

While a bit overdone, id say he is a big ❤ softie. He saved the protagonist's life and saved him mentally from the torture of bullying. I dont follow why the protagonist is so weak and squeamish to not recognize a friend as a friend.
But how did Ian know his name was Big Softy?
Best one in a while. Nothing woke or hoakey. Good storyline. SPOILER. I started feeling sorry for Ian until he said, "don't you dare put this on me." But it was on him and it proved he wasn't sorry for being a bully.

I feel bad for the bully because his life was destroyed and then ended because of some demon. In the end the bullied became far worse then the bully.
He didn't say sorry, just saying he'd probably be fine if he did, there's no actual instance of Big Softie being completely malicious, did Ian deserve to get tortured and killed? No, slight over-reaction on Big Softie's part, but he did have his reasons.
